Meshuggah Cafe

Looking for a hearty breakfast and well made coffee to set me up for full day on the Loop and surrounding area, and this place hit it on both. Had the Bruno on everything bagel with extra bacon and it was chock full…maybe even over generous on the eggs, but I was happy about that. Chilled atmosphere made even better by the eighties tunes they put on whilst I was there.

Great place to catch a bite to eat and drink a coffee or tea and hang out. The sandwiches are really tasty and the herbal ambrosia chai drink was delicious. They have plenty of seating with more upstairs and a great vibe with art on wall. Love the painting with the squirrel riding a bicycle being run over by a car. I would buy it if it wasn’t $1800.

I live just around the corner and I cannot believe I haven't been here yet! Went looking for a quick coffee and pastry this morning and tried Meshuggah (mesh-oo-ga). We ate-in instead and although could only spare 15 min before an appointment, we found a where's Waldo book on the game shelf to keep us entertained while waiting on our food, which only took a couple minutes. And boy was that #birdznest THE BEST BREAKFAST DISH I'VE EVER HAD! + a Thai iced coffee... 😘 = heaven. All employees were kind, friendly, happy. Do not pass this place up!
p.s. Even if it looks full, there is more seating up the stairs by the game shelf.

Lovely cafe at the loop. I had the Sasha smoothie, it was really fresh and tasty! The staff were super friendly - the service was superb. Loved their cookies and I’m saying this as a person who is not into cookies, so you know how good their cookies are! Will definitely go again and chill there!

It’s a cozy place with great coffee and delicious food! They even have a communal art journal, for costumers to draw whatever they like! They have board games as well. The ambience is very calm too and excellent for studying.

This is my go to breakfast place in this area. Decor is very cool. They accommodate greatly to gluten allergy and had many options. Ya know how usually you are like let’s get brunch and a coffee and something small to eat will be $20? Not here! Staff is all super nice and the owner will come by with a cute dog.

I've been searching for good places to study and I think I finally found my home. From their made to order food to their fun, but relaxed atmosphere, everything about this place just flowed. The food and drink are well worth the price. I got an egg sandwich (which was delicious!!) and could only finish half.

PARKING TIP: you have to pay to park during the week, however, I found parking on Eastgate further down that was free. Try looking around before agreeing to pay.

I had to stop myself from ordering a second breakfast. Very delicious. The staff was lovely.

Meshuggah has become almost an everyday stop for me now. Their food is great, especially their yogurt parfaits - which are made fresh to order.

The service is also amazing! The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and kind to everybody.

The décor uniquely fits a coffee shop theme. Everything is very clean, and the ambiance is always very relaxing and enjoyable.

Super cute place with a homey atmosphere. Food is fresh, my bfs bagel came out pipping hot. I got the salmon and it was fresh and delicious. Portions are plenty and bagels come out looking gorgeous! thank you

Salmon on bagel? Yes please! These folks were working so hard in the back to accommodate the huge crowd and they were very kind, despite the busyness. Its dog friendly as well, so we got to pet a couple charming dogs. Great atmosphere also.

Great pace to snag a bagel and hang out. Might be the best breakfast/lunch in the Delmar Loop.

Honey vanilla latte is yummy, and they have the only solid breakfast selection on the loop. I'm not kidding, besides Winslow's home this is my only other breakfast spot

Delicious coffee and wonderful food offerings. The staff was very helpful when ordering, efficient and friendly. Highly recommend this little gem. If I were a local I’d be here often!

Amazing food and even better coffee. Something on the menu for everyone. Really has become a very popular spot especially on the weekends so expect a wait and be patient. Definitely worth the trip!! Highly recommend the bagel sandwiches and honey vanilla latte. I wish the hours were longer!

Finally tried this place after passing by so many times. Really liked it! I had the ETC sandwich on an everything bagel (the bagel was especially good) and tried a bite of my husband’s turkey club (I really liked both). Loved my iced caramel white chocolate latte. Will definitely be making this a regular stop. So many things on the menu look great and I’m excited to try more!
