Boondocks Bbq Burgers and Brews

Great food, great service, decent prices. Mostly BBQ but many other choices. If you order the BBQ sampler for 2, you can honestly feed 4 off it, no kidding. Our waitress Kayla was wonderful. A lot if fun and loved her job.

4-7-23, 5:30pm. Our first visit. Very popular place, we had 30 minute wait so not to bad. Lots of parking in lot. Nice outdoor patio area, maybe eat outside in better weather. Food was very good! Pictured is the platter for 1, cheese curds, and fried pickles. We had the Grouper sandwich and kids mac n cheese too. You will NOT leave hungry. Kid and allergy friendly. Only issue with the food was the fried pickles: we like the pickle slices thicker and the dipping sauce could have more horseradish, but that's our preference. Bar has seating for about 25 and you can eat there too. Staff was friendly. Only suggestion would be to offer moist towelettes at the tables, ribs leave sticky fingers. Looking forward to next visit.

Food is delicious! Highly recommend the Bang Bang Shrimp app. We went for lunch, had burgers, and they were great. Love, they now carry local brews from OPE! Brewing Co., yummy beers and great variety!!! My personal favorite is the Nightcap, if you like a Russian Imperial Stout. The sour beer was great too! Plus, they have 4 packs for takeout. I'm hoping they get 4 packs of the Nightcap and more varieties of the sour beers soon!!!! ;) Our waitress was fantastic, great service.

Our server, Becky was fantastic. She is on top of her game, that's for sure. I loved the atmosphere and I would give the food a A-. I wish the burnt ends were more burnt... They were undertone a little...

I would certainly eat here again and hope that Becky is my server.

Food was amazing. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Came in when it was extremely busy for lunch.Waitress got us our drinks right away and was constantly checking in until she could finally take our orders. Again food was amazing. Mardi gras deviled eggs!! And the deep fried corn blew my mind. Was wanting some baked French onion soup and they had it!! Made my whole week.Will be back for sure!!

Finally tried Boondocks and bummed we waited so long! It was delicious! I ordered the WI tailgate burger with no bun and the beer cheese on top was amazing. You'll definitely want to order the deep fried brussel sprouts. We both ordered them and they were hands down our favorite! The service was good as well. We'll definitely be back!

Trip 2 was a success as well, staff was friendly, tried some new items on the menu - the ribs fell off the bone and were the best tasting option in the sampler platter! The smoked Mac and cheese was a bit too grainy for my taste but the brussel sprouts are still delicious!

Corned beef skillet, very flavorful. Lamb Shepherd's Pie was very tasty & warm comfort food! Great service.

Stopped in for a smoked brisket white cheddar sandwich and fish fry. Food was serve red hot and fast, very tasty! Services was good, bartender made a very good brandy old fashion . Mz Jill and I will be back!

This has been our third visit to Boondocks with the whole family and some friends.
100% reccomend for eveyone!!
The food is amazing and reasonably priced.the staff has always been, fun, friendly, and fast keeping us and the kids happy.
The food is spectacular, burgers, BBQ, salads doesn't matter - its gonna be good!
The building and bathrooms are clean and well organized.
I cannot say enough good things about them, we will be back again soon!

Food was phenomenal! First time we ate there. Definitely going back. One thing that could be improved is the size of some of the side dishes could be bigger. Like smoked Mac and cheese….. Very good!

The waitress actually enjoys working here and was awesome and fun. She defiantly made the night out better. Food was great and plentiful and a very cool cozy feel to the place. Will be back.

What a pleasant surprise/diamond in the rough. Everything was fabulous from the food to our fabulous server. We went for the smoked BBQ. AMAZING! Will recommend and be back!

Space is really cozy but updated. Nice patio seating, too. The menu has many options but not too many, even included vegetarian opts. The food is soooo good, well seasoned, and good portions. Our server was probably one of the best servers we ever had. She was fast, attentive, knowledgeable, but also just the kind of person you want to help you. Absolutely loved this place and super impressed! Definitely coming back! Food is also reasonably priced-- I don't know the name of our server. She has blonde hair and was wearing gummy bears earrings.

Had some of the best pulled pork and brisket since moving here to Wisconsin. Service was great and my wife even won some free drinks during the Packers game. Will definitely recommend to others.

Love the food at Boondocks! We get the sampler dinner for 2. There is plenty of food for a 2nd meal at home. Highly recommend. Seating is lots of pub tables and bar with limited standard tables for the elderly or short people unless you're outside. I'd give 5 stars for the atmosphere if the TV and radio weren't blasting so loud inside and outside that you have to yell to talk to anyone . For us women, there is only 1 bathroom with 1 stall. So when they are busy, there is a waiting line.

Went for a fish fry. Started with the bang bang shrimp appetizer 10/10z I didn’t realize you get 2 sides w/ the fish fry on top of the rye bread, coleslaw & tartar. Absolutely delish wild caught fried cod. The salad, mac n cheese, and haystack onions were amazing too. The haystack was a little thicker than some places, but it was perfect. My husband had the special rosemary pork. It was very good.

Absolutely recommend. Love everything that I have had here this far, but this fish fry ruined a lot of other fish frys. It was the perfect light beer batter, hot and crispy.

Had a great time there yesterday afternoon with a large group of friends. Much thanks to the Robert Allen Jr. Band for providing excellent live music on the patio for us! Our server, Kiley was super friendly and attentive. The drinks were great and she kept ‘‘em coming! The smoked chicken wings and Caribbean Jerk Salmon were delicious as well. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon. We will be back!

Delicious dine in and excellent choice for wedding catering 👌 we were frequent customers, which made Boondocks an obvious choice to cater our wedding. They did an excellent job from planning to day of execution. Our guests raved about how good the food was and we appreciated how easy they were to work with. Highly recommend for catering or just a night out! Thank you 😊

Probably some of better bbq that I’ve had. I was surprised, having lower expectations we got the bbq platter for 2, brisket tacos, and a burger. The entire family was very happy with the food, each mentioning their surprise.
