Off Shore Inn & Suites

We stayed in the RV park. Everything was meticulous. We had a beautiful site on the Mississippi River and really enjoyed our downtime. We also visited the restaurant for fish fry Friday and it was a lot of fun. The office staff handling RVs were excellent as were the restaurant staff. Highly recommend!

I have never worked with a Hotel that attended to details like Kari and her staff. Over a year of planning and great communication allowed our final night to be a huge success. From that check in to bag delivery and servicing our members, Kari's staff was on top of every detail. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and especially to motorcoach groups wanting a "Hidden Treasure" destination. Kari went the extra mile in making sure all our our needs were me. Our views, rooms, food, breakfast, time around the firepit, pool were all above and beyond what we expected. It made our final night celebration one that we will always remember. I have been working with Kari from Off Shore Inn for more than a year preparing for our stay at Off Shore. From day one Kari has been responsive to every call I have made. We brought our motorcoach of 50 senior citizens for our final night of our tour. Kari and her staff were on top of every detail. The check in when perfect and the people loved the view and rooms. Our dinner at the Off Shore Bar and Grill was fabulous complete with Cherries Jubilee to top off our tour to Door County! Kari went the extra mile to make our stay one we will never forget. Many of our members are planning to come back with family to this "Hidden Gem"...including myself! I can't say enough for all the attention we had even with S'Mores at the firepit after dinner and an awesome hot breakfast. I personally wanted to stay a few more days. Thank you to Kari and her staff! We give you a 5 Star++ rating! See you again soon!

Excellent location for a family reunion. Our hotel room is large and immaculate. The staff is friendly and helpful. The river is amazingly beautiful at this location. Our family dinners were held at the American Legion in town 3 miles away.

Beautiful location, great service. All and all this is a solid choice if you're in the area and can snag the rooms for a bit under the listed rates. Breakfast offered is pretty typical for a hotel so not great, but otherwise the Offshore is great.

The adjoining restaurant is a perk too, though it's a bit pricey for average food.

Some of the reviews had us quite worried about our choice to stay here. But we had no issues!! The hotel was very nice and clean! We really enjoyed it. Music selection in lobby was not bad as one reviewer stated. One recommendation is to offer a recycling bin in lobby since their milk and OJ are individually packaged. We'll be back if we're in the area again.

Very nice for our ski weekend in Iowa. Staff very kind- saw us heading to the pool and brought down some towels for us! We needed an extra fold up bed, staff set it up in seconds and took care of all needs. The pool and fitness area are very satisfying to our needs, and the environment was very quiet. Breakfast was great and with do-it-yourself waffles, nobody was left hungry. Overall a 5-star experience!

Loved the place. Our private balcony overlooked the Mississippi River and reminded me of when we were at Captiva down in Florida it was so beautiful. Our Suite was large and could easily be an apartment. The free breakfast was very nice and just a typical Hotel full breakfast - not a private Chef down there doing the cooking for us but I was quite capable of being well fed. I was quite surprised at the reasonable price of the Suite. I will no doubt bring the grandchildren back for a river tour and targeting this as our place to stay. There is a very nice bar and grill next to the hotel with good food.

This was an odity to be sure. Your in this small Iowa town in the dead of winter, in the middle of nowhere, for a funeral, and out of nowhere appears this beautiful newer hotel right on the river. The staff were so friendly. They actually carried our bags to the room. It was like a scene out of a 1950s movie. Everything was clean and comfortable. The fitness center and pool were awesome and overlook the river. Riverviews, even in the starkness of winter were beautiful. Maybe a few more breakfast options. We stayed at a place in Santa Fe that did boiled eggs, plain oatmeal and fixings for the oatmeal, nuts, cranberries, ect. with some fresh fruit options. The egg, sausage, potatoe skillet was good, but the next morning was told there weren't enough people in the hotel to do it. Had a bagal toasted with butter. It was good. The Shore Restaurant connected to the hotel had great food! Would stay again and recommend.

Staff was courteous, and went above and beyond. Parking lot is expansive; we had no trouble parking our truck and boat. Housekeeping noticed (when we first entered our room) that the door lock had a low battery. She stopped what she was doing to replace it to ensure we didn't have to deal with it. We were allowed to check in several hours early (no charge). We were also given an extra room key (no charge - I managed to lose one and lock us out of our room). My daughter got to go swimming for the first time in their pool, which is handicapped accessible (along with the hot tub - who has that?). The hotel is connected to the bar/restaurant next door - which is very family friendly, and convienent, since we didn't have to get all dressed up and go outdoors (in February). Very quiet, did not hear anyone between 8:30 pm and 7:00 am. The balcony is amazing, my husband and I watched the sunrise together. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here for my sisters wedding and everything went perfect. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and you couldn’t hear noise from other rooms or the hallway. Great price for the experience they offer!

We have stayed here many times as our parents live in town, we are all out of town and cannot fit into one house. This is a clean hotel with a decent breakfast. Not the ritz obviously but waffles are good .

They were very accomodating to us and our guests. It was perfect having our wedding at "The Shore Event Centre" and to have our guests stay at the Baymont hotel and some guests at the campground they own just next door. We also were very glad that they allowed us to use their conference room to store our gifts overnight.

Excellent customer service! Me and my wife stayed here last night, her father went on hospice friday and she wanted to be there for him. We just picked up and went no notice nothing, showed up at 3am and were greeted warmly and treated very well! Can not say enough about this place. Not because everything was perfect, no juice for the morning continental breakfast... really? but that's not what it's about. Our plans then changed with a huge snow storm brewing in Minneapolis and a 10 month old to think about we needed to head back early. Not only did they waive the second night (we were there until 6pm well past check out) but they gave us a reduced rate for the night we had already spent there!

I'd give 10 stars if it was an option. Highly recommend. er one side note however, if your a business person or really need your TV and or internet working 24/7 might want to pass... both had issues during our short stay.

Beautiful rooms, view, and service. The restaurant is wonderful also. Great food and service. Not to mention the rates for what you get. We have a gorgeous balcony view. Staying another night due to ALL above. Thank you☺

Great hotel and restaurant next door. Would be even better if when you open your room window the outlets dont sing. Major air pressure issue. Annoying howl gets old so I use ear plugs. Leave the window shut and hope the room next door leaves his window shut too or it'll sing

We were guests at the Hird- Griffey wedding &the reception was wonderful again you can be outside watching the river flow,or,inside air conditioned comfort!the banquet hall is big very nice ballroom,just beautiful and all the staff were amazing.

Not just nice for a Baymont inn, a legitimately top notch hotel. Get a river facing room, beautiful and stay at least two nights. Looking forward to my next stay in the Bellevue Baymont.

Staff goes above and beyond! When my brother was in a motorcycle accident and ended up hospitalized, Chris took his belongings to him at the hospital! Mgr. was helpful checking him out, too! Thank you!
