Northside Hospital Duluth

I was referred to the main hospital for a ct scan stat and from the reception to the the CT room everyone was such a delight. Jade at the desk gave me a copy of my insurance card to carry with me since I only had a digital copy. Paul from the CT scan was so welcoming and comforting. He made me feel like I was in good hands. Great attitude from the beginning til the end. Dante (sp?) and Lizbeth were also very nice from the same department. I felt like they cared about me which is hard to find in my experience. Very hospitable group!

My mom had to have emergency surgery this Friday and let me just say our experience at Northside Duluth was great despite what we were going through. The entire staff was excellent from the receptionist to the surgeon. Dr. Hall is one of the best doctors I have ever came in contact with. Dr. Hall not only provided comfort during this difficult time and also assured us that our mom was in good hands which she was with Northside!! Thank you all so much for everything!!!

Love this hospital! The doctors, nursing staff and case managers on the 5th floor did an excellent job caring for my husband during the week he was admitted. I understand that the healthcare industry is not an easy place to work; however, the nursing staff clearly communicated the plan for the day and did their best to keep me and my husband informed. I’m thankful for them and the time they dedicated to my husband and will always choose this hospital to bring my family members.

I wish i could give this hospital 10 plus stars Literally! It saddens me to see so many negative reviews against the staff or Doctors, when I have never received anything then Less of Amazing Care from Joan Glancy now Northside Hospital. I have been coming to this ER for 30+ plus years and I have always received the Best!

I drove myself to the ER on January 10, 2024 in severe pain in my neck and back as well as with a severe burn to my Right side from me dropping hot water on me. The Checkin ppl are always on point and caring. I immediately saw the Triage nurses who were also nice, after getting my vitals, I Waited for about 30-45 minutes to go to the back. I can honestly say I never have to wait very long here at Northside Duluth. Once I got to the back my Nurse came straight back and assisted me, five minutes later the Dr. came in I expressed to him what i wanted done and why and within the next twenty minutes the MRI TECH came to get me, I was concerned that being that it would take a hour for them to scan that i would need something for pain to get me through. Let me just say my NURSE came to bring me pain meds and the 2 MRI TECHS were awesome. After my MRI my Doctor came back within 10 minutes of me being back in my room to inform me that i have some life threatening issues and the will be admitting me to Northside Duluth ASAP. The transporters came to pick me up and transported me to Northside Gwinnett and they were the greatest! I had major surgery on my neck 1/16/2024! Thank God for Dr. Bruner and his staff! I love Northside! Keep Striving & Reaching for the Stars!

I want to thank the staff at this location for taking the best care of me in the Ed, cardiology and recovery the nurses the doctor the technicians, cafeteria staff every one made me feel comfortable and cared for at this facility. Great staff caring staff. I am happy I went to the hospital when I did and grateful for my care team.

My experience was absolutely wonderful. I went to the ER due to a miscarriage and hemorrhaging as soon as i went in they took my info and sent me to a room No wait! Im so thankful for Dr. Torres and his wonderful staff they were all so nice brought me food warm blankets and my meds. Out of all the hospitals i been to for emergencies Northside has always been my top favorite because of the way they have treated me and addressed all my concerns also because they are very patient with you and they didn’t mind explaining it to me twice

Had my Colonoscopy the morning of January 31st.. I was honestly blown away by how nice the staff was, except the person at the registration desk. Not friendly and cold. They all explained each and every thing they were doing. Asked me if I was ok or cold, offering another blanket. They offered my friend some coffee or tea. We laughed and joked as it's a nervous experience to begin with. Dr. Tonya Rutledge did the procedure. She had done it for me 10 years ago. No polyps. All went well.

My emergency room nurse was Jaclyn and she was wonderful. When she rolled me over to the observation room I told her it would be difficult for any other nurse to provide me with her level of care and professionalism. I was right and wanted to go home after I was left in someone else’s hands from the Friday evening shift. I had a terrible experience with the evening nurse. I gave 5 stars because my experience with Jaclyn was so pleasant and professional it
made me feel better. Even though my evening nurse argued with me and said I’m not going to argue with you Black man. She burst the IV drip over me and the floor. No clean up and replaced my fluids 1hour 10 minutes later. 1 bad apple can’t spoil the bunch in this case. I would like to thank Jaclyn personally so I hope she reads this. I plan to send a card and gift. My morning nurse Shayla was great also. I see why the evening nurse never put her name on the board because I can only imagine the complaints she receives

Can not say enough good things about this hospital. My loved one was there. They were so good to her. They were very nice to us as well. Gloria in housekeeping what a sweetheart, every nurse kept us well informed.

This is one of the better hospitals in the area. They're always clean and polite. The emergency room is also always super fast. I've been a few times for emergencies and never had to wait more than 10 minutes or so.

This hospitals front office provides a smooth and painless registration process for new and existing patients. They spacious waiting areas with comfortable seeting, almost making you're at the hospital. It's one of several new Northside facilities in the Gwinnett County area, making it easy for patients to find closer facilities once they are done at the main hospital locations.

I am in Texas & my brother was hospitalized here. The Doctor & Nurses kept me informed. They are very busy trying to do their jobs. I appreciate everyone of them. 10⭐

My son Juan Diego Otiniano was hospitalized for 11 days in the clinical observation unit, floor T, room D016, and he is very grateful for the attention received from the doctors to the cleaning staff. We would love to remember the names of all the nurses who were there for him but I only remember Marilyn, D'yana; All the staff were very helpful during these difficult times. We are very grateful and hope you have a wonderful new year.

I recently went into the ED with what I thought was a minor problem, to being admitted for nearly a week due to having to have emergency surgery & a terrible, painful abscess infection. The kindness I experienced during my recovery was breathtaking. The countless nurses, Mrs. Yemi, and ALL of the incredible nurses, med techs, aide, phlebotomists (who can find a needle in a haystack, I’m a hard stick due to having some extra weight on me lol) & physicians MD Dunmoodi & MD Normula. These angels made sure every moment of my stay was comfortable, and that my healing took priority! Even made sure my prescriptions were ready at the pharmacy immediately after my discharge, got the text from CVS before I could even get in the car lol. If I could give them 10 ⭐ I would. I would recommend anyone who is a bit intimidated by hospitals to visit this Northside location, you won’t regret it. I hope the head of house knows just what a wonderful job they are doing when acquiring these special staff members and truly hope that they are recognized for making this place the safe space it was for me ❤🌸 many thanks to all of you, and may our creator bless you abundantly, above all you could ever ask or think of! This hospital is great, excellent staff and everyone is very caring, they even have a bilingual staff in the front eager to assist I have nothing but good to say and there was no wait time I was screen and went right in instead of hours at other locations.

On August 28 my wife an I went to the emergency room where I had an allergic reaction to something. My eyes, an lips were swollen and I had hives all over my body. When they saw me at the check in desk, they rushed me to the back with no hasatation an got on there their jobs. The doctors knew I had something serious an hooked me up to IV's to control my problems. What I thought was going to be a one night thing, turned into 3 days in the observation center. There my wife an I meet so outstanding staff back there. They were really concerned about my condition and took care of me around the clock. Every two an six hours making sure I had my meds in me an checking out my condition. They made us feel so safe an that we were in great hands. Even made my wife so comfortable an ask if she needed anything just call them. The joy that they brought to our room both shifts, was like sunshine coming. We were so confident that we were in great hands, I kind of forgot that I was ill. I fealt at home. I don't know about anyone else's stay there, but our stay was unforgettable. No words can explain how much we appreciate you all service, we Thank God for you all, for taking care of the community an doing such a great job at it. Even the financial advisor gave me information on payments and ways to pay and receive assistance in paying, so I didn't worry about that. But Really, we just want to say, THANK YOU SO MUCH AND WILL NEVER FORGET THE GREAT SERVICE YOU'VE GIVEN US FOR THOSE FEW DAYS. We really didn't want to leave, that's how much Love an care we felt from you all. Please keep doing what you all do, taking great care of people like me, because we really need you all. So from wife an I, THANK YOU AGAIN FOR BEING THERE.. NORTH SIDE DULUTH, YOU ALL ROCK!!!!!

All the staff and care team have been great taking care of my dad. They’ve been caring, helpful and thorough with my fathers issues. They explained his prognosis and options in detail. They have also been flexible with us spending the night to take care of our dad.

What an amazing hospital! I went in for an emergency hernia surgery. Didn't have problems with anyone. They saved my life. Dr. Hall is amazing. Thank you so much. Highly recommend. ++++++ exceptional services.

Amazing experience, they did a great job on my D&C the doctors were so nice & nurses were so helpful, they saved my life i almost bleed to death , im so very grateful for the staff !

I live right down the street from this hospital and I’ve been there a few times now, every time they’ve been amazing and very caring and thorough with the issue. I was just there yesterday and I was really sick, they took great care of me and treated me how they would a family member. Thank you to all the nurses, techs, doctors, front desk, and all staff for what you do.
