Amazing meal! Great adaptations of classic dishes with a high end flare!! The calamari was phenomenal, tuna ceviche so flavorful and the pizzas are incredible. The dough is so light, fluffy and delicious it’s hard to not keep eating! Highly recommended

A delightful dining experience reminiscent of Italy itself. The dishes were authentic and delicious, complemented by our attentive and knowledgeable waiter. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended for a genuine taste of Italy.

First time here and will be back for sure. This is one of, if not the best Italian restaurants in Connecticut. Authentic Neapolitan Pizza is a rare find and this is as good as being in Italy. My only regret is that I have not tried it sooner !

Came here for my wife’s birthday. Excellent food, homemade gnocchi are super good, pizza is real Italian, all was fantastic. Nice atmosphere, great and friendly service. Will come back!

Strega is a small upscale Italian restaurant with a modern feel. The menu is simple but sophisticated at the same time. The focaccia bread is flavorful and well seasoned. The meatballs and sauce are traditional Italian excellence. The scallop appetizer was cooked to perfection. I was able to taste the gnocchi and it was a little more dense than usual but still good.

My entree was the stuffed Cannelloni with bolugnese sauce. The pasta tasted fresh and the sauce was seasoned well. All in all a good experience.

Unfortunately we did not try the pizza but it looked and smelled good.

It was a bit warm in the restaurant, if it had been warmer out side we may have been uncomfortable without AC.

We don't normally frequent the same restaurants often to try new things but Strega is a different case... The atmosphere is cozy, and homey like you are eating at a relatives house. The food is incredible, pizza is fantastic. The service is bar none, every server is pleasant.

Vibe: The owners have such great taste in style which is seen in the art work, flickering ceiling lights, table settings, and just the overall warmth of the establishment.

-There is a nearby park and Ice cream store for a little dessert!!
-You can park in the bank parking lot across the street

Some of the most authentic Italian cuisine I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing in Connecticut! All of the products used were so fresh, especially the mozzarella, and the pizza crusts were light but crispy. Chef Danilo’s passion goes into every dish he makes, and it does not go unnoticed. I thought the open-kitchen setting was really unique, and it was nice to see the chef chatting with the customers that were sitting there. Everything we had was absolutely incredible, and I really feel like I found a little piece of Italy in Connecticut. Looking forward to my next visit already!

True taste and flavors of Italy! Many of the ingredients and flavors have been personally selected and imported from different regions of Italy. The pizza closely resembles the Neopilitan Style Pizza with such a fluffy and light crust that is ready in just 90 seconds in the oven. It's hard to choose a personal favorite but one great example of the authenticity of the flavors and ingredients is the Calabrese Pizza. It is topped with N'duja which is a spicy spreadable sausage found in the region of Calabria. I rarely find that ingredient here in the States. Each pizza is creative and unique. I recommend ordering 1 or 2 at a time and sharing them with the table. In addition, the appetizers are also creative and delicious. Strega is a great addition to downtown Milford. The staff and owners are super friendly and welcoming, providing a fun and casual environment. Strega is a must try!

Today Straga opened its arms to welcome our thirty guests to honor my granddaughter with a wedding shower. I cannot begin to tell you readers of this review how kind and caring the staff was to each and every one of us. The food was sublimely delicious and beautifully presented. Words fail to adequately convey our gratitude to STREGA for helping to make this a PERFECT EXPERIENCE in every way. I closing I wish to covey our outstanding recommendation of this welcoming “home away from home”❗

Moved to the area recently. Discovered delectable food & extraordinary staff at Strega, on the green in Milford. Outrageous pizza, salads scallops are to die for! Not too loud, intimate atmosphere--love eating @ the bar, watching staff prepare healthy, authentic Italian cuisine. My happy

Very good food, nice ambience, and friendly staff. Their pizza in particular is amazing: really fresh and tasty dough and a wide range of unique ingredients and flavors. Definitely worth a try.

The welcoming staff showed us right to the bar which is actually a front seat to the real show which is a one man band who cooks all the pizzas right in front of you. I couldn’t have left happy hour happier then I was at this gem in the heart of Milford

This is the cutest little spot. Very unique spin on dishes and absolutely delicious. Don’t pass on the carpaccio, it is to die for. One of the best bartenders anywhere in the state, Dani H, delish and creative mixology drinks and presentation was outstanding. Thank you Dani for a great night!

Strega is a exceptional addition to Downtown Milford. It's worth the trip to try Strega simply for the various flavors of the homemade Focaccia bread. The menu is thoughtfully curated - the various Neapolitan style pizza & Cacio e Pepe are definitely shareable. The owners are lovely welcoming people providing a flawless dining experience. #supportlocal

We had the pleasure to dine last night at one of the best restaurant we've had the pleasure to visit. Danilo, his wife and wonderful staff made our experience so warm and inviting. The flavors soo fresh and delicious. From the Carpaccio to Fresh Foccacia bread Tuna Ceviche! Brought our pallets back to Italy 🇮🇹. We were so excited to have the next course I forgot to take pictures. The soft Crust and zesty pizza sauce was insane! Wonderful place. If you haven't yet visited... Make it a point to get here. Amazing

From the minute you walk in, I was transported into an AUTHENTIC Italian restaurant. I had a strega mule, carpaccio, meatballs ( like nonnas), and the short ribs and the strega affogato. Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! I cannot wait to return! Thank you to the entire staff for this exceptional culinary experience!

This is a great little spot in Milford! The owners are so friendly and you feel like you’ve known them for years. Food is delicious and the bar tender Joel is so friendly and amazing! The espresso martini is divine. I love hanging out to just chat. Everyone who comes here is happy and has an appetite for delicious meals!
