Ochsner Health Center - Luling

Dr. Kimberly Dalmau was so kind, so thorough, and so attentive to me. She came in having already reviewed my case. She didn’t waste my time by asking me questions that I’d already answered with the nurse or that were already answered in my chart. She didn’t waste my time by silently typing everything on the computer during our conversation, either. She maintained eye contact, making me feel like I was a valued patient who was fully capable of understanding her insights and plan of care for me. She took her notes with pen and paper which kept our conversation going, rather than on computer, making me feel like I need to be quiet while everything is typed in. All of the above is sadly very uncommon, in my experience. I can already tell she is a true medical CARE provider. And most importantly, she made me feel like I had VALID CONCERNS instead of like I was a hysterical woman!

My husband and I were so impressed with how organized the process was and how pleasant and professional the staff handled every person there. The woman who checked us in was just delightful. We both were in and out, including the 15 minute wait, before our first scheduled appointment at 6 pm. I'm sure the staff was tired having worked a long day, but you never would have known it! Well done, Luling Staff!

The staff was great, nice and friendly as always. I could not have asked for a better experience, the nurse who gave my vaccine was great. Wait time was very short in and out in about 20 minutes. Keep up the good work!!!

They were extremely professional, efficient, kind & comforting. "They" refers to all staff. From the moment I walked in & had my temp checked to the moment I walked out, they were amazing. Genuinely, I wish all hospital visits were like that. It was like a textbook scenario played out in real life. In & out in under 30 minutes and that included the 20 minutes surveillance period after the vaccine. Surreal experience...

Parking is a little tight but the staff is very friendly and I loved Dr Dalmau. She made me feel very comfortable, was thorough, and helped put my mind at ease while still taking me seriously.

My experience at Ochsner - Luling was the exceptional. From my arrival to leaving, every person that I interacted with was very professional, caring, and helpful. The system in place was the best I have encountered. There was minimal waiting time from my entry into the facility until departure. I am especially pleased with Ochsner- Luling because I am a resident of St. Charles Parish and live minutes from the facility. Many thanks and gratitude to the management and staff!

I scheduled an appointment at St. Charles Hospital in Boutte for my first Covid vaccine shot. The whole process was smooth, organized and went like clockwork. All the staff members were pleasant, professional and helpful. I received several texts with information so I knew exactly what to do, where to go and what to expect. Very good experience!

From the time I entered the building to the time I exited the building, I felt comfortable and safe. Being able to complete some of the registration process online was very helpful. The person at the registration desk was very pleasant and quickly entered my info. The person administering the vaccine was very pleasant and answered any questions I had. Thanks to all the staff there!!!

The visit for my COVID Vaccine was very organized and Quick. Everyone was extremely nice and caring. It was a pleasure to use St Charles hospital in Luling. Thank you Care Givers for all you do. Our. Community is lucky in having the best team available.

They were awesome!! I went in needing stitches. They were so fast all while making me feel comfortable and at home during the visit. The doctor was swift, yet excellent! I only wish I could recall his name so I could thank him again! STRAIGHT A',s in my book!!!! 😎👍💜

The care I received at Ochsner was top notch. The wait time was minimal and all of the employees I encountered were very pleasant and helpful. The nurse- Alvin Robinson was so professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. He made my experience such a positive one. I will continue to have Ochsner address all of my health care needs.

Dr. Fabacher is one of the best doctors I've seen in a while. He actually listens to you and explains everything on a easy to manner. From what I can see, a doctor that cares for his patients.

I was very impressed with the way St. Charles Parish and Oschner worked so well together when I received my first and second dose of Pfizer vaccine . Everyone wore masks and we were all social distanced so I was very comfortable from start to finish. Everyone was very efficient and I was in and out in record time. Again Thank You so much ...

From the moment I got to the front test, then register at the desk. Then, the nurse did my test for a procedure. They were all welcoming and engaging. I’m happy to know this Hospital is in my hometown. Thank You for your service.

I went in yesterday for my first dose covid vaccine. Everyone was extremely nice and the whole process flowed like a well oiled machine. I’m very happy that I chose St Charles Parish Hospital / Ochsner Health Center-Luling.

They listened to my concerns and discomforts when no one else did. I had diverticulitis and c diff and while at the main campus and Kenner I was sent . No testing no medication no nothing!! This hospital was wonderful to me. The drs and nurses was awesome.. absolute bed side manner 100%

Greeted with a friendly welcome. Easy and quick checkin. Saw doctor without waiting long. Nurse and doctor very professional and easy to talk too. All my questions answered without feeling like my appointment was rushed.

I called to inquire about a new ophthalmology appointment either in the Luling or Destrehan locations of Ochsner and to establish a patient physician relation in the St Charles Parish for my eyes. Although there is no ophthalmologist located at either location the representative was extremely professional and helpful during this inquiry! It is absolutely wonderful to speak to someone as knowledgeable and professional.

Just received 2nd Covid injection at St. Charles Parish Hospital/Oschner - a very well-coordinated experience - staff was friendly, respectful and professional; process was well organized, covid-distanced, and well-timed. Including the check-in, injection, and safety-check waiting time after vaccination, I was in and out in under 25 minutes.
