Heyday Guitars is awesome! Michael knows guitars and will help you find the right one if he does not have it in stock. Buddha is a great guitar tech. These guys will not disappoint and the feeling I get is they are always looking out for your best interest, not simply to sell you something. I highly recommend these guys!

This is my favorite guitar shop in Winston Salem NC! They got a killer selection of great guitars and basses, super helpful staff and always play some of the best tunes in the store! I highly recommend this place to anyone in NC!

A rare "mom and pop" guitar shop filled with quality instuments/gear and great people. It was a pleasure walking in there, browsing around and eventually purchasing a fantastic playing Martin clone they had. I wish my wallet allowed me to support them more, but I'll definitely be back for anything I need.

A great neighborhood guitar shop. So much than going to the big corporate guitar store in town. Heyday has a great selection of interesting vintage instruments as well as a few high end Gibson and Martin types. Some cool old amps. Does repairs. Also has a nice rack of vinyl if that's your thing.

I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for an instrument. Michael was very communicative and easy to talk to. I live out of state and it was very easy to work out my order quickly. The instrument arrived safely two days ahead of schedule and played great right out of the box. I would definitely buy from Heyday again.

A bit of everything at all price points, and all good stuff. A lot you've heard of, and a lot that's uncommon. Very fair prices, especially on affordable gear. Also, based on what I observed, they really know their stuff on repairs and setups for amps and guitars. I tried out a lot and no duds, I would be willing to buy sight unseen based on my experience with the gear and staff. Highly recommended.

I’m excited by my Jaguar bass purchase and equipment. Love the shop. It has this vibe that makes me reminiscent of Sam Moss Guitars (RIP Sam). My 10year old who just started playing acoustic was digging the place as well. I’ll be back. Thanks, Michael

Literally the best music store I have ever been to in my LIFE. You walk in, and immediately are transcended back through time. It reeks of nostalgia in this shop. I am OBSSESSED. I've told all my friends about it and I plan to come back soon. Thanks for always being so kickass!

They did an excellent job setting my bass up after being in storage for years. And I got a helluva deal on an amplifier for it.

My husband and I took an old guitar in today with a string that had popped. I'm sure they knew I had recently started learning to play, because the wrong strings were on, and the guy who helped us pointed out how the wrong strings were bowing the bridge. They restrung new strings without any hesitation and we very helpful with this small transaction. When we went to pick it up, they were friendly, explained what they did, and were not pushy at all about lessons, other items, etc. I was not intimidated to go in and will go back for any other guitar needs I may have.

I went in today for a guitar sale that they had posted on social media. The salesman, Nick, was helpful, relaxed, and friendly. I purchased a guitar left and returned several hours later to purchase another. Very pleased.
