El Chatos Restaurant

We really enjoyed our time here. The food was delicious and the service fast and amazing! The atmosphere was great too. It's located in a convenient location, and should be a good option for both residents and road trippers. Absolutely recommend.

This was my second visit on my way from San Antonio to El Paso. I love this restaurant and the friendly staff. The ingredients are fresh and plentiful. I love the chicken enchiladas with the gravy sauce! Total out the door, only $11 + tip. I look fwd to my next visit :). TIP: If driving west on I-10, use your gps so you don't go too far and have to take next exit.

Wow, what a hidden gem. One of the best Mexican food!! Traveling from West, TX to San Antonio, TX, found here right next to hw10. Food and service were excellent. The lady who served us was super nice. We ordered Pork chop Rancheros and taco salad. We normally would have left over but it was so good we ate them all. If you like spicy steak, get pork chop Ranchero. It doesn't say on the menu but the sauce is made with Serrano pepper. Super hot and super yum.

Myself and some friends ate here about a month ago and I have to say it was very delicious a good restaurant for such a small town. The chips and salsa were excellent, homemade salsa went good with everything we even had some to go, dinner was just as awesome, had some also to go lol and the best part was BYOB but we didn’t have any beer to bring in lol. Try it you’ll love it.

We are from out of town... Tucson Arizona. Many choices for Mexican food in the area. We decided to choose this one. Opened exactly on time at 5pm. Lovely girl there at the front door to personally welcome us in... her name is Daniela and she was also our waitress. Daniela is an extremely professional waitress and went above and beyond to make my wife and I feel very comfortable!! Not only was she very friendly but also very knowledgeable of the menu. The dinner we selected was the best Mexican dishes you could ever expect! The chefs did everything right!! After traveling all day on the road from Tucson... Daniela and the food she served was the highlight of our day!! Definitely take the tie to stop here and do not hesitate to ask for Daniela to have a wonderful dinner experience!!

Good combo plate. I stopped by for dinner while passing through the are. Food was good and hot. Service was quick but the restaurant wasn't busy. Left with happy plates.

Our server Irma was awesome. She made us feel right at home and was very helpful. The food was on point, fresh and very hot. I travel all over the country for work and if I happen to be in town again I will definitely return. Thanks to Irma, the kitchen staff and the friendly management.

Steak Ranchero. This is what I recommend. Get it and you won’t be disappointed

I work here every 2 weeks and I always pass by but this was the 1st time coming. Freaking amazing food. Guiso plate was tender and flavorful. My wife's chicken Enchiladas were moist and packed with flavor. We will definitely be back soon. If you're in town, you have to stop by

We were seated at lunch time immediately after walking in. Complementary chips and salsa were placed and even refilled. The salsa wasn't my favorite, though, and I thought it tasted a bit like tomato paste with Tabasco sauce- no cilantro or other flavors. However, the food was very good. The service was attentive and friendly. I would be happy to recommend this restaurant to a friend.

I'm originally from CA I always hear people it doesn't taste like "CA Mexican Food" 🙄 well it was even better than Cali 🤷‍♀. If I pass through again definitely going to El Chatos 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Excellent tamales! Great service, nice atmosphere, and plenty of parking spots.
Menu also has a pretty broad variety of items in the event you are looking for something besides Mexican food.
