Hampton Inn & Suites Winston-Salem Downtown

Breakfast staff, front desk staff were friendly & kind! Ebony & Serah did a great job setting up for our conference. Beautiful decor in their spacious meeting room large enough for ice breaker activities. Valet parking employees were courteous, they offered my colleague & I assistance in getting our heavy items out of the vehicle.

Recently stayed here for an overnight stay and I have to say that this hotel is my new favorite. The hotel, service, room and area-I’m in love with Winston-Salem! The hotel was in downtown but felt extremely safe, everyone we spoke to was so friendly. The room was very clean and smelled clean. The hotel was clean and smelled clean-down to the breakfast area. We will definitely stay here again.

Can’t say enough about Gerald he was absolutely amazing and made my whole stay! I wish that all staff were as informative as him and as accommodating! The hotel is beautiful, very clean and close to a lot of food! Loved it here

We came to Winston-Salem for a concert and the hotel was in the perfect location. The staff took great care of us and our vehicle. Within walking distance of the concert venue. It was just a great experience.

Great checkin. I can't remember her name (petite, african american, short, brown skin) but she was friendly and knowledgable. The valet services gentleman was also helpful (5, 10 ish, braids, brown skin). The location is great if need to be downtown or do business at WSSU. Also, the rooms are great! I was really surprised because it was hampton inn. My only compliant is that gold members are given 1 bottle of water. Every other hilton brand hotel give members 2 bottles of water and a cookie. I was offered a pop or chocolate. I think 2 waters and the option of a pop or chocolate bar is better. Nonetheless, another great stay at this location.

After a few hit and miss stays throughout the Carolinas, this was a stand out location. Incredibly clean. Awesome downtown location. Service was good.

We were greeted yesterday with a friendly face and smile. The hotel was very clean and so was our room. They offer parking behind the building for $18 a day but that’s not bad considering it’s downtown. They have handicap parking right outside the entrance too. They have dog bowls and biscuits in the lobby to welcome your pups and I thought that was a nice touch (even though we aren’t traveling with a dog). We were walking distance to restaurants and breweries and everything we needed. Winston Salem has such a cute and nice downtown area! The staff from check in and out to breakfast chefs were all friendly and welcoming. The breakfast had all the usual foods you would expect and was very fresh. Waffles, eggs, bacon, potatoes , bagels, muffins, yogurt and etc. If we travel this way again we would definitely stay here again.

It was such a great experience at the Downtown Hilton Hotel. The staff was amazing, and the room was perfect. I got in early for my event and needed somewhere to change. They allowed me to utilize early access to my room to get ready before I had to be at my event. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the hotel staff was friendly and welcoming. I will be staying here again.

Stayed here for a few nights attending a conference this week. The hotel is in a great location, only a few blocks from the Benton Convention Center. Restaurants, shopping, and bars close by. Staff and the cleanliness of rooms were outstanding. My room looked like it was brand new. I would stay here again for sure.

Super appreciated Chelsea’s front-desk kind and courteous service for our family. Stayed in room 522 and loved the open and spacious concept. The location was perfect for walking to everything the down-town area has to offer. We will be back.

Great hotel at a reasonable price. Parking deck is tight, but being downtown, they only had so much room to work with. Would suggest marking all corner spots compact car only so making the turns would be easier.

I love this hotel. It is beautiful and in a great downtown location that is quiet at night when you want to sleep. They have thought of everything for their guests and the price is very reasonable. Spacious and beautiful rooms with many amenities and the beds are comfy too. The entire hotel has a lovely and charming atmosphere and it's also exceptionally clean. Friendly, polite, and helpful staff. Highly recommend.

We were in town for an event and stayed in one of the 2bed suites with wet bar. The staff was pleasant, including the lovely ladies at breakfast. The room was spacious, beautiful, and CLEAN. The breakfast was not out of this world but it was actually very good for a free hotel breakfast. And the location can't be beat for doing stuff in downtown WS. Would DEFINITELY stay here again.

Let me tell you something about this place it's very clean with the immaculate rooms and the building throughout for a fair price but the service is even better than the great rooms I've been there twice in the last month I'm coming from Charleston South Carolina battling cancer and seeing a doctor at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital Dr Levine who is doing a great job with my peritoneum cancer that being said there is a young lady named Angie that works at this location at the Hampton Inn and she is one of the best customer service agents I've ever dealt with she's very good at her job very friendly well knowledge of the area and was more than willing to give us several different restaurants that we could go eat at not being from the area she answered all our questions one of my family members was with me and as we walked in she was on the phone talking to her brother and Bill my family member started talking to her about talking to her brother and he spoke with his brother on the speakerphone or FaceTime or whatever you call it Duo the first time we went there so when we came back again yesterday she was a delight once again she always wears a beautiful smile on her face and no matter what gives 100% excellent service so I give this place a perfect 10 overall I know you can only get five but that's letting you know how I feel about this location

I stayed here with extended family on December 10th after visiting an Old Salem Christmas event. The location is extremely convenient and central. Our rooms were exceptionally clean. The front desk staff were all extraordinarily friendly and helpful, especially Cara, who checked us in. We really enjoyed our stay here, and look foreword to staying with you again the next time that we visit Winston Salem. As a diamond member, I stay at a lot of Hilton properties, and would rank yours as one of the top 20 that I have visited.

Free breakfast was decent. Very nice restaurant across the street.

This hotel was beautifully decorated. The colors of green, purple and black and white really were complimentary. The parking is horrible, and so tight. Parking is perfect if you own Fiats, but anything larger than that then you have to drive in the exit to get downstairs. The suites are very nice, and large, and super clean. It is walking distance to Fourth St., where all the fun things are.

Good location, hotel is nice staff are friendly professional. Every thing is kept clean. Eric who checked us in last night was very friendly Rachel this morning was also helpful and nice. With information we needed the laundry was very helpful to have and to be able to use it. The place is well kept and modern looking. We felt at home hospitality should be done this way. In the future travels this is well recommend it. At a fair value.
