Cindi's NY Deli & Restaurant

Oh my this place was busy! We got into town an hour early and wanted to grab a bite to eat before the train left. Nice folks, good portions, fair prices and very convienent.

We were staying downtown for a convention at the Hyatt. This is a nice short walk from there.
Food was excellent; the blintzes were a bit too sweet for me, but were still tasty. We’ve been meaning to find a Jewish deli in Dallas and this was what we were looking for. We’ll have to try another location closer to us in the burbs for lunch some time soon!

we had the reuben and the chicken salad club, both were very good

most people around us went for the breakfast items which all looked amazing, especially the pancakes

prices are really good and the service was extremely fast and efficient

Great place! Carlos our server was awesome! We almost stopped at some other place but we are so glad that we didn’t! It was so worth it and we will be back next time we are in town! Food was amazing! Reuben pastrami highly recommended! So many good things to choose from!

My family and I came to Dallas for the VEX Robotics World Championships at the Kay Bailey Convention Center. We chose Cindi's NY Deli because the location was within walking distance and the menu had a good mix of choices for everyone. When we walked in, at 12:15, we were greeted right away. The dining room was about three-quarters full so they sat us immediately. Our server Laurie was prompt and cheerful. We placed our order with ease and our food arrived in less than 10 minutes. Everything was fresh and delicious and the presentation was excellent. My Daughter had a tuna sandwich and fries, my Husband had a cheeseburger with fries and I had a Greek salad with grilled chicken. We were so satisfied that you might see us again tomorrow. Keep up the great work owners and staff!

Don't let the wait scare you off. When we arrived at 10:30 am on a Friday morning the restaurant was packed. But the servers and kitchen staff must be used to it because we were sitting at a table within 10 minutes. The weekday breakfast specials were perfect for us, even items off the kids menu were plenty filling. As you can see we had a blueberry bagel, french toast plates and pancake plates that hit the spot. Good food, great service at good prices what more can you ask for. We are staying near by so we will be back! Thank you.

I’ve been here twice and both times I had a wonderful experience! The food is REALLY good, you cannot go wrong with anything you order. The service was also great! We were served by Carlos, he deserves a raise really because in the hour and a half we were there 2 people came in and asked for him. He’s attentive, kind, and good and calming people. Anyway, this is now my favorite breakfast place!

Oh, my, that was really quite enjoyable!! I planned to do a breakfast experience here while in Dallas, mostly based on online research and recommendations. I can definitely understand that popularity, as I'm now a new fan as well. On my first attempt there were several parties waiting outside to be seated, so I decided to come back later in my stay. The next day was a Monday and Cindi's is closed, so I knew I'd still attempt a return the following day. This was during the very busy extended weekend of the solar eclipse. I did return on Tuesday morning and was immediately seated with very friendly and attentive service throughout by Laurie. She was excellent!! There were several items I'd enjoyed trying, but eventually chose the German Pancakes, which were deeeelicious. That bit of lemon squeeze made a nice difference. I was very impressed by the whole breakfast dining experience and can HIGHLY recommend Cindi's to others who may be make dining choices. Go!! Enjoy!! I know i certainly did. Thanks!!

I wish I had more time in town so I could have eaten at Cindi’s more than once. I really wanted to try their lunch. And more breakfast items. The one meal that I had was so good. The service was quick and efficient. After I ate I took a few minutes to plan what I was doing and where I was going that day. I didn’t feel like I had to rush out of there.

Speedy and friendly service, delicious food. Calm atmosphere.

My first time and it was great. The sandwiches were bigger than expected, so filling that I took the rest to go. Needed room for dessert, which was chocolate meringue pie. I think I'm in love 😅 & will be going back 🙂

Like finding gold. Big portions, tasty food. Friendly staff. Coffee was good, hash browns were perfect, bacon was crispy like I asked. Fresh eggs, pancakes were delicious. I'm just sorry I didn't discover this until my last day here, I would've gone all week.

I was staying at a nearby hotel, and not a fan of hotel breakfasts.
But super glad I found this place. Had breakfast here 3-4 times. Staff were always very friendly and efficient. Kept my coffee and water regularly topped up.
Had a few of the dishes, and enjoyed all of them. Tasty, great portions and good price as well. So if you’re looking for a good brekky cafe. Can definitely recommend here.

This place was excellent! Our party of seven showed up during the lunch hour and we were seated promptly. We have our drink within 5 minutes and they took our order. Food came out within 15 minutes despite the place being packed.

Our waiter was great and got the orders prefect.

I had a Reuben with corned beef and I wanted to cry at the first bite. It was delicious! The others had breakfast foods, salads, and the veggie melt. Everyone enjoyed the food.

I might have given a 4.7 if that were possible. The front window looked like a brick had been thrown through them at some point and the cardboard taped over it looked like it had been there a bit.

Definitely recommend this place and hope to return.

I love this place so much! The food is great and the service is amazing as well. The French toast is really the best thing in the menu in my opinion lol. But this place definitely gets a 10/10 and I definitely would recommend to anyone!

We love Cindis! Great food, excellent service, extensive menu. It's a treat to eat there every time we go to Dallas. Good ambiance and location as well. Can't speak highly enough about them, no negatives. One of the best Reubens I've ever had! 😁

Dropped by on a Saturday morning for a quick bite by myself before exploring the city. This place is simply amazing, typical diner vibes, excellent and quick service. Their coffee is excellent, the food is of great quality and value. I was amazed how this spacious spot got busier by locals and families digging into beautiful stacks of pancakes.

The server was delightful, cordial and very detailed. The food was very well proportioned we had to use a to-go plate for the raining food. The coffee was excellent and the bagel was on point! The freshness of the food was impressive. Overall, it was a good experience and the food's price point was worth it.

Best migas in Dallas; and then you can take home lox and bagels too. BTW Grace is a great wait person

Great food, quiet space, great service. Nice for a group and for solos.
