We have used Brown Brothers since a bad experience with a previous plumber.
Brown Bros. has done a job no one else knew how to do and did it well. They fixed a cap on line that we as home owners were to fix. Not local government responsibility.
They recently replaced our sunk pump. Everything is working now. We are very satisfied with quality work they do. Their workers kept us informed to work to be done and the cost before doing job.
We are very satisfied with the work they have done and will continue to use them when needed in future.

I have used Brown Brothers about 4 times for sink leaks, a toilet clog that none of us could get unclogged, a external hose bib repair and to diagnose and repair a persistent leak on a 2.5 gal under sink hot water tank from Amazon that both my dad and a handyman could not repair correctly. Billing and prices are fair and plumbers have come on time and each plumber has been friendly and professional. Once, on an emergency call, Brown Brothers were not available so I used a different company and I had a very bad experience with the other company (overcharging me significantly and the plumber accidentally cut my internet line while digging for a water line in the ground even when I had warned him the line was in that area). So this experience further encouraged me to stay with Brown Brothers if at all possible. I will definitely continue to call Brown Brothers for my plumbing needs!

Very friendly but professional service. Were able to quickly repair a broken garbage disposal, and showed us how to fix ourselves in the future should the same issue arise. A little expensive for a ten-minute fix, but it saved us money we thought we'd need to spend replacing the whole unit. We will call Brown Brothers again if we need plumbing help!

I had my plumbing problem taken care of within 2 hours of my call to Brown Bros. The plumbers were knowledgeable and friendly, and did a great job. They told me Brown Bros treated their employees well. I liked that even more than what they did under the kitchen sink!

Tech called 20 minutes before he came, right on time. He was quick and competent, explained what he was doing when asked, double checked that all was working properly.
He didn't try to sell us anything, nor tried to add service that wasn't necessary.
We've been using Brown Bros Plumbing since 1990, and Brown Bros Heat - Air since 2018. And we've been fully satisfied.

I found the Brown Brothers plumbing to be very good. I asked him to take off their shoes and they immediately went, with no complaining, to put on paper booties. They tried the simplest prepares first without trying to upcharge me. When they didn't have to replace the same we talked about everything and everything was up front. They were also willing to look at another problem of mine without charging me extra. I would definitely use this group again.

I’ve used Brown Brothers for about 3 years for regular HVAC maintenance and urgent issues. Ron is my usual technician and he’s always fast, helpful, and friendly (with a good story or two!). BB schedules and invoices quickly and is fairly priced. I can’t imagine working with anyone else!

We have had a long working relationship with Brown Brothers Plumbing. I have found them to be honest, professional and prompt with their services. Today I expected to have to replace a kitchen sink faucet but the men working explained that the faucet could easily be repaired. They did so promptly and saved us money. The old sprayer works perfectly. We are deeply appreciative of their honesty. They could easily have pocketed additional money at our expense. We highly recommend Brown Brothers Plumbing.

We are incredibly thankful for these folks. Punctual, polite, and communication has been stellar throughout. We contacted BBPH to gather estimates for our main water line replacement as well as to replace our hot water heater. Their estimator, Mikey, stopped by not long after and was incredibly down to earth and helpful.
About a week later, we had them by to tackle our main water line install first. Both professionals were efficient, tidy, and left our yard looking nearly the same as before digging the line. They even walked my wife and our 6 month old through the job start to finish, explained what they did carefully, and even ensured that she felt safe home alone when a pesky neighbor walked by.
I can't wait to have them back out for our water heater install. We both could not be more impressed with their work thus far. THANK YOU.

I really appreciated the call informing me the tech was on his way. Arrival was prompt. I had a slow leak in my tankless waterheater. Will was fantastic. He troubleshooted the issue and found an answer. He was patient and knowledgeable. Cost was reasonable. Just a great experience all over. Brown Brothers will now be my go-to company.

Thanks so much for assisting me with getting a plumbing part taken care of. I had previously called 8 different companies within Durham and Chapel Hill, before getting assistance. The staff, especially Joseph was very polite and willing to assist. I will definitely use Brown Brothers for my future plumbing issues.

I have used brown brothers three times now (A/C fix , heating fix, and sink/disposal input). Each visit has been professional, clearly well done, and priced very fairly. I grew up in Durham and my parents always used them as well.

From the scheduler to the plumber and his assistant this company deserves the 5 stars. The service techs were on time, polite, professional in attire, and after looking at my issue said 3 words you don’t hear very often, “it’s not bad”. Music to my ear and wallet. Replaced a leaky pipe and tighten my pressure regulator. In and out of crawl space less than 25 minutes. Not a big job, I know, but still, Brown Bros. is on my speed dial for any future plumbing issues. Do people say that anymore? Lol

The staff at Brown Brothers is very professional and efficient. When I have called for a service request, I am greeted by Chantel who is very friendly and professional. The Tech are always informative and they know their product and offer good advice. I will always trust Brown Brothers with my HVAC services. The Tech showed up when he said he would, which I did not have to wait long for the appointment.

Great Experience. From the easy appointment setup, to the technician arriving early, to having our issue resolved quickly. Will be reaching out again in the future.

I had an extremely slow drain in my kitchen sink which I had treated several times with the boiling water, baking soda, and vinegar method several times. I got it to drain a little bit, but it was 4 days till Thanksgiving and I really needed that sink!
Brown Brothers plumbers came 2 days later and opened up the drain so it ran really well! They were on time, called first, were neat and clean and left my kitchen clean as well. Very pleased!

I hired Brown Brothers to install a kitchen faucet and I could not have had a better experience with the install. The workers were friendly and professional. My only complain was the appointment was for 12:00-2:00 but the workers did not show up until 4:30. I didn’t receive a call from their customer service department making me aware of the delay which was very disappointing.

Fast, prompt, did an excellent job! We needed a new toilet and they provided a great one and installation was fast and perfect. Will use them for any plumbing needs.
