Chuck's Trains & Hobby Depot

Chuck's trains & Hobby depot is exactly as stated, a hobby place! It has a nice assortment of toys, both old and new, but it has a very large selection of model planes, trains, and automobiles!
This store carries a respectable selection of N scale (around 9mm for TT wargamers), a LARGE selection of HO scale (around 15-12mm scale for TT wargamers), and a respectable selection of O scale (around 28-30mm for TT wargamers).
This store has a great selection of Woodland scenics too! Good trees and casting materials for train tables.
Now this store is not selling things for TT wargamers, but if you're looking for some trees for your TT table, some background terrain for 15mm scale Team Yankee WW3, or a few fighter planes for Warlord Games 28mm WW2 Bolt Action TT wargame, then you might just find some great stuff here!
I suggest this for anyone into modeling to visit at least once! The owners were real nice too!

I visited this awesome little hobby shop today and OMG this was a great find. Brought back a lot of good memories from the the hobby shops I would go to and stand awe of the selection. Definitely will be returning alot.

Awesome place to go for any kind of models and he has really good prices most the times less then online or hobby lobby. He has almost every/type of models all these on table plus trains

Been there a few times at their old location......next door to their new expanded locale. Stopped by the new location this past weekend and was very pleased with what they have from plastic models, puzzles, trains etc. I will be a more frequent customer.

This hobby shop always was worth the drive, but now they have expanded and remodeled. It is awesome, well lit, organized, and filled with inventory.

The Lionel O and the HO shelves have plenty of unique and different items, I easily find things to add to our layouts. Plenty of model kits and now they have added lots of regular toys. It kept my kids interested while I picked new Lionel kits to build!

Great store, worth the trip. Across from a main line with plenty of train traffic too. Oh and the prices are pretty good.

It’s true when folks say you’ll never know what you’ll find on the internet. Case in point and with a stroke of luck, I came across Chuck’s Trains and was surprised to find out they had a long discontinued Athearn HO locomotive in stock ! The online transaction was excellent and smooth and I highly suggest anybody looking for any older or discontinued but still new items to check Chuck’s Trains, because you’ll never know what you’ll find ! Found a couple of Athearn HO scale freight cars that I had been looking for.
Easy to order from their website. Order was quickly processed and shipped. Arrived in a few days with no damage to boxes or freight cars. Items were well packed for Economy shipping.

Nice little shop I only recently was made aware of. Filled to the brim with all sorts of model hobby related stuff - mostly trains but lots of other stuff to keep everyone happy. Great to see a brick and mortar hobby shop still exists. Owner very friendly too. Will be back.

Great selection of HO and N scale rolling stock, locomotives, track, scenery/structures, etc and so many other things. Friendly service, as well. I'll be making this place a regular stop for my needs.

Been using Chuck's about a year now. Small shop, but packed with merchandise. Routinely buy off the shelf, but he has ordered items for me as well...some arriving same week. Usually most items priced below retail. Had one piece of defective merchandise and he replaced it without hassle. Chuck loves to sit and chat as well. We can talk trains or solve all the worlds problems (haha). He is very loyal to his established costumers. Just an FYI, Chuck's does add 3.7% to debit and CC purchases, but they have no problem taking cash or check to avoid the additional fee.

One of the few hobby stores that sells ho scale trains and tracks local to me. Affordable and sometimes has preowned items to!
