Absolutely the BEST dental experiences I have ever had! I have been scared of going to the dentist all my life after some very painful and unpleasant experiences as a child, but at Serene Smiles they think of everything to make the experience a good one.

The office is clean and welcoming. The front desk team is amazing (Dee is so incredibly helpful and has gone above and beyond in helping me navigate tricky insurance questions, which I have never encountered at another healthcare provider. Seriously- so kind and helpful, it’s unbelievable). Everyone just radiates kindness and welcoming.

My hygienist is always so gentle during cleaning and considerate when working around problem/pain areas.

Dr. Swart is clearly very knowledgeable and honest, and able to give research/experience based recommendations.

They think of everything to make the experience pleasant, including being able to watch Netflix (this helps me SO MUCH when getting a filling, to be distracted) and providing chapstick and a blanket.

And the cherry on top- they do baby oral health visits to keep an eye on your infants oral development and also give them positive exposure to the process. We brought in my 9 month old daughter to have her first two tiny teeth looked at and it couldn’t have gone better. I’m glad she can grow up coming here and avoid all the unpleasant experiences my early dental experiences afforded me.

Excellent service. The prices are very reasonable and they make sure to get your approval before you get any work done. I expected to pay a lot more for all the work I had done, after all, they worked on my teeth for almost 3 hours (been 7 years since I went to a dentist and I grind hard). They did a great job on the fillings too. There were no alignment issues either. Highly recommend!

My first visit to this dentist . I only had my teeth cleaned but the experience with the hygienist Moe (sorry if I misspelled) was probably one of the best . The girls at the front desk are really exceptional and so pleasant , shout out to D, location and parking excellent . Still have follow up appointments so I will write a full review once I am completely done

You couldn’t ask for a better dentist visit. We brought our daughter that’s 3 and it was an excellent appointment! The dental hygienists and Dentist are extremely nice and absolutely wonderful with kids!!! We drove over an hour for the appointment and it was well worth the drive! I really appreciate the very welcoming environment and love the fact they are holistic.

Absolutely love this place. Our family of six came in for our appointments… We were treated like family, our kids are greeted and made to feel so welcomed and comfortable that they all actually look forward to going and are able to go in their dental seats alone. Our experience the last two times could not have gone better. We are so thankful to our friend who referred us to this dentist office!!

Dr Rachel is amazing! I’m the last guy to offer himself up for a dental visit so to get me in front of a dentist it has to be a serious reason! Dr Rachel and her staff are super pleasant. I absolutely love Donna! She is the best dental hygienists ever. She gives great conversation and she’s always interested in your comfort and well being. Dr Rachel is precise in everything that she does. The vibes and energy at Serene is so pleasant. My favorite feature of this dentist office is their attention to comfort. As always, excellent communication regarding getting me in quickly for a recement of an overlay which came off on a Saturday night. Always professional and efficient. Love Dr. Swart and her practice. TU.

The staff at Serene Smiles was great. For the first time I had to come to my appointment in an electric wheelchair and they were able to adjust to be able to do the teeth cleaning and xrays from my chair and make me feel comfortable while I was there.

I would absolutely give way more stars if possible. It was by far the best visit the the dentist I have had over the past 54 years! Everyone was sincere, genuinely friendly and caring. Plus!!!! The cost for dental services was very fair and much cheaper than I expected.

I can’t express how unbelievably great my experience at Serene Smiles was. The girls at the front desk were extremely welcoming and friendly. Amy, the dental hygienist, was just amazing—great personality, enthusiastic, really seemed like she wanted to do the best possible job on my teeth (and she did!). And of course, Dr. Swart—a very personable and knowledgeable dr who wanted to give me the best service.

We had just changed our dental service to this place. Dr. Swarts is great. She did a root canal on my 29, and saved that tooth with its old crown. She did the work like an artist. We are so happy to find her for our family's dental needs. Mo is great for cleaning work also. My next need is to Chang another tooth's damaged crown.

Moving to the area from Hawaii. I was able to get a cleaning appointment fairly fast! I was greeted by the sweetest receptionist named Holly. She was so pleasant and made me feel very welcomed to the practice. The hygienist Mo was also very pleasant and address some concerns that I had with a sensitive area. Dr Swart is so sweet and pleasant. She just gives you the assurance that everything is going to be ok. They did a follow-up call the next day to see how I was doing. Awesome team! I'm excited for them to see my husband next week as well.

Every step of the process was positive beginning with my call to set an appointment, Dee was so positive.
Dental hygienist Mo was also amazing and persistent.
I don't know anyone who looks forward to a visit to the dentist but they are changing my thinking.

Scored a 2pm appointment with this office, showed 5 minutes early, and they were ready for me on the spot. Went straight to hygiene and received a great cleaning / polish. Mo, the Hygienist has a calming way about her, and put me at ease right away.. I'm usually tense about going to the dentist, but this was great! Talked to the Doctor about having my old Army mercury fillings removed and replaced with modern materials. Two thumbs up for this office! :)

Do yourself a favor - stop reading reviews and make an appointment already.

The staff is kind, patient, and welcoming. From day one, I have always felt as though I am getting the VIP treatment. Based on my telephone interactions with staff, I have no doubt others are treated similarly. I live (and work) in downtown Raleigh, but Serene Smiles is definitely worth the trip!

As far as quality of service is concerned, procedures are performed efficiently and with a high degree of skill. Don't just take my word for it - I have had other dentists compliment work that was done at Serene Smiles. Kudos to Dr. Swart and company for running such an awesome practice!
