Generations Norcross Church

We went there with our daughter's family. It was
Their Christmas eve service. It was a very friendly church with a lot of young families.
The message was very well done and Biblical as well as the music all working together to bring home the importance of Christ's birth .

This place is a truly faithful, one in a 100,000, biblical, expositional, God fearing Church. They have a very strong sense of community, without having the con of judgementalism. I met the pastor personally the first day and continued (and am continuing) to develop a real relationship with him, and also the elders. Praise YHWH our God, the only God for Generations Norcross! I've been going for a year now, and I've continued to grow spiritually, significantly, thanks to the Holy Spirit and God's grace, being worked through Generations Norcross. They take the Lord's supper every Sunday, care about prayer, and have small groups, as well as even smaller groups of 3-5 people to truly cultivate fellowship and growth faithfully. They are non-denominational, but generally follow a fix of Baptist, Presbyterian, and Reformed Theology. Praise God for his work in Generations Norcross!

Community is enhanced and deepened when its members commit to regular and genuine transparency. Pastor James repeatedly emphasized "gospel, safety, and time." The good news of God's grace frees us from creating and maintaining our own identity, and this church allows for a safe space for its members to join together in combating sin and pursuing life in Christ. What has stood out to me about Generations is the aspect of time that they emphasize - that is, time and patience with each other as we allow the Holy Spirit to enact lasting transformation in our hearts rather than short lived, circumstantial reactions that fizzle out like New Year resolutions when our own self will fails. I also love that this church is small enough to where it is not overwhelming to get to know most people that attend consistently!

Generations Church is the place to get to know Jesus more, to learn in depth what Salvation is about and how we need to share the Gospel in our community and beyond.
Pastor James has been very consistent with the way he teaches and his focus is always Jesus! We have been part of Generations since 2015.

Biblical, hospitable, warm - those are the adjectives that I think of when I think of Generations Norcross. We have greatly benefited from the Biblical teaching we receive, and from the gospel-centered community. There are many ways to plug in and serve, whether serving at the church, the local community, or global missions. My husband and I both love the men’s and women’s Bible Studies, where we dig deep into God’s Word. All around, we love being part of the Generations family!

We love our church family. Generations is a place for our fears, uncertainty, and doubts to be overcome by the grace of God. We’re seeking to be a light in the darkness. I moved to Atlanta about a year and a half ago. After attending an Acts 29 church in KC, my husband and I were looking for something similar in our new city. We were blown away by the love and truth that is shared at this place! We have grown to call Generations home and are so thankful for this family!

It's been a beautiful thing watching Generations grow and mature in Christ through the years. Wise preaching of God's word combined with a group of believers sincerely seeking God's heart is a wonderful combination!

I've been coming to Generations for about 7 years, and frankly speaking it has allowed me and my family to establish ourselves in a community of believers who want to be active for the Lord. While it is growing, the sense of community and of loving each other has not been lost.

My husband and I have absolutely found our church home here!! The people are so welcoming, the preaching is always on point, and the community is like I’ve never experienced in another church.

I have been attending a very large Mega Church in Lawrenceville but was searching for something with greater depth and a friend shared about this church. I am beyond thrilled to be attending this church and am praying about becoming a member and committing to this church by becoming a member.
