Nice and well kept. Very short trails

The trails can be a lot of fun, with plenty of steep sections for hikers wanting a more difficult trail. Nice little river, a cool tunnel, and decent views.

Small (72 acre) park. A bit tricky to get to but with it. Visited during a relatively dry time, trails are rough and many are clearly for mountain bikers.

The Overlook is quite steep in a few places but has some good views of the creek. I am curious about the Ackerman Creek trail after the Overlook Trail. It looks like it could have been an old inter-city railbed.

A beautiful hike through the woods, down to a creek. A little over a mile out and back. Dogs on leash permitted.

Great little hike spot. Parking is on street in neighborhood. Has Creek running through thats great for kids to play in. Trails would also be ok for mountain bikes.

Great small park for hiking and mountain biking, more quiet than many city parks due to its off the beaten path location.

We love this little wilderness. It's a good walk for kids, not too long. There are a couple trails to take that loop around, all shaded by trees. A couple maps along the way too to let you know where you are. When we were here in the summer they had a porta potty at the trailhead too. Very helpful with little kids.

As you’re facing the woods: the trail to the left is wider and easier. The trail to the right is more vertically challenging.
Do not go if it’s wet.
We’re in our 60’s, and the trail was muddy, so we didn’t attempt to go to the bottom, but it looks like a nice creek.

Nice hilly and woodsy path! Also would be good for a creek walk or mountain biking.. but pretty short and not extremely well maintained though (overgrown and trees down in some areas)

Welcoming natural environment. Very serene, but easy to go off trail by the creek.
