Community Corrections - District 21 Office

My brother-in-law has been attempting to reach his probation officer for over a month now. I decided to try and help him but have seen the same results. We call, leave voicemails, and never hear anything back. They have an additional number on their VM that we call and nobody ever answers. It just rings until eventually the line cuts off (no voicemail option). I have even called the courthouse and they are not sure why these numbers are not producing results. Where are the officers or the operators? I would assume that if a person didn’t call or appear for a meeting with their probation officer they would be in a lot of trouble. Seems highly unfair that the probation officers can go MIA for as long as they please when they have a job they should be doing. I am extremely irritated at this point with the entire process and offices involved in Winston Salem. At this point we are hiring a lawyer to get involved and handle this ordeal.

If anyone does know why there isn’t anybody to answer the phones or can point me in the right direction for resolving this issue, I would greatly appreciate the feedback!
