Salt Lake Retina

Checking in was a breeze. Is a busy practice so you might not get as soon as you need to but we were lucky to score an earlier appointment. Doctor Douglas Mehr was awesome, and he fixed my wife’ eye in the same appointment. We are so happy her vision was back once the issue was solved and did not have to wait months. I strongly recommend this place.

Helpful and pleasant people to get you scheduled and in to see the doctor. I had two retinal detachments repaired 2 years ago. Dr Davis did a great job. No issues since then. I get a yearly checkup to make sure things are still good. I highly recommend Salt Lake Retina should you need it, hopefully you won’t!

They helped my son get in quickly and were so wonderful to work with. Especially Dr. Gee! He is the best! We love him. He took even more time when the procedure made my son nauseous and about to faint. Got him water, cold cloth on his forehead, laid him back in the chair and waited til his color returned. Such kindness and great care.

Super care here with Fantastic eye Doctors. Wonderful staff. They have really been taking Great care of my wife.

Dr Gee is amazing. Not only are his skills without match but his ability to diagnose, explain, and ensure patient understanding is excellent. Would recommend him to anyone.

Great Service!! I was referred to Salt Lake Retina by my eye doctor for an ultrasound. They were able to get me in for an appointment the next day. They were very busy when I went in, the front desk was quick to get everybody checked in. I only had to wait an extra 5 minutes to get in to the doctor and he had me out the door in record time. The whole office was well organized and professional and I would recommend them 100 % percent

Dr. Gee was so so amazing!! I came in after being sent home from the ER. He took some tests and he found that I had an ocular occlusion (a blood clot in my retina artery) so basically an eye stroke at 22! So as you can imagine I was extremely scared but he was great and took such good care of me and called ahead to the ER to tell them he was sending me back. And sure enough I was seen pretty much straight away. I’m super grateful and would 10000% recommend Dr. Gee. (: The techs were also great and super nice!

I was visiting SLC from Washington state and had a very disconcerting eye issue suddenly pop up. I needed to drive back home but had to see a retinal specialist first to determine the cause and treatment of my condition. Salt Lake Retina was able to squeeze me in on very short notice. The staff was very friendly and professional and focused on my needs and health. The exam I received from Dr. Gee was very thorough and he did a great job helping me understand my condition and the treatment options. His “bedside manner” was the best of any doctor I’ve ever encountered! They even provided me with referral information for a follow up examination back home. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Gee, his staff, and this office. They really helped me out in a difficult situation.

Dr Mehr and staff are Exceptional. They bent over backwards to see me in an emergency. I was given great care through out the whole experience.

Dr.Douglas is wonderful my 85 year old sister has been seeing her for more the two years he operated her and has the best experience highly recommend him! He is compassionate and caring.

I have seen Dr. Mehr for several years. He and his staff are wonderful. They have saved my eyesight. I am forever grateful.

I love Dr Mehr! He is really good. The only thing I don’t like is the wait. There were 18 people in their waiting room for him and the other doctor.

The office staff is very efficient. Office is very clean. Dr Mehr is the BEST. There are times there is a wait time but not often. With three Drs there can't help but be waiting time now and then. Dr Mehr is so good to answer questions and left me know everything he is going to do

Very little wait time. They were ready for me even before I finished updating my paperwork. Everyone was so patient and helpful.

Best retina office ever! Mehr is amazing, been seeing him for 14 years... He came in on a Sat to check me on an emergency bases and helped save my vision!!!

Despite a mix up in setting up the
Appointment, they were very accommodating to get my mother seen.

Best eye care around. You won’t find a more skilled and caring group of surgeons and support staff anywhere.

Was very impressed with the service and how kind they treated my 97 year old grandma. They spoke directly to her and explained everything they were doing (even though you have to speak loudly for her to hear! 😄) Dr Gee told her how she was doing and made recommendations for vitamins and told her about a study recently published about her condition. Explained if it looked promising they'd contact her about it. She felt included and respected during her care while they took the time she needed.
