People that work here are some of the kindest people you will find.

This is a damn good company to work for. Probably the best among all poultry plants in Gainesville. During your first couple of weeks they will move you around to see where YOU are the most comfortable and happy. Everyone matters here, they would rather keep their employees rather than replace them which is rare in factories. There were a few things I didnt like about the company though. Not too many people speak English, so training is hard unless you're bilingual or a visual learner. If you work 1st shift you have to be there at 7am but sometimes we wouldn't start work until 9 or 10 if they were cleaning and you weren't allowed to leave. There are A LOT of employees there so sometimes I felt a little overwhelmed and crowded. The pay isnt terrible probably looking at about 400 for m-f and if you have to work Saturday 480-500 a week. Personnel SUCKS except for jose in orientation and the super sweet cute lady that takes your application in the first building.

Got unloaded very quickly.

Delivered corn oil. No signs of where to go or what to do. You have to hunt someone down. Slow unload, but easy. Staff was pretty decent, once you find them.

No body around you have to go searching for someone to unload your truck. Smelly place tight dock when cars parked there.

Since March 2019 they have been a noise problem with the improper installation of cooling motors and exhaust stacks. While improved somewhat this is still heard over 3 miles away and it does interrupt sleep. Horrible.
