Best Bakery

They have a variety of king cakes that are absolutely wonderful and they make them daily in house. I grabbed a loaf of bread that was still warm....OMG if you love warm bread, theirs is phenomenal! They have plain, turtle cheesecake, funky monkey, raspberry cream cheese and other varieties of king cakes. Best I have tried. You can also get pastries and pieces of king cake to go. The bakery is wonderful. The picture is the funky monkey king cake. Yummo!!

I'm from Houma and now work and live in the Gonzales area. We have a king cake contest at work. I knew I'd win with this bad boy. My coworkers gave this turtle cheese cake king cake 6/5 stars 🌟. It's a MUST have every season!!

Very friendly staff, willing to answer any questions about the food and dessert. The fudge brownie is AMAZING. So soft and chocolatey and gooey. The gingerbread cakes are good. The blueberry turnover is delicious. Try anything you want and I’m sure it’s amazing.

The sweet potatoe pies are to die for ! 1000/1000. I go like twice a week.

Best bakery really does have the best bread. Today we had Philly cheese steak poboys and everytime my family and I make Poboys we go to best bakery and buy some of their poboy buns. They always have the freshest bread that is the perfect texture and consistency for your most delicious sandwiches and don't forget about the chic da fon

Excellent local bakery

Everyone that claims to have french bread or po' boy bread should be ashamed of themselves if they don't use Best Bakery's bread. It the absolute best bread that anyone could ever use to compliment their meal.

Love this bakery, the pastries are exactly like from my childhood, sweet memories!!! I love t buy their bags of bread dough and fry them and serve with Steen's syrup!!

My Grandfather was a Master Baker in New Orleans and won awards for baking King Cakes. The King Cakes at Best Bakery kick it up a notch or two......They truly are the "BEST"

Got the Turtle cheese cake and loved it. Worth $30. Glad i googled the suggestion. Will return when i visit.
