Leonard J. Chabert Medical Center

As a Nurse at a neighboring hospital I prefer Chabert to any of the hospitals you are treated with respect and like a person. The Nurses are wonderful and the doctors are very good. It’s funny how people always downplay Chabert I’m from NY and had now idea about the past history of Chabert but I must say the nurses care the doctors care the ancillary staff care. The complaint I have is the food. Sorry 😞

I had an emergency visit for a hand laceration and my experience was one to remember. The staff in the ER handled my case with dignity and professionalism all the way from Heather taking personal info to the nurses and doctor Nick handling the actual injury with care and precision.
Although I hope to never have another emergency, if I do, then I would be happy to go there again 👍🏻

Many thanks to the awesome ED staff at Leonard J. Chabert Medical Center. We had a scare today when my daughter had a pump issue at school and her blood sugar climbed to 560.
They were able to get her back to normal without being transferred to Children's, which is a first.
Staff made her feel comfortable and safe and the physician, Dr Paul did an amazing job communicating everything that was going on, as well as coordinating with her endocrinologist.
I couldn't ask for better treatment. Great job all around. ❤

Absolutely the best service I could ask for. Dr.T and the entire staff were excellence at it's finest. They were polite, friendly, and thorough. I was in excellent hands at the ER and they made sure that I was safe and not in an emergency situation. Thank you all so much.

I'm so glad I was able to have this doctor and nurses to help me with my situation and explain so much to me that I didn't know so best hospital and doctors I visit yet thank you all and they treat you like family better than family great staff thank you all keep up the good work. I wish the Morgan City one was as good as y'all some of the staff are like y'all but a lot of them is not so thank you for the good experience

I been going to this medical center for many years . I have no complaints , everyone treated me with respect and concern and all staff was Professional at their job . Highly Recommend

I love the doctors, nurse practitioners, and nurses, they are knowledgeable and compassionate. Always a pleasure going there, they are thorough and put you in touch with the right specialists. The wait time is really quick.

When in Louisiana and you have to be hospitalized this is the best hospital to be in. I loved and enjoyed there hospitality. Everyone there even people visiting patients were just so helpful, nice, friendly,and such a great environment. Such Delightful, sweet, kind hearted. Louisiana people are just the most loving, caring, and kind people who just love going out of their way to help and make you feel like home when you are at your worst in life. Next time I visit Louisiana I'm definitely going to go say hello to the staff on the 5th floor. Thank you all again so very much. Marla

I was a emergency admit and had emergency surgery. I had never been here before but will definitely go back. The nurses on the floor (Logan, Raven, Michelle’) went above and beyond for me. Always there to make me feel comfortable to explain things and just to be there to make sure I was ok. The surgery department were beyond amazing and wonderful very attentive and Very patient and helpful and just loving to me!!

Haven't been there for many years but I must say the staff are wonderful from check in to doing my tests I was amazed at how quick everything went they are doing a wonderful job very professional.

Vivian took my phone call when I called today looking for my uncle who had an accident. We live out of state so we aren't familiar with the location of the hospitals etc. We called around trying to find him and everyone was really kind and helpful. I'm leaving this review because Vivian was so helpful. She was cordial on the phone, very kind, understanding, and at the same time very helpful and kind to the people walking in asking for help. She helped direct them while looking for my uncle in their system. She advised me that University Medical Center may be the place to call, but also said I should call the ambulance company that could have picked him up to find out where they took him and that's how we ended up finding him. I am so grateful to you Vivian for taking the time to give us options that could help us. You made a difference today and believe you will continue to do so. Short to no wait time for blood work. Everyone working was Profesional and friendly. I'd recommend this hospital over any other close by not only because of great customer care they are willing to work on your treatment plan with input from you!! Parking is right outside the door which makes for a quick walk to the inside. Mask are required until the mandate is lifted which brings peace of mind. If your looking for a care with quick and efficiency this is the one for you. Its no longer the charity hospital its the peoples hospital serving all

Best doctors and nurses I've delt with EVER. Very professional, very coordinated, and everyone here did an excellent job. I recommend Chaberts Medical Center to anyone. Thanks to the doctors and nurses who helped me thru this. Some super heroes don't wear capes the wear scrubbs

THESE PEOPLE SAVED MY LIFE!! After years of lower back pain, endless tests and poor or⁶ incorrect diagnosis and treatment, I came in for pre-op for a urological issue. I had not been gone from the Hospital an hour when I received a call stating that I needed to return at 8 the following morning. Upon entering the office I was told that there were some irregularities in my urine sample I had given and was referred upstairs for an x-ray, and MRI. I returned the following morning and after being seated was shown a monitor. My eyes immediately fixated on a large black spot on what I thought it was an image of my kidney. I asked the doctor is that what I think it is he says what are you think it is I said cancer he said yes. It turned out to be a 12 CM Mass which should have metastasized at 5 cm moving into my lungs. My lungs are clear and I was told that I needed surgery and they would try to do part of the kidney probably the whole kidney had to be removed. This is a Wednesday morning. The surgeon that would do this type of procedure had a previous engagement that weekend which he canceled in order to do my nephrectomy on Friday morning. The surgery was a success and two and a half years later I still have no other cancer in my body. I can never fully express my gratitude to the staff, urologist and the surgeon that were involved in my care. Thank you for my life.

I never have to wait very long. All my questions are answered in a way that relieves my anxiety and the staff is the most professional I've ever dealt with! I highly recommend Chabert to friends, family and everyone else!

My NP Everett Talbot is very professional and very pleasant. He has my confidence in the care given. I highly recommend him if you need a primary care giver.

I highly recommend Dr Chad Duplantis who I was seen by in the ER. Very knowledgeable and a very kind person. I left there confident of his diagnosis and treatment. He answered EVERY question I had.

This hospital has come a long way since back in the day . They have made some significant changes & I don't mind going there now . I wasn't there long & I like the doctor I saw too !
