Excellent gin mill. Friendly bartender, mushrooms were great and the jambalaya was out of this world. Go to Cajun Jack's.

First time and it was amazing! We sat outside a storm was brewing but it was great watching it. The food was great and the staff was top notch. Even got to do some swing dancing with my hubby while we waited for the food. Definitely will be going back.

This is a great place to visit for some hard to find food fare in the Midwest. The oysters, crawtails, shrimp, and gator bites are excellent. They also have sand volleyball and a really chill vibe. Definitely recommend.

Cajun Jack's is the definition of fun. There are not too many restaurants that have a cajun and western vibe at the same time. The staff was extremely friendly and gave us a tour of the restaurant. They have named the animals on the wall and challenge you to find them all. They have almost anything on the menu. Cajun food, tradiional bar food, and even Mexican. If you want to have a drink Cajun Jack's has a beautiful indoor and outdoor bar. We tried the Shrimp dip as an appetizer, the eutofee (just the right amount of spice) and the guacamole burger (our favorite). If you are on a road trip make sure you stop at Cajun Jack's and enjoy something out of the ordinary!

Go for Cajun soup bowl 🦐. One of very few restaurants that serve bread with soup( not just crackers) to wipe bowl clean 🥣✨
🌶 Jalapeno poppers were good but didn't have the 🥵 I expected.
Cheeseburger was nothing special.. it was overdone by my standards..

Stopped in for a late lunch, and had a great meal and very good time. The restaurant has an interesting connection to Louisiana and Cajun food. I'm not a big fan of extremely hot food, and the staff will prepare your meal as hot or as mild as you desire. I had an excellent baked catfish. (The picture shows it half eaten. [Sorry.]). My wife had alligator "tots.". Both were excellent.

The waitress was very friendly, and the chef came out to see how we were doing.

Weekends include live music.

Ample parking.

Handicap friendly.

I will come back for more!

Great bar restaurant looks spacious they have a covered patio. The beer is cold the food is good kinda takes you to another place. Service is top notch. Would highly recommend if you're near

I started coming here because it's a good lunch spot to use as a riding destination. The food is good. The service has always been good. There is outdoor seating. Last week there was live music outside. And,... there is motorcycle parking out front.

Really good food! There seems to be only one lady working and she's killin it! Will def be making a trip back for the stuffed mushrooms and gator very soon

Had lunch on a Sunday. All food was well made, hot, and well presented. The Jack's Caps (stuffed mushrooms with shrimp, crawfish, and oysters) were fabulous. Hush puppies are not on the menu but we did ask for them. 6 of them for $3. They were good but the middles of them were slightly cold. My husband had the chili burger with onion rings. He said they were absolutely great. Lots of meat on the burger. I I had the trifecta basket (combo of catfish, shrimp, and oysters - all fried). Those items were so well done that I don't even care that the fries and the coleslaw weren't that great. My kid had cheese roll ups which is just tortillas with cheese melted in them and rolled up. Real simple, Nothing special. There were better kids meals available. My five year old is just picky. Our waitress was fast and friendly and did a great job. We have no complaints. Like I said, even with the sides not being that great, I would still say this is five stars because what I came here for was the fish and seafood and all of those items were awesome.

Had the fish tacos and shrimp stuffed mushrooms, I am so full! Everything was delicious! Great price and great service. Dessert options of chocolate lava cake, pineapple upside down cake, and deep fried cheese cake!

Man, I love this place! I've been Here 4 Thursdays in a row for Extreme Bar Bingo and the food has been delicious! Very good drinks, delicious reasonably priced food, and a fun atmosphere! ( disclaimer: if you're looking for healthy eating, this is not the place for you)

So glad we stopped for lunch at this awesome spot! Great service and great food! All the seafood we ordered are fresh and well made! The atmosphere is perfect for a casual gathering with friends and/or chill with live music. It’s a must stop on your way to Galena!

Great place.....so glad we stumbled upon it. Burgers were awesome. Staff was great and made sure we had everything needed.

Really cool place I've driven by a hundred times and said, "I should go there sometime." Well, I did and it was worth it. My wife had the gator bite po'boy and it was really good if you like gator. I went with the Cajun burger that has andouie sausage and blue cheese, and it was spectacular, for an app we did the shrimp dip, and it was pretty good. We sat on the porch next to the volleyball courts and brought our pup. Prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly.

The food was delicious! We weren't sure what to expect from a Cajun restaurant in small-town Illinois, but they sure surprised us! The drinks did take quite a while, and we were there on a Monday evening with only 3 or 4 other tables.

In Illinois from Arkansas for a hunting trip and found this place, after reading the menu I found that the owner was from Arkansas as well, the food was really good and I ate there pretty much every day.

Everything was awesome! The only thing I didn't care for, the deep fried shrimp tasted fishy, Like it was fried with oysters.
Would definitely go back though.

We had breakfast on our way to Galena, it was so good. We came back for lunch crawfish boil and raw oysters (which is only once a month)...soooo good. Stacy and Heidi were our servers, they were fabulous. Went back on our way out of town for breakfast...shows you how much we loved this place...Stacy you are the best.
