The service we’ve received from this hotel was top notch. Our airline was a mess and unable to communicate properly with us, and after getting in touch with Tommy at the front desk, we knew that we were finally talking to someone who had an idea on what was going on. Tommy answered my call around 1:50am and confirmed that we were being sent there. He clearly explained everything that we needed to do to get the shuttle and explained where/when it would arrive. After a quick ride from the airport, we got to the hotel and Tommy had the rooms all setup and ready for us to go. From when I got on with Tommy to when my head hit the pillow it was no longer than 20 minutes. A far cry from what my experience with customer support from the airline. Tommy was still there in the morning when I woke up and still working hard. We had a great stay here largely to the hard work and service provided by Tommy and the rest of the team!

Recently stayed here for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Extremely clean and quiet, despite being right next to the airport, which is extremely convenient. I did not personally use the service, but noticed the airport shuttle making trips daily for the guests. The breakfast was good too! Ms. Cindy and Tommy at the front desk were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again!

I enjoyed my stay and would stay again if I'm ever in the area. The rooms were great. The front desk attendant, Marie, was exceptional with my check-in process. The hotel sits next to the airport runway, so it could be noisy outside the hotel, but inside, I had no problem: Comfortable bed and clean room. The downside is the continental breakfast could have a better menu. With that being said, I would come back.

We stopped by to catch up on sleep after a red eye and we couldn’t have been happier. The airport shuttle was prompt and quick, the hotel was clean and the room was spacious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with a delayed check out so we could sleep in a bit more. But holy crap, that bed was extremely comfortable. Surprisingly comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Very convenient to the airport. Room was updated and cozy. Staff was exceptional and helpful. We took the shuttle to the airport and had zero problems. Just a small thing, but I also really appreciated the added security! You had to use a keypad and scan your room key to get back to all the rooms.

My adventure with comfort inn the service was impeccable from the ride from the airport to the hotel and then Mr Tommy the front desk man check me in. Mr Tommy was knowledgeable and very helpful with my needs. They had menus at the front desk for Mr Jim's Pizza which was awesome. Everybody has to try that pizza. My room was clean and comfortable and had all the channels that I wanted on the the tv. My bed was so nice and comfy that it felt almost like home. Woke up in the morning to a nice yummy breakfast downstairs and I would recommend this stuff to anybody. I give them five stars all the way. Make this comfort in your home away from home when you're in the New Orleans area flying in.

This Comfort Inn & Suites is among the best airport properties I've stayed and in it's price range there's nothing close. Newly renovated, it sparkles and shines as you enter the lobby, the new rooms are fully equipped, spacious, and very comfortable. New mattresses and coverings are just what the doctor ordered.
I must also say the the quality of all the new refurbishments is only eclipsed by the staff at the property.
Let's talk about breakfast. Typically hotel breakfast is at most edible. Not so here, I must say this was one of the most enjoyable hotel breakfasts I've had. Fresh, hot and very tasty is how I would describe my experience. I personally had interactions with six staff members. The lobby attendants and three drives all of which could not have been more courteous and professional. Cindy, you have don an amazing job with your hires and training. As someone that has been in the travel business a very long period of time, I would be more than happy to recommend THIS CI&S to any of my clients. I will definitely see you again and again and again.

First, the staff, Terry and his lovely assistant in training were the nicest people I have ever encountered working a hotel lobby. I felt like we were best friends right off. My company booked me at a different comfort inn but told me it was this one so when I arrived my res was not in the system. Terry hooked me up in a fast minute and got me a superb quiet room and I didn't even hear planes coming and going, maybe the airport closed, I don't know, but it was quiet. Terry had 4 things going at once and he is Mr. Multi-tasker along with helping the new employee through a process too. The hotel room was clean and comfortable, I didn't do breakfast there, since BK at the Cafe du Monde is the ticket while in NOLA. Parking is free and well lit outdoors and roomy spaces. I got a room here instead of downtown since I have a full size pickup and read reviews of excessive parking costs and break-ins downtown so I figured I would uber it d'town, which was $15. Bourbon street was an assault on all 5 senses, but I had to check it out once, never again, thanks.

Walls are quite thin and you will be able to hear your neighbours make any noise but it’s a good hotel if you’re looking to stay somewhere close to the airport. Very comfortable stay and they have a shuttle that goes to the airport every hour.

A great place to stay if you need to stay near the airport. Tommy, and the overnight desk attendant, were both friendly and efficient. Rooms and hotel are clean, updated, accommodating. Caters to travelers!

The hotel is under renovation, but it's quiet, and it's pretty neat. The staff is very nice. My room was clean, and the elevators were functioning properly. The parking lot is fairly small, but the grounds are well kept. The hotel is near lots of shopping centers, gas stations, and restaurants. Not walking distance.

The color scheme of this hotel is really beautiful. The colors are vibrant yellow and gray. The hallways were quiet at night, and so was the parking lot. It seemed the police were on regular patrol in the area as well.

The only complaint is that the water wasn't that hot, but it may have been due to renovations or because we are under a water conservation rule right now.

One last thing... my bed was sooo comfortable, it was like sleeping on a cloud.

I'd definitely stay again.

I stayed at Comfort Inn and Suites New Orleans North in August 2023 for one night while traveling and had a connection in the morning. They provided a shuttle service to and from the airport. Our room was very clean and smelled fresh. I liked that they provided shower caps I normally don't see those in most hotels. We had an early fright and rushed out of our room. I accidentally left my gold necklace and watch. I called the hotel as soon as I realised and spoke with the Manager Cindy Bishop who immediately asked a staff to check our room and informed me she can keep it in the safe for me to pick up when I return or I can have it shipped to me. I decided to have it shipped. She packaged and shipped my valuables to me. I am forever grateful and look forward to staying there in the future.

Just stayed two nights in this hotel, used to be a Radisson, but was sold and renovated as a new Comfort Inn, this is a short 5 min drive from the airport terminals, has a free airport shuttle, the outside, lobby, and rooms are all newly redone, we had a single king room that was smartly decorated with back-lit mirrors and television, nice full bathroom with adjustable massaging shower head, sofa sleeper, nice big desk that I used to telework, free wifi and satellite TV, bedside phone chargers and reading lamps, and hot breakfast is included. The staff members and shuttle drivers were very friendly and helpful, and the $100/night price on Expedia staked the deal. A few negatives include a wobbly toilet, some rust in the shower, few restaurants nearby, and it's in the flight path of the north runway, but the noise wasn't bad. Recommended.

Wow!!!! One of my best hotel experiences. This is a
Comfort Inn like no other. Shoot it's got Doubletree beat. The first thing i noticed was the welcoming greeting from Terry and a bold but refreshing citrus pop to the air. Service and friendliness from Terry and others is second to none, cleanliness and interior are way cool and snazzy. The bed has this soft row of light at the top of the bedboard, perfect for a night light or romantic touch.

And it's not just me, I heard the same or similar from other guests I happen to be with on the elevator.

Highly recommended!!!

To the management team:
Please don't change a thing except to go even higher. You guys have an awesome thing going on here.

Last minute booking due to flight delay. 8/5/23 the hotel was almost done remodeling. Due to this, the lobby was usable, but not complete (no matter to me, just passing through). The room was clean, recently updated and included fridge/freezer, microwave and coffee and tea maker. The Sheraton downtown New Orleans didn't have a fridge (unless you asked, and took some time to get from what others told me and I saw one being delivered), nor a microwave.
Bed and pillows (lots of them! ) were very comfy. TV large size and lots of channels, including some "premium channels". Bathroom had hairdryer, enough soap, shampoo etc. Large bathroom that included lots of safety bars, a shower mat and even a shower chair (not sure if this room was a special accessible room, but either way it was well thought out.
The only negatives were the phone hadn't been plugged in, so I had to go to the lobby for a question. Not a big deal at all. Also the shuttle AC was broken, so the person that seemed like the owner or manager said they could shuttle me to the airport, but discouraged it due to very excessive heat. So I Ubered from the Airport, but in the morning at 7:30am I took a chance and took the shuttle for the ~5 min ride and it wasn't that bad at that time, but later would probably been worse. I was very pleasantly surprised at the nice accommodations, and did I mention they have a pool and also breakfast? I didn't want breakfast, so can't comment on the food, but I was surprised they had it even with the construction going on, so that tells me they want the best for their travelers. Everyone was nice and helpful.

I stay here quite often, definitely recommend for overnight of short term. They are renovating and the rooms look great. The airplanes not so great, but that isn’t their fault.

Absolute phenomenal guest services! So kind and funny! They all made my short stay feel warm and welcoming. Love the shuttle to the airport and free breakfast (waffles and coffee! And more) location is great for the airport but nothing really walking distance which you can obviously Uber.
Location is great for the airport but not much food. They have a bar and pool! Room was standard. The king bed suite has a fridge and coffee pot with tea as well which was nice(and a pullout sofa) Cable tv so tons to watch. The staff was the best part!

Since we had an unreasonable early flight the next day, we booked a room for 3 adults forn1 night. When we came in, the lobby was a mess! But! With good reason, they were painting and remoddeling it. We were friendly greeted, and quickly checked in in a newly refurbished room. The room was spacious enough for 3 adults and nicely remoddeled with modern furniture. Everything was nice and clean, and the 2 peralson bed was nicely made up with super soft sheets. Only the foldout bed was not made, and there were only towels for 2 people. No problem, this is not the first time a hotel forgets to set up the 3rd person. But as the sofabed was new, we couldn't get it open without a knife so we called the front office who sent somebody.
NOW that person did NOT know what they were doing. They fixed the sofabed so it could open, but would not take of the protective plastic. I get you want to protect new furniture, but that plastic is transport protection, not sleep protection, but ok, we leave the flimsy schrinkwrap on, and he gets us sheets and towels. 2 towels had grey smeers, the pillow filled halve it's cover, the blanket had a big hole, the sheet a red stain and he said the duvet was a topper to sleep on so you wouldn't notice the plastic. After he left us to make the bed ourselves, I made it work with extra clean sheets from the cleaners cart I had detected in the hallway. We were there for only one night, but I'm pretty sure the cleaning ladies would have made the bed how it was supposed to the next day.
All this to say that I would stay here again if I needed a hotel close to the airport :)
