Winston-Salem Marriott

Stayed for 3 nights for Wrestlecade 2023 and had a great time. Very nice rooms in great condition. It was quiet and peaceful and the location is great! It's a 5 minute walk from about 6 great restaurants, convenience stores and the convention center. You can part your car for the weekend. Looking forward to next year!

I had a wonderful experience at the Marriott during my stay. It was a convenient location, as well as very comfortable and accommodating. The staff was also very helpful, particularly Travis who went the extra mile to help me!! Thank you.

The hotel was very nice. Centrally located directly next to the convention center. The parking garage had a sky bridge so you didnt have to go outside to go to the car. Room was nice. Staff was friendly. There is a valet service, but i used the self park. Would definitely stay again if i was going to an event in the area

Recently stayed 2 nights. Price was high, but that's the way things are now. Room was very nice and modern, and I had a great view of the Wells Fargo Building (which will always be the Wachovia Building to me), as well as the rest of downtown. Front desk staff were professional, and room service kept my room clean.

Excellent stay! Friendly customer service, and the executive lounge with diverse snacks was a nice perk. Looking forward to returning!

This was an extremely nice hotel to stay at while attending a wedding. The shower had such wonderful acoustics that I sang and rapped several of my favorite songs while luxuriating in the water flow. It's tastefully decorated throughout. The floors in the room could get very slippery after a shower if you're not careful tho.

Rooms are modern, beds are super comfortable. Very please with my stay here.

This hotel is great. The lobby is updated as well as all of the guest amenities. They have the best gyms you will find in a hotel. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

The only complaint is that there are not microwaves in the rooms...the rooms are excellent, staff is professional, and the location is great.

Great experience! Was in town for a music convention that went from Sunday to Tuesday. Sunday night at the Butcher and Bull, the incredible staff made sure everyone was taken care of. We loved the local beer and bourbon selection. The bar manager was so nice, and her and her two bartenders even stayed open an extra hour to help us all have a great time that night!!

I do not even know where to start... this is hands down the NICEST property I have EVER stayed in. When you walk in, you are greeted with a feeling of, "we are better than you are" (at least that is what it felt like for me), not by their staff, but by the pure elegance of the lobby. The staff were extremely friendly, and were doing their best to suit all of our needs! There is a restaurant in the lobby, which served a small assortment of food, but they had some good options. When you manage to get to the hotel from the parking garage, it is not all it seems to be at first sight, but as soon as you walk into those double doors, everything changes. The hallways were marvelous, and the rooms were even better! Once you got into your room, closed the floor-to-ceiling door, and turned the light on, it is like you are somewhere nicer than the rest of the hotel! The shower is amazing, and once you figure out how to use it, the pressure is great! Everything was more than modern, as well. The fitness center was huge, too! It was like there was a whole gym in this hotel! The windows are huge, the view is amazing, as well. The bed, oh the bed! It was the most comfortable thing my body has EVER touched! The sheets are thick and soft, the pillows are soft and plush, and the bed is indescribable. It was like you sunk in- but it was still firm. I could talk about actually everything, but I believe this review is long enough. Overall, we will DEFINITELY be returning.

Review from a kid who got their dad's phone: Very nice rooms, very nice bathrooms, very nice stairways (I'm afraid of elevators), no pool but that's ok! Pictures from Google are from a few years ago. Has been renovated. Has a skywalk that gives access to the parking deck. Also has a stair balcony. Overall very nice hotel.

Great staff and very helpful people. They accommodated my Service Dog with ease. The conference I attended was great with plenty of room and good flow between event spaces. The parking choice was valet for $25 or Park on Your own across the street with a walking sky bridge which worked for me. The food was great with many options. Room was beautiful 😍 Would stay here again.

I want to give a shout out to the front desk clerk, Felicia. I left some rather pricey business clothes in my room accidentally. I called when I got home, and Felicia really went the extra mile to track the clothes down for me so I could get them back. I am glad there are people like you, Felicia. Marriott Hotel and the customers you come in contact with are fortunate to have you. Keep up the great work 👍

We had an amazing time in that hotel. Beautiful view from the 17th floor. Very quiet and we were able to have the much-needed rest. On top of that, we were surprised by a lovely bath roap and sleepers pair. We had a front desk with excellent and kind attention from the start. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

My experience was a very pleasant one. The hotel situation perfectly in the heart of the city.

As of September 20 21, there are no Covid restrictions at this hotel. Signs ask you to wear a mask, but only 50% of people do.

The rooms are very modern with a large TV and a great view. The gym is massive and has tons of different equipment. It also has windows on most sides which gives a very nice ambience.

The elevators, while only having three to use, are exceptionally fast. I never waited more than 30 seconds for one.

I appreciate that this hotel has unlimited water bottles for you. Right next to the reception is a little market, however the water bottles are free. Additionally, in the gym itself, there are a few fridges stocked with water bottles.

This hotel is very walkable - tons of restaurants and activities line the streets around here.

William McNeil was very helpful. There were some hiccups that I made during my reservation and he went over and above to make sure my husband and I were taken care of. Rooms were clean and all the staff was pleasant. Will return to this location in the future. Great location.

Attended an education conference this week and stay at this Marriott. Outstanding service, the rooms were clean and updated. Love the Marriott pillows! Went to the bar located in the restaurant at the hotel. Amazing bartenders, both Jay and Steve made everyone feel welcome and we had great conversation.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, but the best part is the staff. Everyone has been friendly, and the front desk staff is especially helpful.

Tip - request a room away from the elevators. I had to ask to change rooms because of the noise - but was very pleased with the customer service after asking.
