We camped here in a 35' 5th wheel. Roads are a little narrow but do able. Site #13 is a W/E/S 30amp. Plenty of room for tow vehicle on site. Not alot to do in the area but just relax! Would definitely stay here again!!

This is a great Park. Very good well marked trails, cute cabins & nice campground, little play ground and beautiful lake. Fishing, hiking, kayak & boating. Would be a great place to host picnics, reunions or make your family campground. I'll definitely go back. Visited 1/30/2024 lake being lowered to facilitate swimming area upgrade. Weather was perfect. I hiked the beaver trail from the field parking lot. I also sat sunning myself on the dock.

Quiet and a wonderful place to visit. Tranquil lake with frogs that are amazingly loud at night, geese, snakes, frogs, fish and more. Bath houses well kept, clean and air conditioned. Campground immaculate, and many sites recently renovated with electric and septic. Open area had horseshoe pit with horseshoes, cornhole, and a huge firepit with seating.

This state park is a gem. We also loved that the park had very limited lighting and the stars were amazing from the lake.

This is one of the undiscovered gems of South Carolina. It is a very nice part that is well maintained. The trails are lovely, the lake is nice, and there are barbecue grills and picnic tables. It's a very pleasant place to visit, and I would highly recommend stopping in. The staff is also very friendly, and there are some gifts and such in the park office.

Great park to spend a few days camping and enjoying the outdoors. Well maintained roads inside the park. Campground roads are sand while others are paved. All good for biking. Small play ground for kids. Campsites are mostly level. We had a nice view of Lake Norton... somewhat small and they were in the process of restocking so no fishing was allowed but we kayaked around it. A boat ramp is available and a nice pier. They have a couple of trails for hiking. Also ventured out of the park to kayak on the Little Pee Dee River. There's a river access road in Floyd Dale and another closer dirt road across from Big Horn road that is DNR controlled. This road is rough but it was worth the trip. Park staff was friendly and informative and hosts do a great job.

Nice park with a small office, picnic area, fishing area, campground and restrooms. You can get the sc state parks passport stamp outside the office where the kiosk with maps are. Enjoyed this park and the tranquility it provided. There is also a good sized playground and kayaks/row boats for rent.

We were wandering around the south and stopped in and drive thru this park. Beautiful temperatures in April. Beautiful lake. Flush bathhouse with showers. Nice sized sites. Beautiful lake. Almost the entire park is under a tree canopy. Every site that we looked at was almost fully shaded. Ranger woman was VERY friendly. They have TWO camp host sites on duty. Very dog friendly, and there is no "tents only" sites. You can stay in any site you like regardless of setup. And the road into the park is brand new and BEAUTIFUL, I posted pic of road leading into park.

Great little park with a cool trail around a beautiful lake. The petrified wood display is a really neat little addition.

This was our third Thanksgiving in a row staying at this park. We love how secluded it is. If you don't like the dark, this is not the park for you. There is no light pollution and the stars shine bright. We enjoyed fishing in Lake Norton. The camp hosts take good care of the facilities. There is not much to do in the area. The small town of Latta has a history museum and a few historical buildings. South of the Border is a nearby attraction. Be sure to pick up some ginger ale while there. Darlington is not a great distance and Myrtle Beach is about 60 miles.

Very nice park. RV sites were the most level of anywhere we have camped! Very easy setup and breakdown.

A quiet campground. Sites are hard sand and very flat. Seems to be a good population of birds; Carolina Wren, Oven Bird, Brown Thrasher are few. Spring 2023.

The campground is very nice and quite, roads and sites are sand with a table and firepit to cook on. Very clean bathhouse just to name a few. The onsite lake area is beautiful to relax by! Only down fall is the road coming into the main campground, Its very rough with potholes. Needs maintenance for sure but once you get to the campground it's like a small peace of paradise! And may I add the price cant be beat! We will be back for sure.

Peaceful. Arrived about 10:30am; was not busy. Clean. Small but feels big. Staff, very pleasant, happy and helpful. Playground. Rental Johnny boats and kayaks. I enjoyed the walk along the lake as well as the boat on. I will definitely be back

We loved our stay at Little Pee Dee! There is usually a lake, but at the time at that we were there, they had drained it for repair work on the local dam. It's still a beautiful view.

There are 50 campsites, about half have electricity and all have water. There is a dump station and a dumpster located at the entrance to the campground. The roads around the camp sites are a little rough, but if you're going slow you hardly notice.

Cell service for Verizon was great and consistent at about 2-3 bars for 4G LTE. AT&T cell service got 1-2 bars for 4G. Unfortunately, T-Mobile was non-existent.

We'd definitely come back!

State Park Campground located near Dillon SC. Small pond in rear of camping sites. Very family oriented and very reasonable. The park is a little over an hour away from Myrtle Beach area and is very quiet and relaxing. Please go check out our state's amazing parks and relax and enjoy.
