Woodbine Bend Golf Course and Restaurant

I cannot wait to get out to the course again this year! The conditions of the entire course are amazing, the tee boxes are always fresh & the greens are always in impeccable shape.

The staff is even better always willing to pour a nice cold beer to have with the outstanding & unique menu specials!

My group came out on Labor day, 2019. The course wasn't busy at all. The lady running the pro shop recommended the back 9 so we played that. Course was in perfect shape. I really liked some of the blind tee shots on holes 10-13. I can't wait to come back and play the whole 18. Great place!

Excellent food and atmosphere! I love coming here for dinner after work. Everyone is so friendly.

Friday night ayce Fried Pollack had an amazingly good crispy coating.
(2) Lobster Tail special, the lobster was good. The rice "pilaf " was more like flavored white rice and had an odd taste. The Sausage Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms are a must!
Friendly prompt service. Each course came out promptly, with hardly no wait in between them.
Our first time here and overall the meal was good. We'll go back again.

Always have a good meal at Woodbine’s Restaurant. I had an excellent prime rib this most recently visit. The Bluegill is always a must try! We frequent he restaurant a few times yearly while visiting our summer home.

Attended a surprise B-day celebration for Chef Dan kretchmer
Organized by his son and co- Chef
Waylon Kretchmer. The surprise was that he totally kept the celebration under raps, until the end of serving patrons. He was overwhelmed and very appreciative of family and friends that came.
One great evening was held by
all that attended.

Excellent links style course conveniently nestled right off Highway 20 in the center of the JDC Illinois. Try their dinner sometime, sneakly some of the best food around!

Recently had dinner at clubhouse. Service was excellent. My husband had the Angus skewer and I had the sea scallops and shrimp. Both were delicious and moderately priced.

Played this morning. 8:52 tee time and didn’t see anyone in front or behind the entire time. Wife and I played 18 in just over 3 hours. Course was in fantastic shape and challenging enough with bunkers in front of a lot of the holes and a number of greens that sloped from front to back. The staff was great and the price was reasonable. Will definitely be back here.

Woodbine Bend Golf Course is a phenomenal facility in Northwest Illinois with a great restaurant and staff that assists customers on the Course and at the bend. Additionally, the Pro Shop, starter, and bag boys/girls do a wonderful job assisting customers!

Excellent course and beautiful venue. I did not get a chance to try the food but that will be next time. Definitely a hidden gem and worth going here whether it be for golf, food, or hosting an event.

Course in great shape. Club house needs to get help with food and service took forever.

Such a fun atmosphere, always feel super welcome! The golf course is first class and always immaculate. Drinks are cold, food is great and the staff is super friendly... The owner is pretty awesome too, shes super creative always bringing new ideas you may see swing dance classes, painting and maybe one day they'll even offer cooking classes!

I love fish, and this place is the best Fish fry and the cold slow. The atmospheric is Is great there.

Wow! What a great experience! Gorgeous scenic course in fantastic condition. Challenging but fair. Greens some of the best I’ve putted on. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food and drink at a great price. Can’t wait to come back. Can’t recommend highly enough!
