My son has a disability and they was very good with him and they let me (mom) go back with him to hold his hand. They didn't get frustrated with him even though he was rushing them. They did a wonderful job.

I am giving a 5 star review for the dental crew, because they always go above and beyond with the children. However, I want to give ZERO star for the scheduler. I’ve been having scheduling problems for over a year, and each time it just gets worse. If you made an appt, you are not guaranteed a spot on the day of your appt. Their scheduling system somehow would “automatically change” your original scheduled appt. to a different day (this was the response the scheduler told me several times, and that there was nothing they could do about it). I’ve had this happened so many times. We all have to work, and that is exactly why we schedule appointments so we could bring our children to get services done. I’ve had to rearrange my whole day just to make the appts work, but in the end, it didn’t matter because the “system” didn’t care and nothing could be done. Each time the system “changed” our appts without notice, it would be very hard to schedule another appt, because the next availability they would tell you would be at least 5-6months from the day you originally would’ve been seen but couldn’t get seen because their “system” changed your appt date. I am beyond frustrated! I am writing this review in hopes someone from upper management would be aware and do something about it.

My four year old went in terrified and came out happy as a hark! He was telling me how nice the ladies were and how much he enjoyed his visit and can’t wait to go back.

Update: follow up today for an extraction. PERFECTION! Thank you staff at Advantage!

Update 2: we went in on his birthday - phenomenal! We love advantage!

We brought one child for fillings, and had all 3 with us. One of the other children was past due for a cleaning ( we changed locations ) and they took him at the same time. NOT ONLY THAT. We bring the 3 boys here for vision also. They just happen to have the time to give them all their eye exams today too. The staff are ALL AMAZING very good with our boys. Twin 8 yr olds and a 9 yr old. The patience they had with them was above and beyond. I highly recommend Dothan Advantage Dental and Vision!! 10 +++++

I was having trouble with receiving messages to confirm my children appointments. Mrs. Val reached out and called she was patient nice and friendly went above to help! The problem is solved staff is awesome and nice. I like the fact they teach our kids to be independent while going back to getting their teeth treated!!!

My son is 8, and he has been going here since he was 3. We have always had a good experience. My 2 year old had her first check up today, and it went very smoothly!

After the first experience with a dentist my child was traumatized. I took her to advantage they were AMAZING ! They talked to her and told her everything to keep her calm and happy. She had no issues. Definitely bringing my other child for visits here.

3rd Update: I don't want to change the stars because the most important part was the main front desk and doctor were lovely and took great care of us. However, the lady with the accent that does the phone calls and scheduling I'm not very fond of. Considering my lower review before this 3rd one was because she was so rude to me and snapped at me saying it was my fault my child had a cavity and made scheduling so difficult; she then this time had to reschedule me 2 hours before my oldest son's appt (no problem) but was so problematic during the rescheduling. She tapped out and put me on hold. 15min goes by and I finally got fed up of why she left me on hold like that. I called back and she answered and hung up on me. Then, I was finally able to talk to the other lady at front desk who solved rescheduling in less than a few min. Doesn't make any sense. Shes been this way for several years with us. I don't ever want to deal or hear from her again please. The rest of the experience was great.

I took my kids for an appointment yesterday. I absolutely love it all of the staff were caring kind and patient so my kids will definitely be going here Cheeck them out guys

Everyone was so kind and patient with me and my 2 rowdy kids. My oldest is 5 and autistic, youngest is 2. Dr. White was my kids dentists today and I can't remember the hygienist name, but they were absolutely incredible with my children. they were very understanding about my oldest son's special needs and we were comforting to my kids and me when we were having a hard time. Definitely recommend!!! My 2 year old wants to be a "teeth doctor" now

Getting all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled was fast, painless, everyone was so nice, and I would highly recommend for people to go here for their dental.

Front off staff were great with checking in for the appt. Hygienists were very nice. Dentist was great with my daughter. Settled her nerves and made for an enjoyable appt.

It is a great welcome atmosphere. The staff help our kiddos be brave and independent by letting the kids go back with the dental and eye care

When I called to make the appointment, the girl who booked our appointment was extremely short tempered, unfortunately. But they were able to get him in the same day (emergency appointment). Her attitude was so mean and unfriendly I was unsure about bringing him, but had no other options.

Dentist and dentist assistant, everyone in the back was GREAT. Dentist makes everything so comfortable for the kid(s). Super friendly compared to everyone in the front desk/ waiting area. It was actually shocking at how nice the dentist and dentist assistant was compared to everyone else.
Front desk is unfriendly and short tempered with horrible attitudes. Going to bring my son back but definitely dislike the attitudes with the front desk.

I hear negative things about this dentistry all the time, but I think they were really nice! Mrs Chrissie (I might have spelled it wrong), was super great with my son! She made it really comfortable for such a tough situation, especially since it had been quite a while since my son had seen a dentist.

My daughter's had a great first visit here. The front desk lady was very kind, the lady that took their vitals and x-ray was nice, & the hygienist was THE best! We didn't get a long visit with the dentist, but she seemed nice. We were able to go to the back with them and be apart of the whole experience. The children were explained everything in advance and treated kindly.

The waiting area is huge, has some activities for the kids, and a tv mounted on the wall was playing a children's movie. There was a large and well taken care of fish tank as well. There seemed to be only one restroom and it's located in the waiting area. So, once we were in the room we had to walk back to the front to use the restroom. That's the only downside I could think of.

This was our experience for the first visit, we'll see how all the rest go.

Angel was our hygienist today. She was very kind and handle my son the best I have seen when it came to any cleaning. He was happy going in and well as leaving out. Great job and keep up the good work.

The first time I took my little boy my nurse was not too nice. He and I were scared to go back. We went back yesterday and had a different nurse and she was beyond nice to me and my baby. He is no longer scared to go to the dentist. She cured his anxiety of that!!!!!

We had a very pleasant experience today for our first visit. Everyone was kind, and helped my daughter feel safe and comfortable. Tgey explained every step from beginning to end. Our dental hygienist was just amazing.
