Embassy Suites by Hilton Winston Salem

Stayed for a night at this location to attend a concert nearby, and would gladly stay again when we're in Winston Salem. The suites are clean, spacious and comfortable. We found the beds to be just firm enough, and the pillows were nice and fluffy. The location is quiet, which is very nice when you want to escape the hustle and bustle. Staff were all pleasant to interact and chat with. Solid spot to stay!

The staff were all friendly and helpful. The building is located downtown and surrounded by multiple dining/drink locations. Evening reception was fruit with dip, chips, and salsa, Nx bagged snacks.

Breakfast was made to order omelets and other assorted hot options. Waffle maker with toppings, assorted pastries, fruit, and yogurt. After I ate, I discovered they had bacon and sausage available upon request. The building is older, but the lobby is beautiful and has been updated. Rooms have had a face-lift and were spacious. It is connected to the convention center. Ice machines....well, I got my exercise climbing the stairs to the 8th floor to find it has one that is actually working.

After reading other reviews, I am not sure why so many negative reviews this ES was good and the staff make up for the age of the building.

Stayed here for a conference. Room was great and spacious. Bartender at happy hour (Cierra) made us feel welcomed and made excellent drinks with the available spirits. Very close to great food options within walking distance. Would recommend this location to others.

Originally booked rooms on Priceline. When we checked in, Priceline never sent the confirmation of the rooms to the hotel so the hotel had no reservation for us even though I prepaid.Kaje and Nichole were amazing and were able to book a new room for us Us and contacted Priceline getting us a full refund from them. So thankful for all of their help! Stay was great! Rooms were immaculate, and parking was easy! We willl definitely be back. Thanks so much!!!

The bartender, Cierra, was fantastic! We were with a very large group and she managed all of our orders quickly and with a smile. She made excellent recommendations and her special drink became the go to order for most of our group! Incredibly sweet!

Nicole and Kiana at the front desk are spectacular and provided top notch support and service ongoing throughout our stay even when we had to extend the stay several times due to unforeseen circumstances. Their kindness, thoughtfulness and empathy is amazing and so very appreciated. Embassey Suites is very lucky to have these 2 ladies on staff. Highly recommend them both for their superior customer service & professionalism. Thank you both!

Also I'd like to sincerely thank the Embassey Suites, Winston Salem, NC on Cherry St for their absolutely amazing customer service and kindest associates ever! Due to an emergency situation, my husband unexpectedly had to be admitted to the hopital for emergency surgery that had complications on 4/23 and as of 5/14 (3 1/2 weeks and counting) is still in the hoptial with no release date. The hotel front desk, kitchen/bar staff and management team has the most phenomenal, professional, compassionate and caring human beings. They pray & ask about my husband every day. We are so touched by their kindness & complete compassionate sincerity. They made a serious medical emergency situation a little less stressful. I especially want to recognize Nicole, Kiana, Jessica, Megan, Sandra, LaShanda, Damen, Kaje, Deion, etc. + many others whom I don't know their names that made our stay so comforting. God bless them all. I hope we get to visit again 1 day in the future once my husband is released from the hopital and well again. Please be sure that top Hilton / Embassey Suites executives see this recognition and that they personally thank their Winston Salem staff as they truly deserve to be recognized for the ultimate customer service. Top notch folks all the way! Thank you from our family to each of your families. We came to the hotel as strangers but left with many new friends. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Kiana, front desk, Winston Salem embassy suites location downtown on Thurs., 4/24/24 gave us excellent customer service during conference. Made sure we had handicapped accessible room and was comfortable waiting in lobby while room was being serviced.

Courtney at the front desk at check-in was awesome. Getting from the paid parking deck to the lobby was a little interesting. Much easier after you have a key. Room is comfortable.

Experience was great! I am 60 years old raising a 5 year old. Would love if pool was heated so I could get in. To cold to old. Lol

I came to this unique city for a conference. After busy days, it was refreshing to see Cierra behind the bar! She was very welcoming and kind-hearted!

Excellent service. Before 2020 I used to travel 3 weeks out of the month for work regulary and I have a lot of experience with Hilton brands so I ignored the bad reviews and gave them the benefit and I am so glad I did because me and my family had a great stay. Room was excellent. Location was great but most of all the service was great. At check in everyone was friendly, we had a small mistake on room assignment but it was fixed quickly and the team apologized and we were on our way again. Evening reception team was amazing. And then breakfast staff was awesome. Every encounter was friendly and genuine. AND there was a homeschooling convention or something going on so the hotel was packed with families and service was still on point. I managed customer service for 20 years and the best service isn't always when everything is smooth but how you respond when mistakes happen and when you are at your busiest. Really great team. They deserve recognition and appreciation. We will be back. Thank you!

I attended Carolina University commencement 2024 as a faculty and very good location and environment event took place smoothly and happily.

Great hotel with a beautiful view. The rooms are very spacious, and the customer service was top tier. Megan helped me out so much with the parking situation and was very detailed about it by showing top notch professionalism. I really enjoyed my one-night stay at Embassy Suites Winson Salem. Keep up the great work!

The staff was great. The breakfast was really top notch. They have the usual fair but the made to order omelet bar and fresh bacon was really great. The open area on the second floor was a great area to meet and get a little work done and had a really open air feeling. Nice to have a table to work at in the room separate from the bedroom

My stay here was excellent the check in process was pain free my company needed to know a complete total before check in the host accommodated me with that with no problem, he also informed me of the appetizers and free drinks at the bar. The breakfast was elegant the next morning my omelet was by far the best I've had outside of home. The room was nice the beds were comfortable and the attention to details was a plus for me. I felt like I was royalty instead of needed a place to stay due to vehicle issues. If ever I'm in the area again I'll definitely stay here again.

The customer service here is top notch! Quinton went above and beyond on a phone call I had with him. And, someone chased after me one morning at breakfast as I had to carry food back to my room (for an early work call), but she wanted to make sure my food was covered!

Super hospitaable and nice. The rooms are older and dated, but I'm sure they will be up to par once redone. They were incredibly clean, though.

Check in was a little rough for some. We were to have a room with 2 double beds but had to take a king suites with a pull out instead. Think we ended up with a better deal. Very clean hotel. Friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel. Came for DR and found more of the guest to be rude. Where did manners go 🤔? Peaches in the breakfast room allowed me to get a cup of coffee before the breakfast buffet even opened up👏 I would recommend this hotel! Southern hospitality ❤
