I have been ordering slices from Burke Street Pizza since 2008. It’s my go to for slices! Hugo has been around for a while and it’s always good to see his familiar face. If you want good quality pizza at a great price this is your spot!

This is the best pizza in the area, hands down. Crust, sauce, and toppings in perfect proportions, with quality ingredients and delightful freshness. Their salads are killer, too- big, clean, with an abundance of toppings and delightful homemade dressings. Staff is efficient and chill. Value is great, too. Check em. You won’t regret it.

My favorite NY style pizza in the Triad. The staff are friendly and polite. I've been ordering pizza from Burke Street for a long time. I've only had two minor issues with deliveries in the ten+ years in which I have lived nearby and they were outstanding in making it right both times. "Shout out to Hugo, thank you Sir".

Read about this place in a news article, picked a half sausage half pep 18 inch to go, uncut, tossed in the oven at 350 for a few minutes to warm it up and 💥!

The best NY style pizza i’ve had outside of Manhattan, it’s about a 30 min drive but I’ll be consistently ordering from this place moving forward and they serve slices for when I’m passing through.

Ordered a few things and didn't look at my receipt until later. I noticed one of the orders was wrong Mentioned it to the guys and the fixed it plus gave a partial refund great service and chicken barbecue pizza was delicious!

I am a regular customer and I ordered a delivery today. When the order came, I realized the sandwich was wrong, but when I looked at the receipt, I realized I must have ordered the wrong sandwich online. I was in a rush at work and made a mistake. I called Burke Street, and my delivery person spoke to me on the phone. He helped correct the order and sent a new delivery to me with exactly what I needed. This was a small act of kindness that meant so much to me as a repeat customer. I made a simple mistake, however your delivery man helped make my day. Thanks so much for the best customer service! And of course, the food was incredible as always :)

We got delivery to the Holiday Inn Express on Miller Street. We got 16" Pepperoni Pizza and Garlic Knots. ON THE MONEY, PERFECTLY DONE!!! From the girl that took order didn't miss anything, the driver was a gentleman, and the food was outstanding. 👌I'm going to try something else next time we stay here.

The pizza was great … I suggest u get one slice because two might as well be half a whole pizza 😂 the workers were happily and great vibes… cant wait to make another retro game trip so i can stop for a slice again.

They have two locations, this is the original one on Burke St. I live closer to the other one which has more parking and seating it this one has better pizza! I feel like I’m back on Long Island with this pizza. Perfect size and the sauce and cheese make it amazing. I have also had their small meatball parmigiana, it will fill you up. Again, great sauce and tasty Italian homemade meatballs. At least that’s what they taste like. Place is always busy and open late. Staff is friendly.

I ordered number #3 lunch special. Two pepperoni slices and a Fountain Drink. The slices are bery large. The pizza was the best I have had in North Carolina so far. Service and quality was top notch. Crust was cooked to perfection. The lunch came to $9.40. Good deal. They ad 3.25% sur-charge for the use of credit or debit card which came to .30 cents, not complaining about 30 cents. This will be my new pizza fix only 25 min drive. Beats the nasty pizza in lexington nc. Keep up the good work guys. A+

Update, 5/21/23: I'll say right off the bat that I understand the pandemic changed menu prices, I'm not oblivious or unsympathetic to that. That said, $30+ for three slices, mozz sticks, and a couple of sodas is a little steep. Finding out I was charged $1 for a side of ranch dressing that ran me .25 maybe a year ago also didn't sit well with me. Burke Street, please reconsider some of your price hikes - don't nickel and dime loyal customers that have been coming to you for years!

Burke street has been a go-to for this imported Jersey girl since I moved to Winston almost ten years ago. The pizza deserves the phone book's worth of awards lining their walls. The 90s hits playing definitely blanket the place in nostalgic comfort for yours truly, too.

For the uninitiated, the slices are the big, floppy "New York" style and about 1.5 to 2x the size of a "normal" pizza slice elsewhere. Also, the ranch dressing (get it to dip crusts in, trust me) is better than any pizza joint's has a right to be. (update: a side of ranch now costs $1 for a dipping cup!)

Expect to spend ~$8-10+ (update: EACH).

Great pizzeria for a quick slice and so much more! It has an authentic neighborhood pizza joint vibe. This is the Lasagna Special slice, they have a different special slice every day.

I travel 30 mins just to get pizza from here. It reminds me of home. Authentic taste, great service and overall just good quality. Always pleased.

A slice of pizza here is enough. Large slices will get you full. They have daily specials. I think wednesdays is chicken bbq... it was delicious. Hard working young men making pizza behind the counter with good vibes. Go check it out! Lots of parking.

Inside seating are was very clean and great decorations, massive slice of pizza, great taste.

Stopped in for lunch hoping for that "hole in the wall" feel and was not disappointed. Pizza was excellent, little to no flop. Service was fast. Definitely a great spot to grab a few slices for lunch.

Burke Street Pizza is the best around. Always love the food. Wish they would bring back the Thanksgiving on a bun though.

In town for market, just got to the hotel, but didn't want to go out. Actually had their pizza before and stumbled on it again via the reviews. Just as amazing as we remembered - the crust especially. This time around I'm saving the name so I order from them right away.
