Our burgers were excellent.
Just exactly what I would expect a simple & delicious homemade burger patty to be.

There was a small problem with our order but it didn’t detract from the outstanding service or the quality of the food.

Service was excellent fast and friendly.

We will be back.

Pork cooked on Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays....the best eastern NC BBQ I have had. The cheese burgers are fresh and cooked to order, again, awesome.
I was born and raised in New Bern NC but live in SC now. When I come this way I will stop even when I'm not hungry....yes, it's that good.

This is my favorite Bacon Cheeseburger in North Carolina and my favorite NC BBQ. Do not pass this place up. Incredibly tasty is an understatement. 10/10. It's insanely good.

I’m not a huge fan of cheese on burgers but the pictures looked so good I tried one and it was great. Everything served hot and fast. Service is great. We had burgers and fries inside and apple turnovers to go.

We are on the way to the beach, down from Richmond and love NC vinegar based BBQ. On a whim we pulled in the Ken’s Grill at about 1:20 on Saturday. Every table had been occupied moments earlier. Every table was bused in under 5 minutes. We ordered a ‘snack tray’ described as pork and slaw. I never expected the large portion they served alongside a few tasty hush puppies. The best tasting snack ever!!! Sweetest servers and friendly kitchen folks too. So happy we stopped here as our first beach vacation lunch.

Are you kidding? This place is great!!! Food, small bbq plate was more than a human should eat. Bbq was spicy and delicious. Side, were plentiful and great. If your going by here, you gotta stop.

We went on a recommendation from a friend and were pleased with the experience. It is always a good confirmation when the parking lot is full. Nothing fancy, just plenty of good food at a good price. The server seemed new and we had to flag her down for refills, but otherwise it was exactly what you would expect to find at a good local grill place. The servings of the Pork Barbecue Plate were generous and tasty. I wish it were closer to us.

Ken's Grill is one of eastern North Carolina's best places for any day. The laid-back Southern atmosphere with the best food you could ever buy. Today was barbecue sandwiches and pig skin on the side. Hands down could not ask for a better meal or better service.

Had the best hamburger steak that I’ve ever had. Plan on stopping here again !

Anytime I'm near Ken's around lunch time on a Friday I have to stop for a bowl of fish stew, since it is only available on Fridays. Once it's gone that's it for the day. The bowl comes filled to brim with plenty of fish, potatoes and eggs in a red base that includes bacon. Served with hush puppies and/or sliced white bread. Breakfast is also good. I had scrambled eggs with 4 big strips of bacon, grits and a biscuit. If you don't like country food served on disposable plates Ken's may not be for you. It is for me.

It is very delicious and it was served in a timely manner
His bbq is served on Wednesday and Saturday
But if he got frozen bbq on hand you can get it at anytime

One of my favorite places to get a burger. The have the best one around in my opinion. I used to eat there with my great uncle when I was a boy and it hasn't changed a bit. Still the same great food they have always served. Piping hot right to your table.
