Forsyth Auto Care

I've came to Forsyth Auto Care for years and they have always done me right. I've went to other mechanics and been ripped off and never once had this issue after I started coming to Forsyth. They've always fixed my car and looked out for me with other issues. They've always been very reasonable price wise. Everyone is always so kind and professional. I recommend them to anyone.

Forsyth Auto Care has been fantastic to me. The mechanics are honest and very knowledgeable. Sharon the receptionist who always greets me with a smile, is professional and friendly. This is where I have been taking my car for years and have never had any problems!!

An absolutely lovely service. I've gone to them twice now and both times I felt satisfied with how well they fixed and treated my car. The mechanic was able to explain to me the service needed to fix my car, and the wonderful Miss Sharon at the front desk made certain I would be notified as soon as it was fixed. I truly will use them as my car's mechanic for years to come.

I've had my 2011 Hyundai Elantra serviced by Forsyth Auto Care twice and both times they were great to fit me in their schedule, with a reasonable price, and communicated frequently. I felt completely confident in the repairs they made.

I initially heard about Forsyth Auto Care through my brother, who had a very positive experience with the team. The A/C in my Nissan Altima wasn't working, and I had numerous engine and exhaust leaks. I met with my mechanic in New Jersey, and was very concerned with the estimated cost. In addition, I had doubts regarding their ability to fully address all of the issues I was having. I decided to give Forsyth a shot while I was visiting my brother down there, and I'm so glad I did! I was given an appointment, dropped off the car, and it was ready the very next day! I'm a big believer in getting things done right the first time, and that's what they did...got it all done right the very first time. I'm so glad I waited until I got down to NC to have Forsyth Auto Care address all of my Altima's needs, at a VERY reasonable cost. Like my brother, I won't be taking my car to anyone else in the future.

This was my first time working with this place! As someone who is new to the city I felt so confident with them working on my car. The receptionist talks to you like you're family. Both she and the mechanic kept me updated on my repairs while I waited. My car was overheating so it was a very serious issue and they fixed it one day for a very reasonable price! Now my car is running like normal!! I will be sure to go to Forsyth Auto Care anytime I need anything. Thank you so much for taking care of my baby!!

Where to start...this is one of those times when 5 stars isn't enough. Not only was I treated extremely well, but my disabled son was also treated well. He makes noises that sometimes irritate people, but here they engaged with him and became friends. He insisted on riding with me on a later return visit, just to see the staff again. And that never happens.

And all that is nice, but it was just the icing on the cake. Because as I described a problem that another mechanic had quoted several thousand dollars to fix, Mark began to accurately diagnose issues that had plagued us for months. It was a tough one, but in the end they fixed exactly what was wrong for nearly $2100 LESS than the other shop had quoted. And the work the other shop quoted DID NOT include the actual fix to the problem, which means I would have spent money for nothing.

I am very thankful to have found not just an honest mechanic, but a highly skilled one. An intuitive one. When the solution wasn't immediately clear, he asked if he could take an extra day to be sure. Rather than just going by the book and swapping out every part in a complicated system, he made sure he was as informed as possible.

We're about to move an hour away from this shop, but I'll happily make the drive back here for anything that comes up. A good mechanic is worth their weight in gold, and this might be the best shop I've ever dealt with.

I don't normally write reviews, however I felt this case demanded it. My initial experience began earlier this year. I was having major engine trouble with my Infiniti QX56. After having several mechanics look at it, all of which offered no hope of repair whatsoever, I found Forsyth Auto Care online and decided to give them a call. So glad I did! Firstly, Sharon answered the phone, and she offered hope for an actual solution, unlike everyone else. She has been wonderful to work with! Then I got to know the owner, Mark (a.k.a. the "engine whisperer"). Extremely wise, knowledgeable, and a straight shooter. A mechanic that can clearly be trusted!!! There's also Justin, and other mechanics that just do it right the first time!!!
I'm not trusting of mechanics...this is the only exception!!!

The only trusting place I will take my automobiles. Very straight forward on what your car or trucks problem is. You may not like the price or what they have to say, but you can guarantee it will be fixed right the first time!!

I took my car to Forsyth Autocare to have my clutch replaced among a few other issues. Not only did they turn the repair around in the quick timeframe that I needed it back in, but my car is running better than ever. I have an older Maxima with well over 200 thousand miles and this repair has it running like it has only half the miles! I’m confident it has a few more trips around the world left before retirement. (Side note: My goal is 300k. If we make it there, I will buy it a nice beachside garage for it to live out its days sipping Mai Tai’s feeding the seagulls to the annoyance of other beach-goers).

I also had an issue with an EGR clog which not only caused the check engine light to come on, but also turned on my frustration with the DOT each year during inspection time. A non-issue – Forsyth Autocare told me they would clean the EGR while handling the clutch repair. They cleared the code and it has not came back on since. I had the Max inspected yesterday.

I am of the type that likes to understand what is happening, especially when I am having service provided. Forsyth Autocare took the time to explain to me what and why everything needed to happen.

They do such great auto detailing. My cars look like new once they put their hands on it. Good price and turnaround.
