Gold's Gym

Been here for 4 years. Amazing community, staff, and equipment. Shoutout specifically to Dan, give that man a raise.

This is by far my favorite gym. I love the sauna, classes, and overall setup of the facility. It’s small and very clean. The only downside is no pool or track, however it fits my needs. It is expensive and I hear that the guy who runs it is a real piece of work but if it doesn’t affect me then I don’t care. I love working out it the classroom when it’s empty because it’s more private. I like that they allow people to put that room to use, even when classes aren’t in session. I have been to the Peoria Gold’s and it doesn’t hold a candle to this one, in my eyes.

Gold's Gym has something for everyone. There are plenty of free weights and some very good machines. I've never had to wait for a treadmill or bike like I have at other gyms. The group fitness classes are excellent with instructors who really know their stuff! Very clean facility and the best shakes around to top it all off!

I have been going to this gym for the last several plus years, and I am a HUGE fan. The equipment is kept clean and updated. The cardio machines are always well maintained and they have a great selection. The spin classes, group classes and HIT classes are fantastic: the Les Mills selction, often changed up for freshness and the instructors make it fun. Don't be surprised if you're singing to the songs and/or "whopping" in the air in the middle of spin with 10 of your newly found cycle mates. Not to mention that the selection of classes is sure to have something that suits you and your goals. They even have a drop in day care which makes it so easy for the busy mom (or dad) to create that down time needed for a good workout.

My favorite part of this gym though: their staff. This location has staff that has been with the manager, Todd, for a very long time. They are highly trained, highly motivated, and they also are dedicated to this gym. They keep up to date on the latest and greatest and the gym operates so smoothly with this dedicated team.

I read the reviews posted here, and I have to say: I was quite surprised. I have never ever been hit on by any golds team members or management, the front desk people are always there with a smile (even at 5:00 am) and I find the pricing which includes all the classes but Grit and private training quite reasonable.

I travel a ton and go to many different gyms. This is a very nice space, very spread out where it doesn't look like it ever can feel "crowded", and has super good equipment. Honestly can say this is one of the cleanest gyms with super nice people.

The gym is always very clean and has a great atmosphere! The staff and trainers are friendly and go above and beyond helping any question or concern. Childcare is an awesome amenity to have and I always trust my son is in good hands!

Nice work out facility! Even though price is a little higher it's worth it! Includes classes and more. Employes are friendly and helpful as well as childcare. Owner is so nice and always smiling and friendly. Love this gym!

A great gym. Always clean locker rooms and exercise areas. The machines and pads on all the bench equipment are maintained very well. Free weight area is neat and organized.

Love the free classes included with your membership. It's always clean and the employees are friendly.

Front desk staff are always friendly and helpful, childcare is very trustworthy and great with kids, and equipment is always clean.

They have all the weights that a person could want as well as cardio machines. And the gym is keep clean.

Out of all the gyms I've been to this one is always the most updated with new tread mills, bikes, work out equipment, weights etc
