Best mechanic I’ve ever been to.

They worked very quickly (same day) and gave me the best prices on everything out of all the mechanics I got quotes from.

They were kind, trustworthy, and professional. I highly recommend.

It is easy to give 5 stars when everything goes right. What makes companies different is how they react when something goes wrong. I had never taken my car here before and of course I am nervous. Dropped my car off the previous night by noon they told me it was just the battery and had it done 3 hours later after I asked for a tire rotation and oil change as well. Next morning my remote car starter did not work. Dropped it off before they opened. Called right after they opened. And fixed by 3 pm, no charge. There is always constructive feedback on all my reviews although 5 stars they did not mention my oil plug needed to be replaced. They did replace it for a very small charge. They did offer to take care of it but I did not want it due to their honesty and quick turn around. All in all great work.

Great people. Installed some aftermarket brakes for me. Quick and well priced. Will definitely use again.

Took my wife’s car in after another shop done a front end alignment. Theses guys jumped on it and had it fixed in no time. Awesome guys at awesome prices. Thank you guys so much!!!!

I can’t say enough good things about West End Auto. They treat their customers like family and are always professional, friendly, and honest. I work at the hospital and have used them for state inspections, oil changes and tire rotations, they’re the most affordable in town by far! Ralph the owner remembers his regulars and takes care of them. I recently heard a rattling noise on the right side of my F-150. I dropped it off at the shop the same day. They thoroughly inspected it and replaced the loose bolt free of cost. Thank you for the excellent service!!!! You can fully trust these folks to take care of you.

Went in for the first time today for an oil change, tire rotation, and inspection. They were quick, efficient and fair with their pricing. They didn't try to up sell me on anything I didn't need, which is the best part in my opinion. I'll be going back there for sure.

I can't say enough good things about this place. My husband and I needed emergency brake service while passing through Winston Salem on our way to Atlanta. We tried a few other shops before finding West End Auto Clinic - the other shops told us we would have to drop the car off and wait for 2-3 days. Ralph Ricciardi, the owner of West End, told us he would help us. He had our car fixed in 2 hours. He also dropped us off at a nearby restaurant so we could have lunch while we waited. I would give this place more stars if I could. Excellent repair shop and top notch customer service.

I’m new in Winston-Salem and my 13 year old BMW started acting up as soon as I moved here this year. Nothing against the local BMW dealer but they quoted me 1000s of bucks worth of issues. Someone recommended West End Auto and I’m glad they did. I’ve brought my car to them twice. They are knowledgeable, transparent, quick, and reasonably priced. Definitely will be taking my BMW to them from now on!

This place is so amazing that any time I dont go there with a car problem, I always regret it. They communicate well, they fix the problems and diagnose any problems behind those problems, and try to be as cost conscious as they can to help each customer. Their owner and manager work just as hard if not harder than the other employees and all of them are top notch people. Hard to find most of these qualities anywhere anymore let alone in one place. If you have a problem with your vehicle, they are the solution.

This place is great. I had a problem with my truck, and instead of them, taking me for my money and charging me for parts and labor for stuff that I probably wouldn’t have like another mechanic place. My do these guys offered me a Shortcuts and a hack to where I can put a certain type of gas and it will be OK and that worked and the problem is now gone and I have pass inspection. These guys are awesome. When I do have a big problem, I will be coming back to get more down there thank you guys for your tips and advice you soon hopefully not.

I worked with John and Ralph, the owner. They did a great job on my car and, most importantly, I felt like I could trust them. They identified the issue and explained it plainly to me. They are clearly good men and good mechanics, who I would recommend to anyone.

I took my truck in because I was leaking coolant. They worked with my warranty company to get the water pump and other things it needed which saved me a good bit of money. They also burped that system. When I got it home last night, I noticed a much smaller spot of coolant in my driveway so I called back. They had me bring it in right away and double checked some things and explained it could just be residual fluid from their work etc. They told me to keep an eye on it and let them know if I continue loosing coolant. Long story short, I feel confident that they stand behind their work and will take care of the customers. I was pleased and I would return for future repairs.

Had an issue with my oil pressure light coming on and three other mechanics (one I normally go to, other two were dealerships) & all of them gave me the advice to buy a new engine or buy a new car right now. My husband comes here on a regular basis and we wanted to give it one last shot. Ralph dug deep into the engine, found the problem, provided an engine flush & oil change (and changed my spark plugs because he was there). No problems since I drove away. I would have happily paid double what he charged for the professionalism and the service he provided - and he got it done in two days. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.
