The staff is AMAZING! We checked in 1/26/24 ... we can't not say enough good things ...we travel often with our 2 large pitbulls and this hotel was the most accommodating nicest personable people ...very clean rooms clean downtown area ... honestly it was the staff from the check in to the valet doorman the manager the bartender it was one of the best experiences!

Nice room, comfortable linens. Exceptionally quiet considering the downtown location. Would have loved a small refrigerator in the room. Front desk attendant Blaze is wonderful, kind, and most understanding! Thanks for your smile and the hospitality, Blaze!

The team at the front desk was always so warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect for exploring Winston-Salem's downtown area on foot. I also really appreciated the commitment to displaying art throughout the hotel! I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area.

Very nice hotel, staff was very polite and the restaurant/ lounge in the ground level was amazing. Try the monte Cristo sandwich 🥪 😋 it was wonderful !!!

Summary-

I absolutely enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Indigo! Upon arriving you will notice that parking very difficult. You’ll want to use the valet. Check in was quick and easy. I felt welcomed and at home. Restaurant and bar occupied the entirety of the lobby. The guest floor was vibrant yet quite quiet. The room was spectacular. Room 506 offered a corner view to the north and east and got plenty of sunlight. Large shower and tasteful bathroom decor. Decor throughout the room was tasteful and fitting to a historic building without sacrificing on modern amenities. The original 1920s flooring did squeak when you walked on it which may be bothersome to some, however it did not bother me as I was the only occupant. No other noise was heard above or beside me. The bed was comfortable and room was clean. Not a speck of dust to be found. I absolutely enjoyed my stay and if the need to visit Winston Salem returns, I’ll be sure to come back to Hotel Indigo.

Great location, but no parking. They have valet until midnight. The hotel is very nice. The bar when you walk in is gorgeous! The room we had, had a view. The hotel vibe is eclectic with vibrant colors. The room was clean, hard wood floors, on the smaller size for the price but it was very nice. We didn't have a dog, but they are a dog friendly hotel, with treats in the lobby for your fur babies. I would stay there again.

Fabulous hotel. Only stayed 1 night but would have happily stayed longer. The hotel is very clean and smells great. The rooms were a great size with very tall ceilings and the beds were super comfy. Very conveniently located downtown and staff was very friendly. There is a restaurant/bar downstairs that looked very nice.

The location in downtown Winston-Salem is a bit rough for driving and parking. A special shout-out to Amanda at the service desk, Cat at the bar, all the Savanahs in the restaurant. Great staff all. We have stayed other places in that city, but this will be the one we return to.

Stayed here for 1 night to celebrate New Years Eve downtown. What a surprise this hotel was!! The lobby was fantastic, the bar and restaurant looked great. We did not use the bar or restaurant but we will use them and stay here again next year and buy the package. The room we had was fantastic! 12 foot ceilings, 8 foot doors, and real hardwood floors!! This was beyond my expectations for downtown Winston-Salem! I even loved the way they hid the ice machine behind a door in a cabinet, just made a really clean look to the floor. We stayed on the 6th floor. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to stay downtown well worth it. We walked to Thai restaurant, then walked to Tates Cocktails for a few drinks, then the Mellenium center for the New Years Party. Was easy walking to anywhere downtown.

Fab hotel. Loved everything about it - the decor, the staff, the service, the food, the gym, the walk-to-everything location, the easy peasy check-in/check-out... everything was nice, new, clean, smooth, excellent. Most pleasant stay I've had in years. Can't say enough good things about their bartender Dakota - super friendly, useful advice, helped me out with my unusual breakfast requests. Thank you for a truly comfortable stay away from home.

My husband and I stayed 3/3-3/4 left on the 5th. From the beginning to the end of our stay was excellent, we felt really welcome. The hotel is beautiful and clean, we stayed at a lot of hotels but this one was beautiful from the lobby to the room. Kudos to Elisa and Sascha at the front desk were fantastic great customer service also kudos to Steve, Jonathan and Olive at the restaurant, lounge very friendly and sociable. Also kudos to Kathryn head of laundry was very helpful and pleasant she showed us the whole hotel. Lindsey director of sales and Cole in sales were very nice to us also. We had a fantastic time and great experience. I would stay there again if I'm in the area. We stayed in Harrisburg PA.

Amanda was the sweetest!!!

She was super accommodating and remembered us by name! It’s hard to find quality hotels that allow dogs and this was far beyond our expectations.

Zaire was also very sweet and easy to talk to.

The showers are extra big and comfortable. The decor makes you feel like a movie star.

In ALL my years of travel ( many) Ive never walked on hotel floors bare foot until now.

We stayed here the first weekend that this hotel opened (April 27, 2019) and it is absolutely beautiful! The room was gorgeous and thoughtfully decorated and the attention to guest comfort was obvious...the bed and linens are pure luxury . Service was excellent. The Sir Winston Wine Loft downstairs has amazing drinks and food. We will definitely be back!

This place is amazing. I would Stay here a million times over. Staff was amazing. Great bar down stairs. Walking distance to everything downtown. Beds where like sleeping on clouds. 2 glass of wine and you will be walking up in the morning ready to go explore the day.

As part of a food-service seminar. The hotel is beautiful staff is professional. The group for the seminar had dinner at the hotel last night and it was well done and professionally provided. We would recommend if you are in Winston-Salem to stay at this hotel.

Friday night and it was my first visit to this bar in a beautiful hotel seated in downtown Winston Salem. I had a few drinks and an appetizer with friends. The bartender, Chris, was the quintessential bartender. He was incredibly personable, a great listener, clean with an attention to detail, and exhibiting more than enough talent crafting beautiful cocktails often with a little flare, all while seeming to be aware of his surroundings at every moment. Our appetizer, Fried Green Tomatoes, topped with a savory sauce was amazing and truly stood up to its reputation as a sumptuous southern dish. It was surprisingly light but would still satisfy you if you weren't looking for a full meal. I'm so glad I stopped into The Hotel Indigo!

An absolute charm. Beautiful downtown hotel located in the historic Pepper Building. Impeccable service, top notch restaurant with a very helpful staff.
