Shuler's BBQ

The best all-you-can-eat style BBQ in the land. Still had big chunks of pork with bark on it that pulled apart with the plastic fork. Went for lunch so ribs and bbq chicken were not on the menu. Great slaw. Loved their sauce too. Tried squash casserole which was also very good. They take credit cards.

Good ole Southern people and atmosphere. The food was delicious. Plenty of parking. Southern food and sweets. Bonus is the shopping beside the restaurant. BBQ, fried chicken, cheese macaroni, rice, and more.

Shuler's is a great find for a great meal! Get the buffet or order off the menu. Home cooked veggies (especially the collards) are absolutely delicious! Great ribs, BBQ, sweet potatoes... even dessert. Fried chicken was good but a little greasy. The apple cobbler was more to my liking than the peach.

We had the BBQ buffet, and everything tasted amazing. Great ribs, unbelievable fried chicken. I didn't get to try the chicken and dumplings, but everyone at the table raved about them. All the sides I tried were amazing. It's definitely worth the trip. Great atmosphere.

Hands down the best bbq buffet I have had in the area. Your only enemy here is yourself!!! You will be in a food comma with their incredible ribs that are peppered and their chicken with this delicious creamy sauce. Mouth watering a day later while writing this review!

Passing through SC from PA to Florida and wanted something tasty. this is what we found! Love the vibe and authenticity we felt. Ribs, chicken and all the sides we amazing. Topped off with some delicious apple crisp. A very simple selection but you really couldn't ask more from a buffet!

$12 lunch with bbq and all the sides you could need. Honey go eat!!!! You can get the buffet and literally pig out. 3 choices of dessert, Apple with brown sugar, banana pudding, and peach Cobbler. The service was fast and friendly. The restroom is very clean. The place is awesome!!! The BBQ needs no sauce its great. You can wonder out and look over the pond or go to the general store.

Really great experience and truly can't say enough about the service. Katie was our server, she was extremely nice, and honestly the best service, by far, at any restaurant I can remember in nearly a half century of time visiting eating establishments. The place has full on country barbecue joint charm, classic feel, and an super general store as well. Now that I mentioned all those features, let me just say EVERYTHING my Wife, daughter and I had to eat was absolutely excellent, even superb chopped BBQ on a buffet! I'm from North Carolina, have consumed my bodyweight more than once in that delicacy, so trust me. Really.. if you are passing through... You need to stop and eat there. I'm trying to figure out how to route future family trips that way just for a reason to stop. The place had me when I saw Texas Pete and hot pepper vinegar on the table... Also, it was the best apple cobbler ever. Thank y'all!

Omg! What a gem in the middle of nowhere! Best Mac&cheese I've ever had. Sweet potato casserole, squash casserole, baked beans - all amazing. The pulled pork was very vinegary, which I think is southern BBQ style. The fried chicken was to die for. And then there was DESSERT! YUM. I will be back again when we are traveling through.
Warning - check the hours of operation if you are on a road trip because they are not open at the beginning of the week. Plan accordingly because this is not to be missed.

This restaurant is amazing. The food was fresh and delicious. The store attached to it so s very nice. They also have a little gazebo and it is very relaxing. Definitely take your a friend or family you will enjoy.

We always look forward to a meal here en route to the beach. Each and every time, we’ve been very pleased with the quality and selection! BBQ at its best with delicious southern style sides and desserts. Friendly staff and very affordable price!

My daughter and I took a road trip from Virginia Beach to Myrtle Beach to meet up with her best friend, and we made it a point to take the hour plus drive to go eat at Shoulder's...we don't regret doing so. It's not a fancy place but the restaurant and their shop has a lot of southern charm. As soon as we stepped through the door we were reminded that we were in the south. Everything from the southern accent (which I realized I missed listening to) to the all the Jesus references reminded us "Oh yeah, we're here". The food is definitely comforting and delicious. You'll have a buffet choice of chicken n dumplings, collards, baked, BBQ and fried chicken, ribs, and you can't pass up the biscuits, cornbread and hush puppies. The dessert was good, but just not very many choices. You'll see a lot of plastic and Styrofoam utensils and bowls, but honestly, that's what it's like to go to a southern family BBQ. I definitely recommend and if you can go when it's still light out, or right around sunset, you can take some very nice pictures.

Excellent Carolina BBQ! This place has a lot of space and is on a little lake with fish, and turtles, maybe even an alligator (pure speculation). They are being very cautious and clean in regards with the virus which is a plus as well. Experience from service and the BBQ buffet were excellent. If you plan to visit just beware they are only open Thursday through Saturday, and there's a lunch and dinner buffet. I wish I were there for the dinner as I was really looking forward to trying the ribs. Definitely worth a stop for good food and a quick stop through the general store!

Great find. Came through from Clemson. Unbelievable food. Ribs, chicken, pulled pork and veggies. The chicken and dumplings was my favorite. So glad we stopped.
Nice local restaurant on the off beat way to the coast. Worth the stop. Can’t wait to eat on the deck next to the pond when it cools down in the fall.

Shuler's is a must stop both coming and going to Myrtle Beach. You can't miss it, the parking lot is usually packed. The restaurant is buffet style Southern cooking at its best. The pork is so good that adding sauce would remove the decency you have left. Fried chicken is the perfect color and crunch, and it is so juicy that you might need a bib. There is just about anything you could want on the buffet. And for the live of everything right in this world, save room for the best banana pudding you will ever taste. My husband even ate it, and he isn't much for banana anything.

If you haven't had a chance to view some of our local rivers, walk out back afterward and let the kuds run off some energy while you enjoy the view. Paying is set up like Cracker Barrel, where you walk through a cute gift shop.

Who in their right mind would rate this place a 1 Star?!?! The food was awesome, the experience was well curated (local banjo group playing on the porch), and the staff were wonderfully polite and attentive. It is totally worth the 1.5 mile trek from the freeway. Go for the ribs if nothing else:)

Always one of my favorite places to eat. Southern buffet style food. Tend to be packed at lunch and afternoons, so I recommend going between if you're not feeling too peopley.

Outstanding. Ribs, bog, & mac & cheese were my personal favorites, but everything is delicious. Staff is really friendly too! Our server Emily was super helpful. So glad we stopped here on our drive down to Florida.
