It was a pleasant first visit! I asked if there was a jellycat section and the staff member led me to the plush section with most of them. Some dragon jellies, unicorn jellies, and huge jelly bunnies were displayed throughout the store. It was like a treasure hunt. They even dedicated a section to ricky the rain frog.

Awesome customer service. I telephoned to see if they had a train whistle. They went to check to see if they had it. They did & said that it was $10. I told them to hold it for me as I lived about 25 minutes away. We got there within 30 minutes; went to the cashier & she was holding our train whistle. We were treated very courteously. This is an AMAZING TOY STORE & EVERY BOY OR GIRLS DREAM IN ONE BLDG.

The best toy store that I've ever seen! They had unique, high quality toys organized in many distinct genres (books, dinosaurs, cars/trains, blocks/building, dolls, puzzles, outdoor/kites, fantasy/roleplay, etc.) and all at fair prices. It really opened my eyes to how cool toys can be, especially when most retailers just offer boilerplate molded plastic junk. This store is a gem! Their staff are friendly and knowledgeable too. My two year old needed a diaper change, and I was wowed by their family changing room complete with free diapers, wipes, and hand sanitizer. They cater to their customers!

We were on our way to Dragonslair and accidentally pulled up here because of the large dragon bust on the front of the building, but the longer we sat in the car and looked at it the more we knew we HAD to go in. Omg, I’m so glad we did. This is literally the coolest toy store we’ve ever seen. Lots and lots of cool trinkets and toys, all very cohesively organized. Modern and toys of yesteryear. On top of everything there was a lot of local art featured and for sale. I really loved the “local artist sticker machine”. Cool place! I hope to visit again next time we’re in Austin.

Still the best big toy store around. Plenty of toys, organized by theme which helps if your kid wants something particular. Approachable pricing, so with a little preparation, you too can get your kid in and out, without pain in the pocket book! Kid-friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ahhh, gotta go back!

My daughter and I call this place Mr. Magoriums wonder emporium. It's so much more than a toy store. It's filled with fun magical items. We can never leave empty handed.

It's a really great toy store. Toys you won't find elsewhere. My granddaughters love going. There is an in-store coffee shop that I enjoy.

One of the last great toy stores in existence. Could not recommend more highly. The store is deceptively large, definitely worth your time to stop in and check it out.

Holly was an incredible representative of the most incredible toy store experience I could ever imagine having in TEXAS of all places! Was happy to discover no deals on Black Friday, with all the local artist representation, old timey toys from childhood. And everything in between. Can't wait to visit and explore more. An hour and a half just wasn't long enough.

Excellent toy store! The space was much larger than I expected before walking in, and I can't believe how much they managed to pack into it, all while having a fairly large number of toys open and available to test out (building toy tables in the toddler area, a train table, an etch-a-sketch, bins of bouncy balls, several Rody bouncing horses). If there's a specific type of toy you're looking for, particularly if it's a nostalgic toy from your childhood, this is a good place to look. It's also a good place to look for a gift if you have a theme of gift in mind (i.e. toys to inspire a love of nature) but not a specific toy, as they do a good job of grouping like themes of toys (nature, art, science, dinosaurs, dolls, dollhouses, books, cars, board games, trains, kites, toddler, baby, etc.).

Terra Toys is magical. It's a true toy store, full of wonder and curiosity. I love toys and I especially love to give toys as gifts, so without a doubt, this is my favorite place to shop and explore.

If you're going to walk through this place, be prepared to pace yourself. This is Amazing and brings out the kid in you. Lots of wonderful things - be careful, you'd probably want to walk through first then go back for something you want.

The older my kids get the less interested they are in toys and this makes me really sad because I love hanging out at Terra Toys.

This is the absolute best toy store in Austin. They have a very broad selection to choose from that caters to a range of ages. The staff is what makes this toy store perfect though. They aren’t just nice or polite; they wander through the store and interact with kids, demonstrating toys like puppets or magic tricks. They are very knowledgeable and give the impression that they love all matters of toys themselves.

Best toy store we have been to in Austin-toys for both kids and adults! Was very impressed with the selection. My son made me come here for the 80's gumball machine that sends your gumball through a maze, lol. There was so much to see-my favorites being the vintage nesting dolls, and tin wind up toys etc. Lots of toys out to try before you buy. Very friendly staff. Also had a ittle coffee shop as well-did not try so can't review that part but will do next time :) Cool murals outside as well-will definitely come back again and again.

SQUEAL OF JOY. I had at least 4 employees interact with me. All lovely people. My niece and nephew LOST THEIR MIND with joy. So much heart and imagination in this store. And I was dazzled by the array for kids of all ranges and interests and for people of all budgets. Also got some incredible original art as well as a scrummy iced latte♡♡♡♡ Thanks for being a delightful place!!!!

I love Terra Toys as much if not more than my children. We all find joy when we go. They have a little something for everyone. Puzzles, games, dolls, trucks, books, arts and crafts, puppets, costumes and so much more. It has an artsy, fun and nostalgic vibe. The staff is always helpful and kind. The last time I was there we were pleasantly surprised to walk into a fairy picnic, kids and adults alike dressed up and having a blast. There are a few areas where kids can play and it keeps them occupied while you wander around healing your inner child :) Support your local toy store and check them out.
