Tea Thyme & Thyme to Shop

What a lovely place! Our food was delicious, the employees were friendly, and the kids tea party was so fun with the best lemonade!

This was an adorable little restaurant with an amazing menu of homemade meals. We filled up on a delicious lunch, and brought some dessert to go. They even have a great gift shop.

We had a great group event at Tea Thyme. Our Kiwanis Club celebrated 101 years. The food was superb, great roast beef and chicken options. Appreciated The Serving crew, they were so helpful.

A quaint cafe with wonderful owners and employees, flavored coffee and a shop. But...the best part of this place is soup and a bread bowl but you cannot go wrong on any choice for food. Wonderful for a private lunch, a business meeting or a ladies outing. I've been eating there for 11years and it's a must. My husband is quite jealous when I go without him.

Stopped by because my mother, who's in a nursing home, said she wanted some Broccolli soup in a breadbowl from this restaurant. Got talking with the VERY friendly ladies (mother and daughter) who own and operate the place and they knew who my parents were. They were genuinely concerned with how my elderly parents were doing, and insisted on sending along a couple pieces of coconut pie to them, at no charge. Tough to find the combination of quality and service that this place offered these days.

We had a private family gathering at Tea Thyme a year ago, and it was so enjoyable, the family still talks about it. Outstanding service, incredible food - oh, the food! it was so delicious! - efficient, friendly service, and a quaint, homey atmosphere - all combined, it was a perfect event. Kudos to the owners and staff!

Great place to go for a special Lunch or Brunch in a fun and fancy atmosphere. They sweetly help me stay gluten-free free. All menu meal choices are one price: 10.00 and desserts are all 4.00. The coconut cream pie and coconut crust is gluten-free and I really like it.

This is a classy place to bring friends or family who are visiting Fort Dodge, or for special occasions like Valentine's Day dinner, but it's also nice just to go there on a date. Family-run & owned; sophisticated yet whimsical atmosphere; classical music; candle-lit, white table cloth dining; cozy (make a reservation); reasonably priced; good for large groups, too; huge dessert menu; charming gift shop; romantic.

We went for a company party and had almondine chicken breast with carrots & mashed potatoes with a garlic roll. Hubby had roast beef. They serve beer & wine.

The food was like having a home-cooked American meal on a special occasion. Very tasty. As for desserts, that night they had rhubarb crisp on special, served warm a la mode- delicious! We also brought desserts home for the kids: turtle cheesecake, French silk pie, Oreo mint chocolate pie, and double chocolate cake. What a hit! Good idea for dessert only, with coffee or tea.

We will definitely be going back.

All my girlfriends at my class reunion met here for lunch. Food was good and great atmosphere! A bit pricey for amount of food.

A charming, nostalgic dining room, gift shop to browse, and the nicest, most helpful staff anywhere. Food was good and coconut cream pie to die for. I also took apple and cherry to go!

Love to go to Sadie's, especially for a special lunch. I like to order from the "special menu" which has 4-6 choices: all are delicious & change often for a good variety. Not just your "same old" menu.
Gift areas offer unique clothing, accessories, bags, Nick nacks, seasonal decor & even baby gifts.

I have been to the tea room a few different occasions in the past. I have never been disappointed in the friendly atmosphere of the tea room. The menu selections are delicious. Prices are reasonable.
A must visit should be added to every calendar of events.

Borderline amazing and beyond expectations. Wear your nice clothes! The interior is absolutely beautiful and the food is 100x better than you have ever eaten before.

Love the food! This is a great place to make a memory. My mom loved this place and everytime we go it reminds us of the times we went with our mom.

This is a beautiful, fun, quaint little spot. The selection of teas and coffee is great and the food is ALWAYS devine! Making reservations is the best way to guarantee you have a spot. Love love love this place!

Took my mom who was visiting from out of town here and we both loved the food. Lived here over 10 years and never been.... that's a mistake.

My favorite place to treat family and friends to. I love the homemade food and the desserts are out if this world. The gift shop has beautiful items from baby to adult. 💜
