Spruce Creek Park

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip here. Definitely come earlier if you want an on the river spot. But no site seems terrible here. We did need two cords to plug into this specific site, as the camper spot and electric posts were further than the other spots. It is very well kept campground, with nice restrooms and beautiful scenery. Being able to keep the boats close by is a plus as well, since we spent a lot of time out on the water boating and fishing.

Great park! I like the fact that it's first come first served. Shower house is new. No water in the park that I could see except near that shower house. When we sampled it, the water was rusty looking but that was near the end of season, so maybe it just needs to be flushed out. But the park does have nice views of the river and some good, larger sites. Some are closer than others, but we enjoyed it.

Great little spot to take your camper. The sites on the river are amazing! We spent 3 days here in spot #10 and would highly recommend it. The sunrise over the river is fantastic. The facilities are nice and the self-service check-in is very easy. If you're going to stay, don't forget to have cash! It's $22/night as of this posting; cash-only.

Some parking issues due to construction on the harbor, but the park is very well maintained

This camp ground is really very nice. We've been going here at least 20-30 years now. It's really clean and very quiet. The sites are very nice! I would suggest that if there have been heavy rains and flooding along the Mississippi River to double check before you camp to make sure the camp ground is open.

Cleanest, nicest modern bathrooms I've ever seen. Everyone you meet is friendly. Nice waterfront views. Would be better if there was a swimming area/camp store, but overall a great place.

GreT campsites right on Mississippi River maim channel.. was catching walleye 24 inches long and catfish to big for the net .right at our campsite .. could not ask for better. .oh but it is. . Was paying 35 bucks a nite at Mississippi palisades on illinios side. .
. This place was 25.00 per nite. Electricity and water . Most sites have. Channel up to sites for your boat .to be left in water. Over nite at your site ..can be easyer to not have to put in and take out ... great town of Bellevue ..some look out points along road. . You can see for miles. And see the lock and dam. . And the barges going up and down the river. Eagles flying in the air. And if you drive north there is crystal lake cave. . Nice tour .nice cool ace to go on hot summer day... and if you go up to dubuque you can check out casino 🎰. Great camping. Place

Great campground for tent or RV. Free showers for campers, and free wi-fi all over. I have stayed here for 11 years running and it has only gotten better! $17.00 campsite with electric, $21.00 for a campsite with electric and a cement slab. I recommend!

It is so fun. There are 86 camping areas and there is a park.tur camp sites are so cool there is a lot of room for a fire. There is grass and bridges u can go over that ate steady. You can also go fishing.

Campgrounds right on the Mississippi river. Love watching the birds, river barges and riverboat. And there is always a chance to catch a fish. Beautiful shade and friendly people

Was very peaceful and beautiful view of the river,,, restroom and shower very well kept..

It's a great little campground It's got Trees grass and the fire pit. What more could you possibly ask for? If it's bathrooms and a place to shower ,then you got it explanation point

It's a great camping place and a great place to go and put your boat in the water and go for s cruise.
