Absolutely fantastic place to eat! There was a group of 7 of us meeting up before an event and they were very accommodating to make sure our food was made fresh and quick. The staff were very kind. The food was very fresh and tasty. It was quite filling. I will definitely be back if I head to the area again.

Welcome to El faro #2. The home of the giant burrito. Well cooked well prepared. When I come I always get the burrito dinner because it comes with beans and rice.

By far my favorite Steak Burrito place. I order take out, but the food is always amazing!

I went in for breakfast and got their chorizo and eggs, with extra rice. The lady working was so nice and even gave me an extra side of beans at no charge just so I could try them. She also gave me a free cafe con olla while I waited for my order. I’ve never had this kind of coffee before but the subtle flavor of cinnamon was really good. They definitely don’t skimp on their portion sizes so I have breakfast for a couple of days now.

It has all of the traditional Mexican dishes, with a beautiful family atmosphere.

The renovations done make the location look absolutely gorgeous. The owners and the staff make you feel absolutely wanted.

It's easy, fast, inexpensive, tasty food - perfect for a quick casual meal with our family on a Friday night when we don't feel like cooking, but don't want to do fast food. And it's nice to have it just down the road.
We've been there 3 times now, and the staff recognize us and say "hi" when we walk in. We like to eat late on a Friday (after 8pm), so it's good to have a place open for a quick, late meal.
Apart from opening night, it's not been too crowded since then. Enough people to create an atmosphere, but there's hardly any wait time for ordering. And the food comes out very quickly.

It's a friendly place with cozy decor. They have an all-you-can-eat chip and salsa bar, that you can help yourself from.
I keep getting the chicken enchilada meal, which comes with a yummy mole sauce. My husband and son get the giant burritos, which satisfy them. They've tried the beef and the tongue ones - both yummy. My daughter gets the tacos, which she likes a lot. The pork ones are the best, with an onion and cilantro topping.😋

After 3 visits, I can see this becoming a regular favorite place of ours. 😍

Great mom and pop spot! Delicious burritos get the Chile rellenos with steak burrito it's my go to. Also, the best Cafe de Olla I've ever tasted.

Love their food!!! I haven't tried everything but their chorizo tostada dinner with double rice is great!!! Also family orders with me...steak burrito, chiles rellenos tacos and guacamole tacos and chips with salsa and guacamole with chips

Really enjoying this place. Al Pastor tacos are the best and they do have the best beans. Loved the decor inside. The family that runs this place is so nice, they do care about giving the best customer service. The prices are great for the area. Highly recommend it.

I have ordered several times from El Faro #2 and am always extremely satisfied with what I have ordered. I usually order pork tacos and pork nachos and they are always so delicious. The staff is also so nice and friendly. What a great addition to our neighborhood!

I ordered yesterday the lengua and it was so good I decided to try the chicken buritto today. So let me begin by saying communication is awesome, staff called me yesterday to make sure my order was the way I wanted it. That shows me they really care. Also all my questions were answered. Next everyone in Al faro wants you to be well fed cuz both times i ordered omg like it could feed your entire family . I divided mine for lunch and dinner and even some for next day cuz that’s how much filling it was. The chicken burrito was really packed with avocado today 😍. Cuz I work and don’t feel like cooking when I get back it makes me
Grateful. I feel I be getting my nutrients from here this food really healthy. Im gonna keep being a repeat customer for the days I don’t feel like cooking for sure. Excellent.

Love that this place is within walking distance to my place. I go here often. Originally always went to the one in Summit. When I first moved to the area, I met a group of Polish and Mexican mechanics that introduced me to El Faro in Summit. Ever since then, the giant steak burrito and pork tacos have become a staple of my diet lol. The El Faro in Summit has that cool old school feel and the one in Riverside is like brother that just came into some money with those nice card readers. I’d write more, but I’m about to order some pork tacos.
