Jay is the best dude ever!! He always makes me feel like family when I come in!! I pass up 20 other gas stations AND MY JOB every morning to make sure I give them my business!! Awesome place and people!

My experience at Grubby’s is always pleasant, particularly because of the great customer service skills exhibited by Jay! He is a very friendly and very cordial. I always look forward to seeing him. He represents the owners well!

Very calm and fun environment

I want this place to get gas. And I decided I wanted to get some snacks to watch the game. Went inside and got a few things and went up to the counter to pay for them. As the guy was checking me out the two Pop Tarts in a bag that I brought rung up at $4.69. I asked him if that was correct and you said yes. I told him I don't want it and he asked me to put it back, which I did. I understand it's a convenience store but that price is absolutely ridiculous. But then to add insult to injury when I asked for a bag for my few items he only said that he had a used bag and if that was okay. I said yes, but the only problem was there was very visibly hanging right there a whole sleeve of brand new bags. I did not say anything to him because I did not want to get into an argument. Obviously he was kind of mad at me for not wanting something that I was going to purchase that they were trying to gouge me on. So I will not be going back there again other than to get gas because I do have a Valero card and I get a discount.
P.S. Just looked online an 8-pack a Pop Tarts, for two packs, sell at Target for $2.69. You do the math!
