The Italian hero is next level goodness. The bread is pure perfection. The sandwich is topped with arugula and thin sliced red onions making this sandwich, hands down the best in town. Their meat and cheese used for this sandwich is AMAZING. I definitely will be back!!!

Oh my days! A true 'Mom and Pop' family business serving THE BEST Italian sandwiches and desserts (and much more) you could ever hope to find. Everything is delicious, authentic, and of the very highest quality. My 100% go-to place. Try the Rotisserie Turkey or Italian meatball sandwiches and follow up with anything containing their home-made lemon curd. Heaven!

Love coming back here every time I visit NC. Best Italian sandwich place and they totally understand what people like and want. Used to come here often during school. Great service and every dollar is worth it. Will come back again!

I recommend the Chicken Parm, Caesar Salad, and Fries with ranch.

My daughter and I stopped in for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon. We shared a grilled chicken sandwich, mozzarella and tomato salad, Italian meatballs, and chocolate brownie cheese cake. Everything was delicious.

The wait staff was friendly and helpful making suggestions for things we should try. I noticed some yummy pastries on the counter and asked what they were. The young lady said they were Italian doughnuts and gave us one to try. They were amazing!

This is a very welcoming place with plenty of options to choose from. I am planning to stop by again so I can try more of their desserts. Is a great place to meet a friend for coffee or lunch.

Hands down the best sandwich / desert restaurant in Winston-Salem. I have been a regular here since a friend of mine introduced me to the addiction which is their Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Extremely clean, friendly, and delicious. This puts all fast food chains to shame. Try their Linzer bars also, top notch stuff.

Quite simply one of the most phenomenal family food finds. Authentic, home-made sandwiches to die for, mouthwatering cakes and cookies - all hand made on the premises by the impeccable Dioli family.
(And did I mention the superb selection of Italian wines…?)

Have not tried anything in this exquisite Italian market that I wouldn't savor again. Even four years later still has the Italian roots in the food and it goes to show . Loved the mild copa and definitely the tiramisu . Continua a fare un ottimo lavoro!

So glad that I found this restaurant! When I walked in the owner was friendly and greeted us. She took her time and gave us samples of the different cuts of meat that we were considering ordering. The sandwiches were some of the best I've had in this area and it was a very generous amount of meat. We were full by the time we left and had no space left for their delicious looking tiramisu. She also gave us free zapoles for being first time patrons. Had a nice chat with the owner after dinner about the history of the restaurant. Above and beyond customer service! Will be returning here in the future!

OMG out of sight company the best Chicago Italian Beef I've had since I left Chicago I am now addicted. Someone I see but I don't care employees nice service can be slow due to people who don't show up for work all the students take over all the tables without consideration so be prepared

What a glorious place. The focaccia bread is legit and unmatched. It’s the kind of sandwich that makes you do that little happy dance after you take a bite cause it’s so tasty.

The food here is incredible, they also have gluten free bread available. Best deli in the area!

First time here! 30 minutes from closing. OMG this place is amazing! I purchased an outstanding Basil Parmesan Chicken Salad on Fresh Rye, also the classic Italian dessert Tiramisu it was fabulous. The ambiance was fantastic and the service was phenomenal. Thank you!!!

I’ve eaten here a hand full of times now and the food just gets better and better each time. Their Italian sandwiches and pasta salad are the best of the best.

Love Dioli’s! Maybe the best sandwiches in town! The rotisserie turkey on fresh focaccia is my favorite all-time sandwich; my husband loves the hot coppa. Their pastries and deserts are amazing too! I get their tiramisu for my birthday every year. If you go at a peak time for lunch, there could be a bit of a wait, but it’s worth it.

It’s like an old school Italian spot up in the northeast. Great staff and great food.

Best sandwiches in town, hands down!! I have tried about 8 or so items from their menu and nothing has failed to meet expectations. While I cannot confirm, most everything seems to be made in house. If you're in the mood for hot/cold sandwiches and a light dessert..Try them immediately!

This little Italian market is the place to go if you want a delicious, authentic tasting sandwich. The prosciutto and parm is to die for. The foccaia bread makes the sandwich. I've tried 5 of the sandwiches here and they have been a hit every single time. Make it a point to try this place!

Dioli's is our go-to Sunday lunch restaurant. Always hand-made sandwiches, treats & sweets, and good selection of various types of drinks.

I ordered Christmas cookies this year rather than baking my own. They were delicious. Responded quickly via email for ordering and their customer service was top notch. I highly recommend Dioli’s!
