First Pentecostal Church of Purvis

I am new to this area, I have a relationship with my Lord, Savior, Waymaker, Miracle working, comforter, JESUS CHRIST, THE LIVING GOD. I am on the wrong side of heaven to be perfect! Praise God I've had so much unwanted baggage tossed into the "sea of forgetfulness" people just would not believe! I believe in ONE LORD ONE FAITH ONE BAPTISM! I BELIEVE THERE IS NEITHER MALE NOR FEMALE, GREEK NOR JEW, BOND OR FREE BUT ALL ARE ONE IN THE BODY OF CHRIST! I believe HE is STILL THE GREAT I AM and will be long after our minds can comprehend! I look forward to being "chastised" by an anointed and elected of God, for me it's reassurance of his unfailing love for me, ...For he chastised those he loves....ALL OF US! I go to God's house for instruction, the truth, my salvation, to secure my future and just at the top of my list of reasons...to give humbly the Praise, Honour and Glory to my creator, best friend, my Father MY Redeemer and the ONLY LIVING GOD...JESUS! I have read reviews, I'm not easily influenced by the majority, however OH HOW I WANT TO SEE HIM FOR ETERNITY with that majority. I love my home Church, God knows I DO and ALWAYS WILL! I am not a young woman and my vision is poor, due to radiation but that's another testimony for another time. I have prayed and I am praying still for GODS WILL, HIM TO CHOOSE THE PEW I SIT ON AND THE BUILDING WHERE WORSHIP IS UNLEASED RAW UNBRIDLED AND PASSIONATE FROM PURE HEARTS AND CLEAN RAISED HANDS COMING FROM THE MOUTH OF BOLD ARMOURED UP WARRIORS OF PRAYER AND BELIEVERS! I am pleased to say, without a visit by the Grace shed on me, I shall walk into the HOME of worship. BLIND to every soul, I am NOT your judge, merely a hungry, doer and hearer of TRUTH. I plan to join in (as I usually do) and do all I can to help bring the Power and Glory of Our God down! I will support and back up ANY PASTOR that preaches GODS WORDS and not his! IM HUNGRY IM COMING TO EAT IVE ALREADY TASTED AND I SEE HE IS GOOD! I DONT NEED TO BE ENTERTAINED IM COMING TO ENTERTAIN THE HOLY GHOST! A side note in closing, I'd LOVE to say IF we look hard enough we WILL find imperfections, thank God those imperfections have shown up in a place of HEALING! IM LOOKING FOR MINE...FOR WHAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR ME! You do what you come to do, I FOLLOW JESUS AND THE VESSEL HE CHOSE TO SPEAK THROUGH! Now, yes I talk alot for those who would have never guessed! I am looking forward to seeing, sharing time and "sitting at the table" with each of you, SEE YALL SUNDAY JUST BEFORE 10 am. If you want typical, ordinary, run-of-the-mill church, then you can drive right past First Pentecostal Church of Purvis. The Pastor is genuinely concerned about the members, and visitors of this assembly. While holding fast to the standards, and doctrines of the truth of God's Word, this body of people are dedicated to creating an atmosphere of praise, worship, and prayer that attracts the power of God, and everyone displays a friendly, and kind spirit. So if you want to find God, look at 18 Elliot Circle in Purvis Mississippi. He's there. And by the way, I'm a visitor from Missouri, and no, that's not my home church. Unbiased, but undeniable. Go to this church.

For those that are tired of living the way they are living, those that know there is more to Christianity than what they have experienced this is the place for you. First Pentecostal Church takes the Bible for what it says. We do not look for an easier, more comfortable way, just live and have church like the Bible instructs us to. The service schedule is Sunday school starting at 10:00, Sunday night service at 6:30 and Wednesday nights at 7:30. Please join us we would love to have you.

Just a great church all around. They are truly people of God. The pastor is an absolute man of God.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I don't know how some of the congregation members are even able to review this place, since they aren't allowed internet. Let me make it abundantly clear, that this place is a cult. There are rules that churches require and then there is this place where you will be judged harder than God himself would judge you. This is no love in this place. Only manipulation, control, and the instilling of fear.

This is the rudest church I have ever come in contact with. If you are new here. They look at you and judge you like you have 3 heads or something. If you are not dressed up in expensive clothing, they judge you. They are rude to passersby, and if you make the mistake of trying to turn around in their driveway, they will tell at you and threaten to call the cops on you, actually calling them in a few instances!
