Cheesecakes by Alex Twin City

My spouse and I popped in for a mid day treat not knowing that there was a full on bakery in addition to the great selection of cheesecake flavors. We ordered a chocolate croissant, Nutella croissant, traditional NY cheese cake slice, and a mint chocolate chip slice. Nothing will ever top a chocolate croissant for me and this is one of the best I’ve ever had. It was slightly denser than your average croissant, but still layery and flaky. Mint chip cheesecake was an original flavor combo that I’d not seen before.

The desserts here are really high quality and delicious. We bought 6 different items so we could get a feel for the variety. None of them disappointed. Only wish they had one in Atlanta now.

I traveled for work and was in the city and decided to stop by based on all the good reviews. The reviews are right! Nice atmosphere, great selection of items, and friendly staff. I am a big cheesecake fan, and this was THE BEST i have had in who knows how long! Perfect balance of flavor, not too sweet, not super thick. Light and airy and the precise flavor. Recommend 100% !!! (I had the apple crisp)

Great place for dessert, especially if you are doing a progressive dinner or just didn't like any of the dessert options you were given at the restaurant you had dinner at.

Great selection, lots of choices, good coffee and barista bar also.
They have a subscription that gives you 1 whole cheese each quarter. Pretty cool to try different ones. The chocolate chip creme pie was almost better than the cheesecake

A very nice full service bakery plus coffee, teas and frozen drinks. Many bakery items plus a large selection of fresh cheesecakes. I picking up a special order birthday cheesecake today.

Amazing cheesecake. Had the Key Lime and the Chocolate Raspberry. Both superb. Excellent texture and flavor. The cherry on top was the baker/owner Alex actually popped out to talk with us and make suggestions. I'm only in Winston-Salem for two nights, but I'm gonna try to make it back here for a second visit.

We discovered this little treasure while wandering around the Winston Salem Art District. As soon as we walked in I knew it was going to be great. The friendly staff and supercool eclectic vibe made us feel at home immediately. They have so many flavors of cheesecakes that it was hard to decide what we wanted, but our server was very patient and answered all of our questions with helpful and detailed answers. We finally picked a slice of the peanut butter cup cheesecake and a slice the Oreo one as well. Both slices were rich, decadent and perfectly prepared. They do have a selection of other bakery items as well, but we were focused on the cheesecakes only. If you’re ever in the downtown Winston Salem area and you want some great cheesecake at an amazing price then this is your place.

Excellent 🧀 cheesecakes with nearly 20 flavors to go along with ☕ coffee drinks, cakes, pastries, cookies, 🧁 cupcakes, and more. There is ample seating to go along with ♿ handicap accessible parking 🅿, 🚻 restrooms, and tables. They also have the friendliest and most helpful staff.

Cheesecake is delicious, so smooth and creamy. Nice atmosphere too and even more seating on their patio in back.

I know they are known for cheesecakes- first went to the one in Greensboro before it came here- but we love the cakes. The lemon blueberry, the banana pudding, and the coconut are all very very good cakes!

I am avoiding dessert but this is my weakness. The location itself is attractive and welcoming with plenty of seating. It is also walkable to cute outdoor seating or visit the art installations in the are. The cheesecake. Oh the cheesecake is a game changer. The perfect nightcap for dinner in downtown. I personally think the sweet potato should be their premier flavor. It is light and perfectly flavored. The flavors are readily available. I have never been met with an empty case. Variety abounds and the service is helpful and efficient.

My guilty pleasure! I always get a cannoli and I usually try to try a new flavor cheesecake, today was the chocolate chip. My husband got the blue velvet cake and if you love blueberries you would LOVE this cake, it has actually blueberries in the cake. We first visited Alex’s a couple of months ago for some cheesecake for someone’s birthday. It is the best cheesecake I’ve ever eaten. My favorite so far is the espresso one, but out of the 4 or 5 kinds we ordered, all of them were fantastic. The employees behind the counter are super efficient and friendly. This time, I also ordered an oat milk cappuccino with lavender flavor. It was perfect. While the food and drinks are great, the environment made it perfect for date night, although I would not hesitate to set up a business meeting or bring visiting family. It’s just a good hangout spot for some coffee and conversation. There was a person working named Jaselle, and they were a big reason the atmosphere was so welcoming. You could tell that the restaurant is well managed. Jaselle was also there during our last visit. I remember this because customer service is a huge part of keeping a business open, and I have to watch for those skills in my own job. Overall, I highly recommend coming to enjoy some dessert and coffee or coming by to get a to-go bag of dessert to share with the family.

Super creamy cheesecakes in pretty much any flavor you could imagine! Chocolate crossisants,Ice Cream...they even have treats for the dog!! It's a win for the whole family!

Can't miss on these cheesecakes. They have a variety of options and sweets if cheesecakes aren't your thing. They have a dine in area so you can eat your sweets there.

Wow!!!!!! LOVE this cheesecake! Workers are awesome, store front is beautiful! They earned a customer for good! Chocolate brownie turtle and chocolate swirl. Mmmmmm, mom, good!

Always deliciously decadent! Got the key lime this time. I have only been to the Greensboro location before today. Walked by on a Monday and they were open. Woot!
