Courtyard by Marriott Winston-Salem Downtown

Overall we had a great stay. It was quiet, clean, and welcoming. We had one issue with the night front desk woman but the manager William addressed our concerns professionally and promptly. He went above and beyond to ensure we felt heard and him being the manager is the reason we feel welcomed to come back. Phillip from the front desk is amazing as well and went above and beyond.
the room was extremely clean, had a gorgeous view, and a beautiful spacious shower!

Had a great stay. Stayed for one night. The Bistro food was excellent. DJ was an excellent bar tender despite the large crowd being overwhelming. Room was clean. Check in was simple with a little wait.

Nearby area had friendly people and some quality restaurants, we were impressed.

Only complaint would be that it wasn’t clear how you needed to get parked before coming. There is a deck next to the hotel, you need to take a ticket, check in to get your keys, then you can throw away the ticket. When you check out you use it to exit the garage and drop the keys in the box marked for key drop off. It’s not complicated, but it also is something you could be informed of ahead of time.

The front desk staff were extremely kind. The room was beautiful. The exercise room is very nice as well. Bring your own water, but several pieces of equipment. Thank you all.

One of the nicest hotels ever stayed at. Security was fantastic. Parking garage next door. Roof top bar. Half a mile a way from downstairs.

I was very impressed with this hotel and staff! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The ladies at the front desk were awesome! The hotel was clean, modern, and in walking distance to many restaurants. Will highly recommend staying here!

Hey first time here but won't be the last. You can see they take the job passionately. Rooms are nice and clean, hell the whole place is clean and everyone has been nice.

We had the absolute BEST experience at this hotel! The hotel staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and safe during covid! Extremely friendly and accommodating. Everything was very clean, comfortable, and well decorated. The location is unbeatable, walking distance to everything downtown has to offer. We also went up to the rooftop bar for drinks, which has a large outdoor patio and an amazing view of the sunset and downtown. Bartender was very friendly and had nice drink specials.
5/5 would recommend to friends and family and would stay here again.

Definitely enjoyed our stay! The woman at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and cozy while the bathroom was spacious! The heated pool was an absolute delight and was the closing to our night. The rooftop bar was fun and the drinks and snacks were delightful. Will stay again when we return to Winston Salem!

Excellent staff and location!! Concierge staff catered to me and made sure I was comfortable. Room was very clean and housekeeping made sure we were stocked with clean towels and supplies. I felt very safe and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!!

Perfect location, clean comfortable rooms and secure parking. Lobby lounge is actually lively which is rare at a hotel and staff friendly - DJ in particular was great. Lots of great food options in walking distance - live Footnotes books / coffee / cocktails around the corner.

We stayed here for a wedding we attended in town and had a great stay! All the staff were very helpful and accommodating and took measures to keep everyone safe. The rooms were modern and decorated nicely and the outdoor areas/rooftops were great. I cannot remember the name of the woman who checked us in (maybe something with a C?)
but she went above and beyond! Would highly recommend checking out this new hotel.

We stayed here the night of our wedding and we were very pleased with our experience. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very nice and when the shower needed to be cleaned it was done very quickly. We will stay here again, hopefully soon!!

Stayed here for a beautiful wedding next door at the coffee shop. Beautiful views of the city and a WONDERFULLY hospitable staff. Thank you to Sharel, Pam, Stephanie and Angela for making us feel so welcome in Winston-Salem. We hope to return soon!

Shelly Goodman took care of me and my guys. She was very clean and stayed busy. Would highly recommend having her make your drinks. Will definitely be staying again.

I like this hotel as good or better than any I've stayed. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. The bartenders at both bars are great. The rooms are clean with very comfortable beds. The downtown location is hard to beat. I'll always stay here when I'm in town.

Nice hotel room, the view wasn’t the best but it’s tough to make every side of the building have a nice view in a city that’s already built up. House cleaning was great and provided extra towels and more sheets with great service! No breakfast but there is a Starbucks inside and a little mart with drinks and a few frozen items.

I can’t say enough about this place the front desk overnight and morning staff were so welcoming and helpful! I had lost my phone and they were so generous in helping me out. Also the room was very nice, comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay here again and recommend!

I was in town late at night with a friend at a nearby hospital. I needed a place to crash for a few hours before driving several hour back home and checked in here. Staff was very accommodating and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Room was quite clean. I also appreciated that the parking garage required a room key and was fully gated off.

Beautiful hotel in great location...but the real GEM is the staff who are friendly, kind and want to make your stay the best it could be. Modern Decor, very clean, rooms well appointed, and Netlix. Thank you Brian and the Manager for your help, you really made us feel special and cared for.

One night stay at Downtown 4th street. Loved the rooms. Very comfortable beds. Slept well. Spacious room. Great room amenities. Exceptional bathroom and shower. Very nice staff. Enjoyed my stay.
