Had an amazing date night with my husband at 1703. I've heard great things and had high expectations. My expectations were certainly met. We had a wonderful watermelon and blackened shrimp salad. The snapper was fantastic. The creamed corn with the snapper was so yummy. We tried the berry crisp and chocolate ganache crisp. Both were great. Lovely atmosphere and staff.

The Caesar salad was delicious with real anchovies on it! Yum! Our family treated us for our anniversary and we all had fabulous dinners we all enjoyed. Mine was Trout with bbq rub and tantalizing spinach and asparagus. The topping on Trout was a succatash with green olives. Tasty treat. Be back for another dinner soon. Thank you!!

First time visit for a date night. Small restaurant feel with terrific service and food! From the burratta and starter Caesar the staff was welcoming and did not disappoint. It was challenging to decide based on the menu options but with help we down-selected to the salmon and lamb loin - both were cooked to perfection and had great flavors. Many dessert options to choose from and the blueberry tart and key lime pie were the perfect ending. My only regret is we took no pictures. Will definitely be returning and recommend!

Amazing service, also would have ordered most of the menu, looks great. The wine list is killer too and all reasonably priced for the quality. Start with the bread and butter, wow, a genuine surprise. The goat cheese bbq brussel sprouts great harmony of a pairing. The wild mushroom risotto hit all the notes, superb! The sea bass was cooked just nice and crispy, yet flaky w/ this lemon sauce succotash. Great execution of the creme brulee, perhaps more vanilla, only selfishly saying cause I want to order again! Great dining experience.

First class meal and delightful atmosphere. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. Will def return for more!

This was my first time at 1703. It was also a friend's birthday and the night Joe Biden was announced the 46th President of the United States and Kamala Harris Vice President. There was much to celebrate.
The restaurant has well established Covid-19 protocols in place for indoor and outdoor dining. Visit their Facebook page for instructions. That being said, the cocktails are yummy, the food is delicious, the staff is attentive and gracious, and I will absolutely go again. The menu changes daily, so call for details and reservations.

I went with a large group and the service was fantastic. We sat outside and it was a great atmosphere. I’ve been meaning to try 1703 for a long time, it was worth the wait.

If there were seven stars to recommend, I would give this restaurant "10" stars! So impressive and the food was amazing.

Wonderfully quiet upscale dining with a personal feel. One of Winston Salem's best kept secrets, IMO.

Had the lamp chops, an old fashioned and the 3-flavor creme brulee this time. All were perfect.

I am becoming a frequent flyer here and they are yet to disappoint! Brunch, lunch, and dinner has all be amazing!

Great food & great service. I've had brunch, lunch and dinner here, it's always great! The menu changes daily but seems to rotate back around every few weeks with a slightly different sauce or side. If you see the scallops topped with the pulled pork, get them, it may be the best thing I've ever eaten!

This is our go-to place to take friends and family for an amazing dining experience. The owners have done everything perfectly! I recommend the spinach salad, sea bass dinner and dark chocolate crumble.

We went today, April 13 for lunch. We had the rare tuna plate which was absolutely delicious. The tuna was thick and perfectly cooked. 1703 is always a favorite of ours due to their changing menu.

Intimate fine dining experience with excellent dishes and staff. I would definitely recommend 1703 to anyone and will definitely return.

We had an amazing experience. The subtlety of flavors and creativity of choice ingredients come together in a way that can only be done by the best of chefs. This is the best food we have had in Winston Salem including our own restaurant of which we are very proud. Excellently served by a pleasant and knowledgeable server. The owner checking on her guests while bussing tables is the kind of commitment that drives a great place like this. Don’t skip dessert, not here. Old fashioned classics like chocolate mousse or the creative elegance of a fresh berry and goat cheese tart are not to be missed and obviously made in house with the same passion as the rest of the menu.

We went back recently, Nov 2022, and had another sublime experience. The seared tuna over cold noodles really left a great impression on each of us. Thank you for bringing this level of creativity and quality to WS.

We held a bridesmaid's luncheon at 1703 in April 2022. Working with them was delightful. They provided a menu just for our event! The food and service was excellent. It was a beautiful way to start off my daughter's wedding weekend!

I love this restaurant. The food here is always fresh and I can say it is a cut above the rest. Service has been good but on a couple of occasions could have been better. I will say the steak and their crab cakes are absolutely delicious and always well prepared. I think hands down they have the best Key Lime Pie. The trio of creme brûlée is also wonderful and a beautiful setup. The menu changes daily. It’s a bit pricey but well worth the quality and I can assure you each meal will be worth every penny.

Visiting from out of state, absolutely incredible food start to finish. Actual anchovies on the Caesar salad! Some of the best fried chicken a northern Michigan girl has had! Wonderful meal start to finish with a nice strong pour of a drink to top. Wonderful find, definitely recommend.

Hands down, my favorite restaurant in Winston Salem. They never disappoint. Chef Curtis creates the most amazing dishes. I have had filets, fish, pork belly, salads and one time even chicken fried camel. (It was amazing!) The wine list is great. Service is always good. The owners are attentive and everyone is always very friendly. Treat yourself and go check this place out. I will bet that this will quickly become one of your favorite places as well.

I've lived in Winston-Salem for too long to have just found out about 1703. My partner and I went in today for a Sunday brunch date and I can't say enough good about it. By far, this was the best brunch we've had in town. Quirky, upscale ambiance with excellent food. Thank you for the exceptional service, Chuck! I highly recommend 1703 for anyone that wants to indulge in an above par restaurant experience.
