Cannot say enough good things about Fire and Stone Design! We met with Steve on a Saturday morning and he was so informative about our options. I started having second thoughts (the next day) on which type of fireplace we should build. But I decided to call Steve, and he explained everything again in detail and with more drawings . It became much clearer to me and put my mind at ease. So glad we went with the full floor to ceiling stone! At installation, there was an issue with the incorrect mantle being installed. Tim responded right away and called me personally to apologize. He was able to replace the mantle with the correct one the very next day. We were so very impressed with this company and how they really care about their work and give excellent customer service. We just LOVE our new fireplace! Thank you!!!

Our fireplace project included stone refacing, new hearth, and cleaning/maintenance of the fireplace insert. The project turned out exactly as we had imagined. Steve and his team were professional and courteous through the process. A few revisions were required midstream, but they remained focused on delivering a project we had anticipated. Steve even met with me at a stone quarry to assist in stone selection for our uniquely sized hearth. Additionally James, our salesman, was very pleasant to work with and followed through with communication whenever I had questions or concerns. I highly recommend them for fireplace services. Had gas fireplace replaced with electric Moden Flames.Had others say it couldn't be done. They did it in about 5 hours, beautiful job. Installer Dave very talented and a great guy.

We've worked with Fire and Stone design twice and are very happy with both projects. The first was for a high-efficiency wood burning fireplace insert, and the second was more extensive: we removed an existing gas fireplace and surrounding cabinets, and replaced with a freestanding wood stove. Both look and perform great! We will be using them for service and flue cleanings moving forward.

I had been to every fireplace retailer in southeastern Wisconsin....at least 2x. Came here and this was the place. The owner Steve happened to be there when I stopped in. He helped guide me in choosing the best fire place and walked me through all the details. No hard sell, transparent pricing, and very responsive. I had a private contractor do most of the work but Steve and his team did the install. Great quality and the installers went above and beyond in further explaining do's/ don'ts and let me know important details to be mindful of. Highly recommend.

Fire and Stone Design was recommended to me by a roofing contractor working on the house. I needed to have my Lopi Liberty stove installed. After talking to Steve at Fire and Stone Design I was completely at ease. He was straight forward and honest. Steve knew my stove and what it needed for installation. He was able to explain the parts needed and the chimney installation process in a clear and understandable way. The crew arrived at 9 AM, they were friendly, considerate and went about their business. They were careful, polite, with a sense of humor. They cleaned up after themselves. They were done in a half day. The chimney is plumb, connections are tight and secure, The connector box through the joists is lined up and square. It looks like a professional job, because it was.
I would not hesitate to recommend Fire and Stone Design to anyone that will stand still and listen. I called them all in the area, and I made the right decision with Fire and Stone Design.

Austin did a much-needed fireplace inspection and cleaning. He was courteous, explained things thoroughly and did his work quickly and efficiently. I even got to see the video inspection of the chimney and it was spotless after he finished. Hope we get Austin again next year!

Steve and his team did an amazing job. They helped us pick out stone and wood that worked with our decor. Our fireplace really makes a statement! His team were also extremely neat and clean! Would highly recommend them!

We recently replaced our roof and gutters only to find out our chimney was deteriorating! We called in several companies and everyone gave a quote from the ground except for Fire & Stone! They had a guy go up, take photos, explain to us what was going on and what it would cost. They were careful of our new roof, new gutters, a very special tree out front :) Everyone from sales to clean up was professional, clean, and respectful of our property and goals! Would like to give a shout out to the guy who built the form he captured my vision to a tee! The only way I could have possibly been happier is if they did it for free!

Our Kozy fireplace finally wore out after 40 years, time for a replacement. We contacted Fire and Stone. Steve and his team explained the options based on our current setup. From the removal of the old fireplace, to the installation of the new Lopi wood insert, Fire and Stone did a great job. This is a group of highly skilled, professional craftsman. I'm extremely satisfied with the new fireplace, and would definitely recommend Fire and Stone!

What was kind of always an eyesore is now a beautiful focal point and conversation piece thanks to Fire & Stone Design. From the perfect color of natural stone to the original 1800s barn beam mantle we couldn't be happier with how this turned out. Great customer service as well! Definitely check them out if you're looking for any work done.
