Excellent place. Staff was very friendly. Food very good. I had the mountain man breakfast.

NEVER MISS THIS PLACE!
So hubby and I got so hungry after seeing the Devil's Kitchen cave and trekking for an hour and we decided to eat at this place.
Their ribeye steak was unforgettable! Talk about fat juicy medium well done, and a good amount of salt and pepper for the taste.

My hubby got a patty melt which was also very good.

They serve American, Italian and a bit of Mexican delicay.
LOVE LOVE this place.Will be coming back for our anniversary.

I can’t say enough about the goodness that is the Cedar Mountain Cafe. Nearly everything is scratch made perfection with only the finest ingredients, much thanks to Lucia’s amazing cooking. The fries are to die for, so don’t skimp, and as Lucia is Italian, you’re in for a real treat / the real deal with her homemade, homestyle traditional Italian cuisine. That said, my sister ordered the Fish & Chips, made from Mississippi cat fish, and it was also a delight. The cafe tends to be busier on weekends, but there is also an option to order takeout without missing a beat on the food. I ordered a gyro to-go a few weeks ago. The portion of lamb was generous, and included a side as well. The tzatziki was out of this world and so was the lamb. Overall, this is a great local haunt, and I would recommend it to anyone in the area. Or, make the trip even if you’re not!

Great little place tucked away in cedar mountain, don't let the size fool you, they guys have it going on! Great sweet potato fries to accompany their sandwiches which are very delicious. The staff are very friendly and come to the table often to ensure everything is perfect. Don't miss out if you are in the area, this place is definitely at the top of the list for really good meals and dining experience

⛰A Hidden Gem - Perfect Before a Hike!⛰

My party had a BIG hike planned but around lunchtime realized we'd be too hungry get far. As we searched for a place to grab a quick bite, we stumbled across Cedar Mountain Café. Since that "happy accident," we've added it to our must-eat diners in Greenville.

The café is cozy and friendly. It supports many local artists, photographers, and non-profits. Not only does the food taste amazing, but you can contribute to a bigger cause. The cooks are happy to customize your order if you'd like something modified or removed, and the portion sizes easily filled me up.

If you're heading out for a hike, stop by Cedar Mountain Café for a quick pit stop. Your taste buds will thank you!

I've been dining here for several years and think it gets better all the time. I've brought many friends and group members here and everyone has loved the food they received. The breakfast is fantastic, just sayin...

Lunch to go, Chicken Sandwich was tender and very tasty, and those delicious waffle sweet potato fries.

Love Cedar Mountain Cafe. Never been for dinner. Breakfast and lunch are great. The food is all a great mix between comfort and healthy. Clean and delicious. They serve the best veggie burger I've ever eaten. Try the specials or order from the menu. It's all delicious.

Every time we’re visiting the area we stop and eat here and every time it’s so good! We love coming for breakfast but this trip we came for lunch and still—everything was delicious!

Love this spot. Great food, we sat outside by the rocks. I had the spicy chicken wrap and my wife had the buffalo chicken sandwich. I'll be back

Food is so so tasty. You can taste the freshness in each bite. I got the Philly with fries, & baby got the chicken Parmesan. To go due to covid of course, but even still the quality was still 100%, plus it was uniquely wrapped in a box earth friendly+. Will be back!

My first visit here and I highly recommend this place for breakfast. Everyone here was friendly and and the food was awesome. Pictures show my selection of the Mountain Man breakfast, French toast, scrambled eggs, diced potatoes, Applewood smoked bacon and white toast.

Simple local diner with really great food and service. Portion sizes were larger than we expected. Sorry, but I had already eaten half the omelet and potatoes before taking the photo.

We stumbled upon this lovely establishment when visiting town and were greeted with the kindest staff, a lovely outdoor seating for our pup to join us, and INCREDIBLE food.

It was such a treat to enjoy some GF friendly classics that we went back the next day.

We stopped in after riding at DuPont State forest, and it seemed like most everyone else here was doing the same. Healthy cafe with a great range of choices for breakfast menu(served till noon) and lunch menu. Dinner is served Thursday through Saturday evening. We had the huevos rancheros and the southern spin on it was better than any other huevos I have had. If you are in the area and looking for food this place is a must!

Best breakfast in Transylvania County. Best breakfast in Brevard and definitely hands-down best breakfast in Cedar Mountain. Go early and go often….. we usually get the huevos rancheros and a pancake or two. Chile Quiles (sp?) are awesome too. If you are a real mountain person you’ll go for the mountain man/mountain woman breakfast.

I ate there twice while visiting the area, once for breakfast, once for dinner. Both meals were excellent, the servers were friendly and attentive, and the prices were reasonable. Will definitely eat there again. Awesome experience.

Delicious food and fast service! We ordered the goat cheese and jalapeño burger and the stuffed chicken with goat and mozzarella cheese, spinach and roasted tomatoes. Excellent!!

If you're ever in the western SC-NC border region, or even Greenville or Asheville, it's worth going out of your way to eat here. We just had three bests in our short patronage of the place: best breakfast we ever had anywhere (fried chicken biscuit with sausage gravy and eggs), best fried chicken, and best bacon that has probably existed since the invention of bacon. Friendly informative staff is a real pleasure to deal with too. Just wish they opened earlier.

Delicious Breakfast. Worth the drive from the low country. Was a slight wait, at 11am on a Sunday. Got table fast and served food fast. Great Coffee
