Used to order out here regularly growing up. Drove 45 mins this past weekend bc I was craving the egg drop soup and pork fried rice. EASILY THE BEST EGG DROP SOUP I’ve ever had. We also love the sweet and sour.

My gosh, such great food. So hard to find egg foo young for some reason. They have it. BBQ pork, absolutely wonderful... This place is strictly take out and that's just fine. Food is off the chart wonderful.

I go here at least twice a week! The food is so good and they are CONSISTENT! There are a few Chinese food spots in the area but I will never stray. I’m from Chicago and our Chinese food is top tier so I was afraid I wouldn’t find anything comparable. I was wrong!

Ordered for the first time tonight. Everything was hot and fresh when we got it. All of it tasted great as well. Will be back again

THE BEST Chinese Food in all of Downers Grove (and Bolingbrook).

The Orange Chicken Combo is my go-to. Very VERY reasonably priced with an insane amount of food. Everything I've tried from here is 10/10.

Chicken chop suey with chicken fried rice is very good.

You probably won't find a better place for Chinese carryout or delivery in the area. Prices aren't great but they are reasonable for the quality. I tend to look at the broccoli to judge this kind of place. They do it perfect, tender but still bright green and not mushy. In 10 years of ordering they only made one mistake and more than made up for the next time I ordered. Tipping the delivery driver well is very beneficial to future orders.

Love their food! Best value Chinese takeout restaurant in the entire Chicagoland area. The lunch and dinner combo specials are the best deal going. This is the place for quality and value. Fast and efficient service every time too.

This place may cook the best shrimp fried rice that I've ever had in my life. Shrimp dumplings, wonton soup, and Mongolian beef are also excellent. Always on time, and always fresh and hot. I love Lucky Star - Highly recommended!!!!!

Ever since I moved to the area, I’ve been looking around for takeout Chinese. This is the 3rd one that I’ve tried & best believe I fell in love with this place. They really come in clutch the last 10 mins & still delivered my order. They’re always so nice when I speak to them on the phone. One time I decided to drop in for the first time in person & the owner recognize my voice. She said she was glad to finally meet me & I felt so welcomed. I love coming to this place, it feels so authentic. Best takeout Chinese I have ever encountered.

Good, friendly neighborhood Chinese takeout food. Has most Chinese staples fast service. Tasty food. Being ordering for many years and they still are very good. One of the best in the area

We have been ordering from here for 3 years and have never had a problem. The food is great. Its a little expensive, but chinese food in general is expensive. The service is always pleasant and delivery is quick. I wish they would give coupons to repeat customers.

I never found another better Chinese restaurant is years, they served the best Orange chicken 10 years ago when I was living with my parents, fast forward to present time I recently ordered from them (it's been awhile) but the just don't know how to disappoint, the food is still the best Chinese I've ever had.

Been going there for years. Fast service and always consistent with their food. Never a bad experience. Nice friendly people working there!
