I had my baby here a year ago and I couldn’t say enough positive things! My nurses were absolutely incredible and I can’t thank them enough, especially nurse Michelle who was there for the delivery. We were so impressed and still a year later talk about how great our experience was! It was very clean, the rooms were big, and I was surprised by how yummy the food was. I would 100% recommend lone peak hospital for labor and delivery!

I delivered here about a week ago and I had such an amazing experience! The room was huge. Everyone who came into my room was so kind for the most part. All my nurses were great but I LOVED my night nurses. Huge shout out to Jessica and Grace for helping me. As a new mom and all the hormones being all over the place, they made my healing in the hospital the best that it could be. I owe so much respect to my nurse who stayed with me 30 minutes after shift change just to help me deliver. She took care of me my whole laboring process and was very kind and explained every step in detail. She even got on my bed to help me turn my baby so he’d deliver the correct way. I don’t think I could’ve asked for a better nurse to help me than Danielle. I could go on and on about how my experience was just so amazing! Thank you to all the staff who took care of my new little family!

I had my Total Hip Surgery on April 4 2024. I am so totally impressed with the hospital AND all of the staff that took care of me. I did not have to wait for anything. I am sorry I did not write any staff names. As a nurse myself the caring of the staff was outstanding. I would recommend Lone Peak Hospital anytime. A BIG THANK YOU‼ Joyce L Halling

The BEST hospital you will ever give birth in. My first birth was a breeze and big shout out to makaylee who helped us through the whole thing as first time parents. My second birth was completely natural due to a failed epidural (not hospitals fault) and they were AMAZING. Offered me all the comfort from what I was comfortable with. Positions, medication, bathtub, etc. nurse Melanie will always have a special place in my heart for staying past her shift to make sure I was okay until my doctor got there. The best nursing staff ever.

Of course everyone in O.R. / pre- OR / post- OR are very knowledgeable, compassionate, approachable and helpful. I'm always at SOOOOO much PEACE going into a surgery at Lone Peak Hospital. And of course Dr. Amundsen and Jason Holden are quite the dynamic duo! My over night stay on the 4th floor was very pleasant. All the nurses and aids were friendly and available. Even tho the intense part of being in a hospital is the actual surgical procedure HOWEVER as a staff team of employees who do their job well and step up helping each other and the patients play a HUGE PART of the entire experience.
The only place I found negativity is when walking in building 1 which is the main hospital.....the receptionists for some reason are always crabby. I despise having to talk to them. Too bad the actual check in / billing & registration dept don't have a kiosk were patients could check themselves in to avoid the front desk. But like I said once you get past the receptionists....it's Pleasantville ❣

A couple of months ago, I found myself in need of urgent medical care due to my blood oxygen levels becoming very low. I soon learned that I was grappling with a challenging case of pneumonia. From the very beginning, the staff was quick to get me in and figure out what was causing my oxygen levels to be so low. Throughout the treatment, the staff at Lone Peak Hospital treated me with a level of kindness that felt like home. I was initially worried about the costs, but they quickly reassured me, emphasizing that my well-being was their top priority.

What stood out the most was the genuine care and patience they extended during my time there. I'll admit, I was scared and nervous, and there were moments when I couldn't stop talking due to my nerves. The incredible staff at Lone Peak Hospital handled it all with such grace and patience, providing a reassuring presence that made all the difference.

The medical team not only treated my illness but also took the time to understand my fears and concerns. It felt like they were there not just as healthcare professionals but as friends, guiding me through the process.

I am beyond grateful to Lone Peak Hospital for the wonderful care I received. Thanks to their dedication, I am alive and well today. It wasn't just about getting better; it was about the warmth, comfort, and understanding they provided during a challenging time. To the amazing team at Lone Peak Hospital, thank you for your kindness and the extra mile you went to ensure my recovery.

I just wanted to share what an amazing experience I had with all of the nurses and doctors that I encountered on my unexpected visit to the hospital to have my inflamed appendix removed suddenly.

In no particular order, I would like to thank Cathy who i was cared for upon entering the ER, Briana i dealt the most time with over the evening shift when i had the most discomfort and issues and she made my time extremely comfortable to say the least. Shaina and Laura were fabulous the day of my surgery and took amazing care of me.

Lone Peak is a top-notch facility, and I even found out after the fact that my ex was diagnosed with her auto immune there after trying numerous times with other doctors and nurses, and they were the only ones to figure out what she had, and diagnosed it, and started her treatment, which is also incredible

The staff that I was blessed to work with me was off the charts. From the time we walked in to when we left we have never been treaded with such kindness. The phone calls that I have received shows they care for their patients hands down. I would recommend Lone Peak hospital to being best care provided. And the cleanliness of the hospital

I had my baby here and really didn’t want to because it was far from my house. My insurance company said that this hospital was the closest hospital I could deliver. After my experience, I am really glad it worked out that way. The staff was kind and worked quickly while I was in agonizing pain. The rooms were nice, the food was great- especially for hospital food and the cleanliness was better than many hospitals I have seen. I actually can’t say enough good about it and everyone has earned and deserves my gratitude, respect and praise. They took great care of me and my family and they stand tall in my good graces for how phenomenally I was treated. Thank you Lone Peak Hospital!

Beautiful facility even with the construction. Great location right off of state street not too far from the highway. Parking is ample. Staff are super friendly. Facility is clean. I came in for a quick visit and was satisfied. I highly recommend.

We truly appreciate our experience during labor, delivery, recovery, and six days in NICU. I felt very respected by each nurse that came around and was assigned to me. There wasn't a bad nurse to choose from, though I didn't get to choose, but I feel like I got lucky to have Shelby during my labor to act quickly when my body and my baby had stresses, to have Danielle with me during my pushing and delivery phase, and Catherine was an excellent nurse to have at discharge (hope I remembered their names right!). I was well instructed on how to help myself best recover, and I was given plenty of supplies to take home. The food included in my stay was really quite good, most of it, and it was so nice to have a fancy celebration dinner after delivery! Thank you!

The knowledgeable NICU nurses who cared for my Thea around the clock brought an exhausted and worried mama so much comfort. They answered my constant questions and did so well to accommodate me so that I could nurse my girl right in the room, even though it was very packed and under renovation at the time. If they were stressed about the environment, they didn't show it; their expertise and professionalism rose above. But they were also conversational and happy, despite having such a tireless job. They never made me feel like an inconvenience, and several nurses sent us a signed congratulations card at our home, which brought tears to my eyes (but what doesn't these days haha). Thank you to all the great staff at LPH.

After delivery I slept one night in the same room then I was moved to floor 4. That bed was much nicer, so that was great to have one more recovery day with a better bed. Though the chair-become-bed option in the smaller floor 4 room would not have been able to hold my husband at all, so luckily we don't live far and he slept at home. Some doors were kind of heavy to open considering the possible weakened state some patients could be in. And some restrooms didn't have hooks in them (to hang robe/purse/coat), which I always find inconvenient. Those are my only feedback improvement items. :)

It was great to have a water mug with bending straw. The delivery gown was pleasant enough for the job. My birth plan was reviewed by my nurses and respected and adapted well as we went along. My unplanned epidural was effective in the right areas, and everyone supported my decision and helped coach me through each movement and non-movement required. I was under such a whirlwind moment of stress I have no idea who was holding my hand and supporting me during it, but they were fully there for me in my moment and I'm so grateful. All I could do was focus on breathing and holding still and trusting their every word.

And there were only two moments in the NICU that brought heaviness on me. One shift the nurses told me emphatically to be there right on the hour to nurse, so I did my very best thereafter to time everything just right. And then a night shift nurse did things a bit differently so that her cares were starting on the hour and I sat and waited until she was done before nursing, and it just stretched out my fatigue more than I realized it would. I would have rather come 10 minutes after the hour when I could then hold and feed my baby and not be in the way but keep resting (I hadn't been discharged yet for that shift), because all the hormones and trying new things and being there then going back to try pumping then starting all over...ten minutes was a big deal haha. And then the other thing, a small thing but it just poked my spread-thin heart just right, was the nurse assigned as charge nurse that morning grumbled about hating her job, and the context I gathered was it being her turn as charge nurse, but I couldn't help but think of the attitude spilling into her care for my baby. So it was hard to overhear those words, even though I gather that being charge nurse must be something rather difficult. So whether that difficulty can be improved, I'd recommend a caution to use wise words when parents are in the room!

Lactation consultants were also great!

Coming from a postpartum RN myself, I had such a GREAT experience here at Lone Peak Hospital for my delivery. My labor nurse Lexie was absolutely amazing and I loved her! She supported me the whole time and helped my laboring process be completely smooth. She took her time with me and I really felt seen and heard. Thank you Lexie! And thank you to all the other great postpartum nurses. If I have another baby, will definitely be delivering here again. THANK YOU THANK YOU!

My wife has been to so many different doctors. One time they thought she was going into heart failure. But she was just having a hard time breathing. So we went to lone peak Ear nose and throat specialist. Wow they checked her esophagus and found it was narrowed and she had a procedure to open her esophagus. And no more panic attacks she can breathe better it’s amazing. Dr.wilson and his team helped my wife.

I went to lone peak for my labor & delivery for our 2nd baby and had the best experience completely opposite from my first at another hospital out of state. They listened to my concerns and wants for my birth experience, didn’t push a bunch of unnecessary labor interventions, all of the nurses were so sweet and patient and the facility is new, clean, and comfortable. We stayed for one night after baby arrived and they didn’t intrude a million times overnight, they were quiet, offered drinks & snacks and just overall it was a really pleasant experience. I think I’m done having babies but if I were to have another I would definitely go back to lone peak. So grateful for all their help while we were there.
