Saint Augustine’s University

The students and faculty are friendly and helpful. I had lunch in the cafeteria. The kitchen has a flair for southern cooking. My plate was loaded with fried chicken, corn bread, macaroni and cheese plus sweet potato casserole. The library honors the ladies that built the facilities into the university it is today.

Went to view campus during an orientation. Staff and students were very delightful, especially Dr. Townes. I'd love to see the on-campus hospital rebuilt for historical purposes as a museum. Maybe some funding is available for task. Didn't realize this university holds many NCAA Track & Field Championships with a former Olympic coach. GO FALCONS!!!

I attended this school from 91-93. I was there when Tupac came and Magic Johnson. I fell in love with the family unity that I felt while here. Me and some of the people I met are still in contact over 20 years strong. I am now back as an adult learner which is awesome. The professors are awesome and learned. They care about what they are doing even with limited resources. The school needs a lot, is tru, but that all falls back on the ALUMNI. Help make this school great again because not only does it have a rich history but it offers a brighter future to some who would never of had a chance to feel college life. If you went to Saint Augustine's College/University then support it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have seen a lot of successful people that had their start here so now is your chance to allow another kid enjoy the "GOOD" that the school has to offer.

I am a proud graduate of The Saint Augustine's University! My Alma mater has taught me so much about life and what I need to do to prepare for a successful life. Everyone who graduated from this university knows that if they made it through the Aug for 4 years they can make it through anything! Once a Falcon always a Falcon!

Drove through on a summer Saturday. I met the President and Vice President while passing through. If you can feel love for an HBCU then you know the challenges these men face daily. Money is indeed needed but it was clear to me that those men love St. Augustine and want to see it flourish. If I had pot of gold I would share it with them to see St.Augustine shine like the bright star that it is. I'm a SCSU Bulldog but folks that know about HBCU Pride?!!! Yep...I've got it for all that they have done and continue to do. God bless them all.

I was coming to the Aug in 1994 and at the time Dr. Prezell R. Robinson was President and Dr. Wally Davis was over Academic Affairs. Dr. Davis told us that they did not have the finest things but what they did have was “LOVE”. He told us to look to our right and then to our left because you might be staring at your husband or wife. Dr. Davis told us we would not be a number a St. Aug they would know who we were and our parents and I found that to be. I became ill my freshman year and they supported me until I graduated but Dr. Sober staff did her best until I was assaulted my senior year. I do not hold any hard feelings towards St. Aug because they prepared me for LIFE!!! If you can make it out of a HBCU you can make it anywhere. I had the best professors from Dr. Gloria E. Payne, Dr. Lauren M. Jones, Dr. Godfrey, and Dr. Jerrie W. Brown. So I thank St. Aug for giving me wonderful mentors, friends and life lessons.

My mother attended and graduated from this historically black college. Her BA degree was in elementary education.

My Alma Mater, what can I say, best years of my formal education, made friends for life with my sorors at Delta's very own ΓΡ. Prepared me for law school and for life!

Everyone was very helpful on all levels. I feel confortable that my daughter will have have a great experience.
