This was an absolutely fabulous experience. The outdoor and open indoor seating felt so fresh and airy with a wonderful ethnic feel. You could imagine being on a streets side cafe in some exotic locality. The food was spot on with a wide array of tacos and some specialty dishes. The menu was not extensive, but I felt this lent them to be perfect at the offerings they had. That said, I think there would be something for everyone. We had the queso and some street tacos with the birria and barbacoa really standing out as incredible. I must say the staff was beyond friendly and attentive. As a side note, Tuesday is 2 dollar tacos. Give this place a try!

The atmosphere, food and service was top notch. I walked here two times for meals with my two sons. I stayed at a. Close by Airbnb a few blocks away. I love the outdoor dining as well. The restaurant is a former home turned into a great place to dine. Parking is limited. Next time I am visiting Houma again-I’ll come back. The owner was nice enough to change the tv to the Jaguar football game being played.

Omg!! The food was amazing! Me, my daughter and wife were so freaking impressed with the flavor and service! The very nice lady that sat us and served us was so awesome!!! I'll tell everyone about this place.

Love the atmosphere & food is always great. Today I had shrimp, barbacoa & birria tacos & all were great. Berrian tacos were not too greasy like I've had at other places.

Excellent lunch meal. I had the beef burrito, and my wife had chicken fajitas. Large portions and tasty. Great outdoor atmosphere. I just wish I wasn’t here on my lunch break so that I could have tried out one of those yummy-looking margaritas.

The food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was laid back. I did sit outside they had fans as well. I did go around evening time. The waitresses as well the hostess was super friendly. Over all great place to try!

A wonderful, small Mexican cafe nestled off the beaten path in a neighborhood that’s undergoing a bit of rejuvenation. Indoor and outdoor seating. The food is next level and authentic, but served with a gourmet flair. I cannot say enough about this little gem in the heart of Houma.

This place was absolutely amazing. The food was hot and fresh. I ordered 3 different types of tacos Birria, Barbacoa and Al Pastor and each other was full of flavor the Birria was definitely my favorite. Food was delicious simple as that. Of course ordered a margarita and it did not disappoint me at all! Other places I’ve ordered margaritas from and they are either to heavy with liquor or the mix is all wrong. At papi they make them just right! Salsa and chips also was very good as well. Best tacos I’ve ever had!! I will be back regularly and definitely will be telling more people about this little hidden gem.

I’ve been coming to Houma for a little over a decade and Mexican food was something I wasn’t pleased with until now. Food was delicious, customer service was great! Margaritas were tasty, just needed and I added an extra shot, but nothing to complain about. The birria tacos were good, the meat was seasoned well and very tender. The queso had a very nice pepper kick. I’ll be back every time I visit Houma!!

The Birria Tacos are amazing. I mean the onions & cilantro was FRESH! I don't really care for onions but man, I ate everything. The quesadilla was just wow! First time eating here & I loved it. Will be back & highly recommand it everyone. Such a clean & friendly place. Stuff was very helpful

Very nice authentic flavors in a cozy pleasant environment with outdoor and indoor dining. Carne asada is my favorite and everyone including me loves the margaritas. Thanks guys for bringing this new gym to our town

BEST PLACE EVER!!! You really need to try this place. One time and you will go back. SUPER CLEAN, friendly staff and delicious food. The whole experience was so nice!!!! Did I mention so super clean, and again food is great. Came out hot and perfect!!!! You will not be disappointed it is so good.

Stopped in for a quick lunch, tacos are about the best I've ever had. Churros were amazing too. 5 stars!

Great atmosphere and the food was delicious and quick. The margaritas are HUGE and extremely tasty! Saturday nights they have a live band and it's so much fun!

Jordyn was our waitress and she was absolutely a joy. So polite and on time with everything.I have recently came back and got her name because I recognized her face. That’s her! Simply awesome service
